A singing gypsy has auditioned for 'The Voice'.
Talia Smith has become the BBC One show's very first traveller to audition, impressing judges Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue, Ricky Wilson and will.i.am with her country-infused vocals.
The mum-of-three lives in caravan near Heathrow with her partner Billy and was due to audition with her friend Kelly Lee as part of singing duo Travellin Rose, before her pal pulled out at the last minute.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Talia is a bona fide traveller. She loves the life and doesn't care what anyone thinks about gypsies. She's been a professional singer for a few years and has a great voice. It's no surprise coach Tom Jones takes a bit of a fancy to her.
"She's genuine proof that the show is about including people from all walks of life. People focus on the former pop stars and the confident stage school types but there are so many different people on the show."
Meanwhile, 'The Voice' has landed its own spin-off show on BBC Two, which will be presented by Zoe Ball.
The half-hour programme will air at 6:30pm on weekdays from the time the live shows kick off until the final, giving viewers their fix of behind-the-scenes gossip, interviews and performances.
Zoe commented: "I'm super excited to be involved in 'The Voice'. Fans can think of me as the nosey, naughty one who can ask questions we all want answering by their favourite acts and, of course, Kylie, Tom, will.i.am and Ricky.
"I shall bring everyone a little closer to the action, and I promise not to sing!"
'Benefits Street's White Dee is set to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 42-year-old mother-of-two, who shot to fame on Channel 4's controversial documentary series about state benefit recipients, has been tipped to receive a £60,000 fee for the next series of the reality show.
The sum would mean Dee - full name Deidre Kelly - would no longer be eligible to receive government benefits.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Channel 5 bosses were desperate to sign up Dee. They think she will be brilliant.
"But the move is definitely a controversial one because anyone who is claiming benefits can only do so legally if they are not working. Dee will be earning money in one of the most public ways possible. So unless she stops collecting her benefits, her actions will interest the authorities.
"Her behaviour on 'Benefits Street' has made it very clear that she has a good knowledge of the welfare system and she will definitely know the rules."
Dee has previously declared she doesn't want to "be on benefits forever", but has vowed to stay put in her residence on the taxpayer-funded James Turner Street in Birmingham.
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "I'm still in my house and nobody will move me out of it."
Dee recently sparred with TV pundit Katie Hopkins on Channel 5's 'The Big Benefits Row Live'.
Fergie has praised Josh Duhamel as "dad of the year".
The Black Eyed Peas singer and her actor husband became parents to son Axl Jack last year and she says her spouse is very hands-on when it comes to caring for their little boy, who is now five months old.
Asked if Josh is a hands on dad, she said: "He's dad of the year, he's the best partner to have a kid with."
The 38-year-old singer loves being a parent and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her "homie".
Speaking on 'Extra', she said: "The best part of being a mom is just hanging out with my kid. He's my homie! I'm just listening, talking back with him and trying to teach him words like 'nose' and 'dancing'. Daddy is trying to teach him 'ball' and I'm trying to teach him 'dance'."
The couple have been happy to share photographs of Axl on social media and Fergie says they made the decision to do so as they want to be "normal" parents.
She explained: "We want to live our lives and love our son and be normal, proud parents that want to post pictures of their kids."
And the 'London Bridge' singer also teased she has been working on her musical return.
Asked when she is returning to work on new music, she said: "Who says I haven't been?"
Kim Kardashian is going to "miss" living at her mother's house.
The 33-year-old reality TV star has been staying at her mum Kris Jenner's home with her eight-month-old daughter North and her fiancé Kanye West while they wait for the renovations on their mansion to be completed, but she admits she will be sad when she has to leave.
A fan asked Kim on Mobio INsider: "Kim, you have enough money to rent a place, why aren't you living in place of your own?"
Kim replied: "I truly didnt think our house would take this long. But now I love living here. It has everything I could ever need, and I love spending all of this time with my mom and sisters.
"I will be definitely ready to go when our house is finally done but going to miss it too. Nothing better than the whole family seeing our daughter daily! (sic)".
