Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling split?

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have reportedly split up.
The duo, who began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of the movie, 'The Place Beyond the Pines' and have always been notoriously private about their romance, ended their relationship over Christmas because they wanted different things.
A source told InTouch magazine that the 39-year-old actress and the 33-year-old 'The Notebook' star are still on good terms.
The insider said: "They started having problems back in September. They decided to quietly call it off for good around Christmas. There is no ill will."
The heartthrob has retreated to his native Canada to get over their break-up.
A friend told Life & Style magazine: "Neither is rushing out to date other people right now. They just knew it was time.
"They knew it was time to take the next step and get married. But neither was sure they wanted that to happen.
"He packed up and moved back to Canada for a while. He felt like he needed time out of the limelight to refocus."
Ryan's desire to start a family and Eva's love of the spotlight drove the couple apart.
A source explained: "Eva loves Hollywood, the parties, the glamour, loves going out," and added Ryan is "introverted, very serious and a total homebody."
The 'Training Day' actress previously admitted she wasn't interested in becoming a mother.
She said: "I'm certainly not thinking about being a mom. I can't imagine it. I'm too selfish."
While Ryan said in the past he would love to be "making babies."
A spokesperson for the brunette beauty declined to comment.

Justin Long boosts Amanda Seyfried’s confidence

Amanda Seyfried credits Justin Long for making her feel more secure.
The 'Les Miserables' star started dating the 'He's Just Not That Into You' actor, 35, last summer and admitted she "can do no wrong" in his eyes.
Asked how she became more confident about her looks, the 28-year-old actress told the February issue of US InStyle magazine: "I met guys who weren't preoccupied with all that. You've got to find someone who makes you feel like you could gain 20 pounds and he'd still look at you the same. But as an actress it's easy to feel insecure."
The blonde beauty, who previously dated her 'Mamma Mia' co-star Dominic Cooper, revealed that Justin, who once romanced Drew Barrymore, has started raiding her cosmetics shelf and uses her night cream but he doesn't care whether she is covered in make-up or barefaced.
She said: "It's at the point where I can do no wrong, so it doesn't really matter."
Amanda recently admitted her ultimate dream is to settle down and have a family but isn't ready just yet.
She said: "Work is important, but it's nothing compared to love. Having children with the personal you love in wonderful. I want to be in that position in future, but don't quite feel ready yet."

Cher snubbed son’s wedding

Cher didn't attend her son's wedding.
The 67-year-old singer fell out with Elijah Blue - her son with rocker Gregg Allman - and his partner Marie-Angela King in October and has had no contact with them since, not attending their nuptials on December 1 or inviting them to spend Christmas with her.
Blue said: "I wasn't going to wait for anyone's approval and congratulations just like I've never waited for any of that my whole life. The way I eloped with my wife is the same way I've done everything I've ever done. I don't know any other way and we knew it was the right time.
"I've always been the black sheep of my family. The reason being we just have different value systems and we just have a different mentality and that clashes a lot. We have lots of ups and downs and right now isn't the best time.
"Had we been getting on a little bit better along maybe it would have been different.
"It's like a Mexican standoff, but we have a history of issues.
"Christmas is supposed to be about family and we'd just gotten married."
The 37-year-old former drug addict admitted his mother and his wife clashed frequently.
He told National Enquirer magazine: "You've got two strong women, two big bulls in the pen; I think there's a respect and I think they butt heads."
Though he says he was "very hurt" to be excluded from the Christmas celebrations, Blue - who moved out of his mother's home following the row - is hopeful they can reconcile.
However, an insider has warned the 'Believe' singer will need to make "major changes" for that to happen.
The source said: "Elijah and his wife are planning to have children and if Cher wants to have any part of her grandchildren's lives, she is going to have to make some major changes."

