Pete Davidson changes phone number to avoid Ariana Grande

Pete Davidson reportedly changed his number to avoid contact with former fiancée Ariana Grande in the wake of their split.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star and the 25-year-old singer went their separate ways earlier this month – just months after their June engagement which followed less than a month of dating – and it has now been claimed he’s "decided to focus on himself" rather than dwelling on the split, by changing his number and cutting ties with his former flame.
A source said: "He decided to focus on himself. He’s had the matching tattoo that he got with her changed."
The insider noted Pete changed his phone number to "distance himself," and another source added that "currently, they are not speaking."
Pete, 24, and the ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker called off their engagement on October 14, and it has been claimed that one of the reasons for their split was the mounting "pressure" Pete was feeling from being in the spotlight.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "This has been a difficult experience for Pete. He’s always been an extremely private person and the Ariana Grande spotlight and social media were a lot of new pressure for him."
Meanwhile, Pete recently spoke out about the break-up during a comedy show, where he likened the pain of split to being "kicked in the d**k".
He said: "[I feel like] a good guy that just keeps getting kicked in the d**k.
"It was like in a magazine like, ‘Was Pete Davidson stupid?’ And 93 percent of it said yes.
"So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that s**t man. They’re literally f***ing haters.’ And I’m like, yeah, f**k that. I’m not stupid.
"And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.’
"Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?"
