Perrie Edwards has apologised to fans for missing Little Mix’s Las Vegas show after she was rushed to hospital.
The 24-year-old singer was taken to hospital over the weekend after falling ill with a "gastric problem", and has now posted a message to her fans on Twitter insisting that whilst she "wasn’t fit to perform" at the time, she is now "on the mend".
Posting the message on the official Little Mix Twitter account, Perrie wrote: "Hello beautiful babas… I’m out of hospital… in my own bed, and on the mend. Thanks to mother goose, nurse sam, and doctor hatchi I should be fine in no time. Sorry to have to let you all down, I obv would never want to miss anything but sometimes you have to listen to those who know best and I wasn’t fit to perform. Thank you to the lovely doctors and nurses at sunrise hospital in Vegas for looking after me!
"My babas I love you all to the moon and back, perrie <3 (sic)"
At the time, a spokesperson for the ‘Touch’ singers – who were due to perform at the Daytime Village 2017 Capital One event on Saturday (23.09.17) – said the star was suffering from a gastric problem, and confirmed she would not be able to perform.
The spokesperson said: "Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem.
"She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform."
The remaining members of the group, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, took to the stage as a three-piece without the blonde beauty.
