Pete Wicks in talks to appear on Celebrity Big Brother

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ bosses are reportedly "determined" to sign Pete Wicks up for the next series of the game show.
The 28-year-old reality star is rumoured to be highly sought after by the Channel 5 programme’s production team who are desperate to get the tattooed hunk on board this summer’s show after he appeared on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
Speaking about the French Bulldog fanatic and his upcoming ventures, a source told The Sun Online: "’CBB’ are determined to get a big ‘Towie’ star this year, and Pete is the obvious choice as he’s had some huge storylines."
Pete was involved in a turbulent relationship with ex-girlfriend and co-star Megan McKenna on the recent season of the popular ITVBe programme, which saw them come to blows on numerous occasions before they agreed to go their separate ways but remain civil with one another.
The former hot-headed couple’s ongoing arguments throughout the series sparked more feuds with Pete and his fellow cast members including Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell and Tommy Mallett.
And it has been reported the opportunity to star in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, which is presented by Emma Willis, is believed to be the much needed "break" he needs.
The source said: "Pete has already said he needs a break from the show."
And it is rumoured the dark-haired television personality will be offered a "big money deal" if he was to agree to enter the house, which his previous partner appeared on in 2016, and sources believe it will be hard for Pete to decline.
The insider explained: "This is going to be a big money deal as it’s looking like a no-brainer.
"’Celebrity Big Brother’ launched Megan’s career so Pete knows it could take him to the next level and boost his profile, while giving him a much-need break from ‘Towie’ stress."
