Pete Wicks to release dog book

Pete Wicks is releasing a doggy book.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star was left devastated last year when his beloved pet pooch Ernest sadly died at the young age of just three after he contracted a life-threatening illness and, in order to raise awareness and educate people on French Bulldogs, he’s decided to pen a tome called ‘For the Love of Frenchies’ and will release it next year.
Taking to his Twitter account, the 28-year-old hunk said: "Here it is guys…
"I’m so excited to be revealing the cover of my new book #ForTheLoveOfFrenchies – I can’t wait for you all to read about this amazing breed as well stories about myself, Eric and my sorely missed boy Ernest. (sic)"
The book – which will document Pete’s life with his other canine Eric – will drop on February 22 and is available to buy in hardback for £14.99 or in Kindle form for £9.99.
The description on Amazon said: " In 2016, Pete was devastated to suddenly lose his adored French Bulldog Ernest at just three years old. His wolfpack was torn apart. Left to pick up the pieces with Eric, he realised that he knew very little about the breed and the reason why Ernie died so young. In honour of his old pal, Pete teamed up with animal charities and uncovered the shocking unregulated breeding and illegal importation that led to the life-threatening illness Ernest suffered from.
"And the problem is widespread. But if you want one of the best companion dogs you could ever own, a pup that is affectionate and playful (or some would say mischievous), then a French Bulldog is perfect for you.
"Here Pete reveals the many tips he’s learned for a happy life with a Frenchie, and how we can all help to eradicate the problems facing the breed. Most touchingly, for the first time he bravely recounts that love and grief we all feel for a special dog."
