Patrick Dempsey wants to make another Bridget Jones movie

Patrick Dempsey wants to make another ‘Bridget Jones’ movie.
The 50-year-old actor stars as Jack Qwant in the new instalment in the franchise, ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ and he enjoyed making the movie – which stars Renee Zellweger as the titular character – so much he would be up for reprising his role.
Speaking at the world premiere of the movie in London on Monday night (05.09.16), he said: "It would be nice to see Bridget growing and living her life. There hasn’t been another character like that where you’re growing up with her."
The Hollywood heartthrob walked the red carpet with his entire family,
wife Jillian, and their children, daughter Tallula, 14, and nine-year-old twin sons Darby and Sullivan.
It was the first time Patrick had ever taken his children to a premiere and he was delighted to share his special evening with his kids, saying: "It’s great for them to come along and see what I do."
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Renee admitted she was "scared" to reprise her role for a third time because she really didn’t want to disappoint the fans of the franchise.
She said: "It was scary coming back. Especially since I love this character and didn’t want to disappoint anybody.
"I always feel a slight twinge of impostor syndrome when I go to work – it’s an ever-present sentiment for me that I’ll be thinking, ‘OK, this is the time I’m going to be discovered and fired’ – and after being away for so long, it was strong this time."
Other stars from the film to attend the glitzy event included Colin Firth, Emma Thompson and Sally Phillips.
