Peta Murgatroyd unsure about Dancing with the Stars future

Peta Murgatroyd is unsure about her future on ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
The 30-year-old beauty and her fellow dancing professional husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy tied the knot earlier this month and are just getting to grips with being first time parents to six-month-old son Shai Aleksander.
And despite competing with ‘The Bachelor’ star Nick Viall last season, which was aired on ABC after she gave birth, she doesn’t want to commit to the show if it means she is away from her little boy for long periods.
She said: "I don’t want to spend 10 hours away a day from my child, so those things factor into it for me. I’m a mom now and that comes first you know?"
And Peta doesn’t know if her 37-year-old spouse will return either.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "To be honest, we don’t know yet.
"We’re sort of waiting to hear things, waiting to see what our schedules are gonna be like, so, yeah, I mean stayed tuned."
The dancing champion says the best part of being a mother is watching her little bundle of joy grow and she says Shai is already close to standing on his own.
She said: "Seeing the little changes every single day. I mean he’s growing up so fast it’s exactly what people say it is. You know, you blink and then they’re one. You know so he’s nearly seven months now, and he’s standing up. He’s nearly walking by himself. It’s amazing. It’s an incredible journey to be on."
Peta previously revealed that having a baby changed her and Maksim’s life.
She said: "I don’t think you can stay the same person. think once you have a baby it changes your whole life, your whole world, in a good way. But there’s nothing sexier, there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing your man fall in love with your child even more every day. It’s the best.
"Half the time Maks and I were laughing, half the time we were staring at the monitor. Sometime during the night, my water broke. I pushed for 30 minutes and he was here!
"Suddenly my baby was on my chest. Maks and I were in shock for the first 30 seconds. Then Maks started to cry, and then I did too. Shai looked at me, took his first breath and just made a little noise. It was the best day of my life."