‘Boring’ Anna Faris and Chris Pratt

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt lead "boring lives".
The couple - who have 17-month-old son Jack together - love nothing more than spending time at home together and never get carried away by their fame.
The 37-year-old actress said: "A home-cooked meal, tinkering around our home, [sitting] around with the fireplace and a glass of wine.
"We really value our private time. Also, we have kind of boring lives."
Chris, 34, added: "Trying to remind each other to keep perspective and know that this is mostly temporary."
The couple insist they would be happy without any of the trappings of fame because they value the "simple" things in life.
The 'Lego Movie' actor told People: "Anna once told me that if I moved her into a trailer, she would still be happy. And I said, 'Well, honey, there's a good chance I'm going to do that, so ... ' "
His wife added: "We grew up 20 minutes away from each other north of Seattle in the country suburbs area. It's the simple things for us."

Selena Gomez blames Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez reportedly blames Justin Bieber for her problems.
The 21-year-old former Disney star checked into a rehab clinic for two weeks last month and she is said to think her on/off boyfriend - dubbed "that crazy boy" - is responsible for her problems because of the "excesses she was "exposed to by being around the 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker and his friends.
According to gossip website TMZ, Selena sought help for a combination of problems, including alcohol, marijuana and prescription drug Ambien.
The 'Come and Get It' singer now regards Justin as a "bad influence" on her life.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Selena came to understand just what a bad influence Justin had been on her life. Their relationship left her broken-hearted."
Another added: "I don't know whether Justin pushed her to drug use, but amongst their close knit group of friends, smoking was common place.
"Justin and Selena would smoke marijuana together regularly."
Following her completion of the two-week programme, Selena is not believed to be receiving outpatient help or in therapy.
The brunette beauty had been due to tour Australia this month but axed the shows in December in order to focus on herself.

Jenna Haze adds raunchy tone to Pretty Reckless record

Taylor Momsen recorded Jenna Haze having an orgasm for her album 'Going To Hell'.
The ex-porn star can be heard reaching a climax throughout the introduction to the song 'Follow Me Down', after she was called on by the former 'Gossip Girl' actress to provide a sexy addition to a record by her band The Pretty Reckless.
Taylor, 20, told Revolver magazine, "I don't want to give her personal life away away but... she super helped me out. She's one of my very close friends."
While Taylor admits that Jenna's moans sound convincing, she warned male fans that the adult entertainment star had faked the noises and they would be left disappointed if they attempted to track down footage to match the audio.
She added: "It's a performance... [that's] one of a kind, so don't go looking for that on the Internet."
Taylor and Jenna, 31, have been best friends for a long time and have often been involved in a string of sexy antics together.
In 2012 the pair posed topless for a photoshoot in FHM magazine, before Jenna treated Taylor to a lap dance and gave her a passionate kiss on stage during a The Pretty Reckless gig at the House of Blues in Los Angeles that same year.

Lorraine Kelly worried she’d ‘squash’ Queen Elizabeth

Lorraine Kelly was terrified she would "squash" Britain's Queen Elizabeth when she received her OBE.
The 'Daybreak' host received the honour in 2012 for services to charity and the armed forces and the only clear memory she has of the day she picked up her medal was worrying she would tumble out of her high heels and cause a disaster.
She said: "I have no idea what it was like or what was going through my mind because I was crying the entire time. I was sobbing my heart out!
"But I do remember being nervous because I was wearing these high heels and the queen is dead wee [small]. I thought I was going to accidentally topple over on top of her.
"I was convinced I was going to squash the queen! Can you imagine if that had happened? It would have been the most embarrassing thing ever."
The Scottish star's family were "bursting" when she received the honour because they were so proud of her, though they refused to admit it because it went against their nationalist beliefs.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine "They were bursting with pride but, because they're Scottish, they wouldn't show it - that would go against the grain."

Prince: Fans sharing music is cool

Prince says it's "cool" when fans share music.
The 'Purple Rain' hitmaker has scoffed at reports he filed a $22 million lawsuit against 22 internet users who allegedly posted recordings of his live performances online.
The 55-year-old musician insists he would never sue his own fans and is happy for them to share his songs as long as they are not doing so to make money.
Speaking at a press conference held at his friend Lianne La Havas' home to announce his upcoming London concerts on Tuesday (04.02.14), Prince told the BBC: "Nobody sues their fans. I have some bootlegs of Lianne but I wouldn't sell them. But fans sharing music with each other, that's cool ... But when you hear something [on bootleg] you're just hearing something that's not finished."
Prince - who is about to release a new album with his band 3RDEYEGIRL - also revealed he has a large number of unheard music in the vaults at his Paisley Park home and studio, and he owns the rights to old archive of recordings that he may release in future.
He said: "A song from 1985 might come out in 2021. I have a whole organisation who look after stuff."
Meanwhile, Prince surprised fans with a secret intimate gig in Camden, London, last night (04.02.14) to kick off his forthcoming 'Hit and Run' shows at "iconic venues" across the UK capital.
He appeared on stage shortly after 12.30am backed by 3RDEYEGIRL, comprised of guitarist Donna Grantis, bassist Ida Nielsen and drummer Hannah Ford Welton.