The couple - who got engaged in October - were hoping to move into their new house at the end of last year but, after a few electrical glitches, their moving date has been pushed back until the summer.
It is believed the 36-year-old rapper and his beau have splashed out $1.154 million on six luxury beds for their new pad and have also spent a staggering $500,000 on gold-plated toilets.
The pair are also keen to have a cinema room and a full-sized basketball court attached to their property, which will be kitted out with Swarovski accessories.
Whitney Houston's former home is up for sale for $1.5 million.
The late singer - who died in February 2012 - had the New Jersey estate built 26 years ago for $2.7 million and the property, which is set on five acres, is now available at a cut price after being listed several times since her death.
Estate agent Gregory Taylor, who is selling the house - which is no longer owned by Whitney's estate - said: "It was on the market several times but there were some hiccups along the way.
"It was purchased from the estate and cleaned up. The current owner wishes to remain anonymous."
The realtor is unsure when Whitney sold the property, which was listed in 2009 for $2.5 million, and again in February 2011 priced the house at $1.75 million, though the latter listing was taken down in January 2012.
In the days after Whitney's death from accidental drowning caused by cocaine abuse and a heart condition, fans left floral tributes at the gates of the lavish five-bedroom property.
The house - which also boasts amenities including tennis court, walk-in closets, a six-car garage, pool, deck and pool house - was also the site of the troubled singer's wedding to Bobby Brown in 1992.
The property was reportedly inspired by Terminal C at Newark Liberty International Airport and includes many circular rooms, including a master bedroom with a circular bed and circular bath.
Meg Ryan always wanted to be a journalist.
The 52-year-old actress had a passion for writing as a teenager and only turned to acting as a way of paying her way through college.
She said: "My main aim, at 18, was to become a journalist. I only started acting - in commercials - to pay my way through college in New York."
The 'Sleepless in Seattle' star was "intimidated" by everyone around her when she started working and struggled to "understand" her co-stars.
She explained to The Sun newspaper: "I was 19 when I was in my first film, 'Rich And Famous'. I played Candice Bergen's daughter and only had about ten lines, which I would repeat constantly every night.
"When I travelled to Los Angeles, it was the first time I had ever been on a plane. I was intimidated by everyone in those days. If you ever see the film, you will see me shaking in every scene. I did not understand actors. It was overwhelming."
Despite her successful career, Meg - who has 21-year-old son Jack with ex-husband Dennis Quaid - admits she isn't always comfortable with fame and still struggles with rejection.
She said: "I've always had mixed feelings about fame. It means that you live out your worst moments in the public eye.
"I also learned that however successful you might be, you are always going to miss out on something.
"I took it badly whenever I got turned down for a role. Things either did not get sent to me or went to others first. Acting is like any other business -- you are judged with such abandon."
David Beckham is reportedly planning a big birthday bash for wife Victoria.
The retired soccer star is said to be organising a lavish 40th birthday party for his spouse - with whom he has 14-year-old Brooklyn, 11-year-old Romeo, eight-year-old Cruz and two-year-old Harper - in April, despite the designer asking for a more low-key celebration.
A source told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Victoria wants to celebrate in LA at Easter time with her family. She's not a big party girl, but there are rumours that David has different ideas and could be planning something. It's a big milestone, so he thinks it should be celebrated properly."
The Beckhams are said to be inviting over 100 guests to celebrate Victoria's milestone occasion, including chef Gordon Ramsay, 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria, actress Kate Beckinsale and interior designer Kelly Hoppen.
The family were rumoured to be buying a house in Miami when they move over to the US city for David to launch his own Major League Soccer club, but are only going to be renting a place since they don't see the move as permanent.
An insider told the magazine: "The family are going to have a base in Miami but have no plans to buy a house at the moment."

Paolo Nutini wants to be a carpenter.
The 27-year-old star - who is set to make a comeback with his third album 'Caustic Love' on April 14 - wants to explore joinery after taking inspiration from a man he saw as his grandfather when he was younger.
