Pete Davidson isn’t going to stop smoking marijuana.
The 24-year-old comedian – who is engaged to Ariana Grande – checked into rehab in rehab in 2016 and revealed that his sobriety only lasted three months because being sober "f***ing sucks".
During an interview with Howard Stern, he said: "There was no way I could stop.
"I was like somebody has to put me in a house where there is literally nothing, I had too much access….It wasn’t the weed. I was sober for three months at one point and was like, ‘This f***ing sucks."
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2017 and admitted that using the drug helps him to cope with his mental health issues.
The ‘Set It Up’ star also suffers from Crohn’s’ disease – a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract – and Pete believes that drug use helps him to cope with his condition.
He said: "I have Crohn’s disease, so it helps more than you can imagine. There was a point where I couldn’t get out of bed. I was 110 pounds."
"I also just love smoking weed….I’ve been smoking weed every day for eight years."
Meanwhile, Pete has been helping his fiance, Ariana, to "heal and mend" following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, after his apparent overdose earlier this month.
The pair decided not to attend the Primetime Emmy Awards last week and a representative for the pop star revealed it was because she wants to take some time out of the spotlight.
They said: "Contrary to reports, Ariana will not be attending the Emmys tonight.
"Pete has also opted to not attend to be with her in New York.
"Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend."