Kendrick Lamar wasn’t nervous meeting Dre

Kendrick Lamar wasn't nervous when he first met with Dr Dre.
The rappers worked together on Kendrick's 2012 album 'Good Kid, Maad City', with Dre appearing on the track 'Compton', but Kendrick didn't feel anxious before he came face-to-face with the music mogul.
Kendrick told i-d.vice.com: "I was very excited. I wasn't nervous at all. I was more excited, 'cause I knew that this was my shot, everything that l've worked for, everything I've built up to came down to that moment."
The 26-year-old rapper, who was nominated for a Grammy Award last month, has also been inspired by Dre's work outside of music, after he launched his own headphones line and Beats Music streaming service.
Kendrick said: "I [still] talk to him. At the moment he's just working on Beats by Dre. Doing a lot of promo and press for that, getting buried in life right now.
"You know when you conquer one thing, you want to move on to the next and be able to challenge yourself? He inspired me to want to do that, once I get the years behind me, of being exceptionally great at music."
And he thinks his songs prove he has more than just creative talent, adding: "My lyrics say that I have confidence, say I have weaknesses, say I have strong points, say I am a human being."

James Franco to open acting school?

James Franco is to open his own acting school.
The 35-year-old actor has teamed up with Playhouse West to launch Studio four at The Sherry Theater in Los Angeles, California, according to Deadline.com.
The 'Spring Breakers' star plans to run two classes every week, where he'll be accompanied by additional guests, and will teach different acting techniques and a number of projects.
The hunk - who has taught classes in filmmaking, movie production and screenwriting in the past - will watch his students put on performances and will create potential roles through the use of his production company Rabbit Bandini Productions.
Meanwhile, James is so invested in his various projects that he rarely has any time to sleep, but his hectic lifestyle eventually takes its toll and he "crashes" in inappropriate places.
He said previously: "I don't need sleep. And then you do enough of those [late nights] and you eventually crash - you know, odd places, on set, or in class, or wherever."
Despite juggling many different careers ranging from an actor, director, professor, PhD student and artist, James still has some unfulfilled ambitions to cross off his list - including the stage.
He added: "I love theatre. I'm actually supposed to act on Broadway in 'Of Mice and Men'. So I think that's gonna happen. [And] I'd like to write a play."

Tom Hiddleston joins High-Rise

Tom Hiddleston is to star in 'High-Rise'.
The 32-year-old actor has joined the cast in the movie adaptation of JG Ballard's 1975 novel, which is being directed by Ben Wheatley, after he landed the lead role.
Wheatley announced the news on his Twitter page and personal blog, writing: "HIGH RISE: Here we go. Cant quite believe this is happening. Tom Hiddleston! Jeremy Thomas! Script by Amy Jump (sic)."
The movie follows the lives of an affluent community which descends into chaos when it is cut off from society in a luxury block of flats.
Wheatley - who is currently filming an episode of 'Doctor Who' with Peter Capaldi - admitted last year he was a fan of Ballard, who died in 2009.
He said previously: "I love Ballard's work. This project started out with me looking at my bookcase, seeing the book, and thinking, 'That would make a great film'.
"The idea is to be true to Ballard. I was born in 1972, so one of the attractions of the film was that I kind of imagine myself as one of the kids running around on the estate and my parents as the adults."
Meanwhile, Hiddleston will next be seen alongside Tilda Swinton in Jim Jarmusch's vampire film, 'Only Lovers Left Alive.'
Filming for 'High-Rise' will kick off in June this year.