He explained: "The man I grew up to I think of as a grandfather on my mother's side, a man called Eddie, he was this old army hand, big white bushy moustache. He dealt in scrap, he was always down at the lost-and-found at the airport or prison, and I'd be the little kid tagging along, because he'd often look after me during the day ... He worked with wood, and made me this little rocking horse when I was young, called Rocky. I still have it.
"Whittling and carving wood is something I've always wanted to do, yet I've only dipped my toe in the water. I find it therapeutic ... I need to do that, go away and separate myself from things, get some education, some life, outside of a tour bus or a venue."
The 'Candy' singer fled back to his Scottish homeland four years ago when being in the spotlight became too much to bear and he admits he needed the hiatus to repair his relationship with his family and friends.
In an interview with Culture Magazine, he explained: "It's not like I've been making an album for three, four years. We toured the last record for a year and a bit, and I got to this point where I was only seeing my family and friends at gigs, I was miles away from home, my relationship was handing by a thread and I realised I was losing everything."
Enrique Iglesias and Kylie Minogue are locked in a battle to release their duet.
The Latin heartthrob and 'Into The Blue' singer have collaborated on the track 'Beautiful' but their labels Universal Republic and Parlophone are at war over when it will be released.
Enrique told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "I'm hoping the duet will be released as the next single but I know there's been a few problems between the record companies because she is on a different label.
"It's all politics. There was a moment when the record companies were fighting back and forth, but in the end Kylie and I spoke and we will make it happen."
The pair, who are both set to release new music this year, will shoot a video for the song in March.
Enrique, 38, said: "I'm a huge fan of Kylie. She's so sweet and she's been going for a long time but is as sexy as ever"
The star's new single 'I'm A Freak', featuring Pitbull, is out on March 16, while Kylie, 45, releases her single 'Into The Bull' on March 9.
Enrique also rubbished reports he got a car drive 20 metres after throwing a strip and insists he's not a diva.
He added: "That was such bull****. My manager told me to get a car because it was cold and there were photographers outside."
Jennifer Aniston has been cast in 'Cake'.
The 44-year-old actress stars as a woman who becomes intrigued by the death of someone in her support group, in a film which is being produced by Courtney Solomon in a $50 million collaboration between Chinese TV producer Shenghua Entertainment and After Dark Films, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Solomon said: "Our goal is to find great material and great talent and let them do what they do best and Shenghua has proven a great partner to make that happen.
"The formation of Cinelou Films DHJ, and this new venture with Shenghua is a unique pact which allows us to give great projects a chance to be made for the right reasons without many of the usual limitations put on indie films."
'Cake' is the first in a five movie production which will be directed by Daniel Barnz, and written by Patrick Tobin.
Aniston - who was catapulted to the spotlight in TV comedy 'Friends' - recently starred in 'We're the Millers' alongside Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter.
Idris Elba has been cast in 'Alive Alone'.
The 'Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom' actor will star as male lead Jamal alongside newcomer Sam Worthington in the thriller which is set to begin shooting in March, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Elba's arrival to the cast comes in the wake of Matthias Schoenaerts exit from the cast, after it was announced in Cannes he would star in the Thunder Road produced drama with Noomi Rapace - who will also executive produce the forthcoming film.
'Alive Alone' will mark the directing debut for Khurram Longi, who will helm his own script which featured in TV crime drama's 'The Black List' and the The UK's 'Brit List'.
Set in New York, Elba stars as an detainee of Guantanamo Bay working as a taxi driver while Noomi takes on the role of a prostitute on the run from a feared crime boss played by Worthington.
Meanwhile, Idris is eyeing a cameo in 'Girls' after he made an appeal to the show's creator and star Lena Dunham last month to write him a part on the popular programme.
He wrote on Twitter: "He tweeted:"@lenadunham Very funny woman. Can I come do a scene on your show? (sic)"
Although Lena is yet to agree to give the British actor a part on her show, she claimed it would be an "honour" to have him guest star.
