Chantelle Houghton says it's easy to pile on the pounds "without noticing".
The 30-year-old TV personality - who has 19-month-old daughter Dolly with ex-fiance Alex Reid - is delighted she has managed to shift her extra weight recently and is hoping to maintain her slim figure.
She told new! magazine: "I'm really proud of myself this week as I've pretty much reached the weight I was before I had Dolly.
"I won't lie, it was hard work at times, but I'm glad I did it. It's amazing what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.
"I'm not going to slip back into bad old habits. I'm also going to buy myself a couple of pairs of skinny jeans from Zara and make sure I stay in them. I've been living in leggings and it's so easy to put on a few pounds without noticing."
Chantelle is currently single and insists online dating is a great idea as you can get a "fairly good idea" about a person from their profiles.
She added: "I don't think there's anything wrong with online dating and Preston [her ex-husband who is on Tinder] won't be at all bothered about people knowing. I think it's a good idea as you could spend two hours chatting to someone in a bar, then at the end of the night find something out about them that makes you realise they're not for you. At least with online dating you can get a fairly good idea what they're like from their profile, so it can save a lot of time."

Bruce Jenner's daughters are "confused" by his current appearance.
The reality star has recently undergone a laryngeal shave to make his Adam's apple smaller and is sporting dyed hair with highlights and longer nails, and his daughters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 16, with estranged wife Kris Jenner don't understand the new look.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Kylie and Kendall just don't know what to think. It's extremely confusing for them to grasp. There is just no denying Bruce's recent physical changes, and he does look more feminine.
"It's been especially hard for 16-year-old Kylie because some of her friends have made jokes about Bruce's looks."
Kris has denied Bruce - who lives in Malibu, California, away from the family home in Calabasas - is undergoing a sex change and he has said he only had the throat operation because he didn't like the way his Adam's apple looked.
The source added: "Kris always encouraged Bruce to have his face nipped and tucked. He has had plastic surgery to remove excess fat above his eyelids. The Adam's apple surgery is just following in that pattern."
The decision by Bruce, 64, to move out last year has been especially hard on Kendall and Kylie as he had always been there for them in the daytime, while Kris was concentrating on the careers of their half sisters, Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
The source added: "They have always been closer to their dad because Kris had been busy for so many years with their older half-sisters. It was always Bruce driving the girls to and from school.
"He wants to spend time with them, but it's hard for them to get all the way over Malibu where he is living. Plus, they would much rather be with their friends, which is typical for teenagers. Still, they miss their dad."

Samuel L. Jackson slammed a news anchor for confusing him with Laurence Fishburne.
The star had appeared on California's KTLA news channel to talk about his latest movie, 'Robocop', but was astounded when he was asked by Sam Rubin about his appearance in a Super Bowl commercial.
He responded: "What Super Bowl commercial? You're as crazy as the people on Twitter. I'm not Laurence Fishburne.
"We don't all look alike. We may be all black and famous, but we don't all look alike."
Sam apologised profusely and tried to steer the conversation back to the movie, but Samuel was not impressed.
Speaking about his appearing in a credit card advert, he added: "There's more than one black guy doing commercials. I'm the 'What's in your wallet?' black guy. [Fishburne's] the car black guy. Morgan Freeman is the other credit card black guy. You only hear his voice though, so you probably won't confuse him with Laurence Fishburne.
"I've [also] actually never done a McDonald's or Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial. I know that's surprising."
Sam later issued a formal apology to the actor and admitted his embarrassment, but claimed he had actually been referring to a 'Captain America' commercial which also aired during the Super Bowl and did include Samuel.
He said: "I pride myself on the fact - that unlike a lot of people who do this kind of work - more often than not, I really do know what I'm talking about. But I didn't 30 minutes ago, and I'm really embarrassed about it, and I very much apologise to Samuel L. Jackson and anyone else who was offended for what was a very amateur mistake."

Julia Roberts' half-sister has died of an apparent overdose.
Nancy Motes was found in a bathtub yesterday (09.02.14) in what is believed to be a suicide.
The family have issued a statement about the loss, saying: "It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes ... confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose. The family is both shocked and devastated."
Nancy, 37, was the daughter of Roberts' mother Betty Lou and stepfather Michael Motes. She was also aunt to 'American Horror Story' actress Emma Roberts. She had been working as a professional dog walker and pet-sitter at the time of her passing.
Julia skipped an Academy Awards luncheon in Beverly Hills - which she was due to attend to promote 'August: Osage County' - to grieve her loss yesterday (09.02.14).
Craig R. Harvey, chief coroner of investigations for Los Angeles County, told The New York Daily News: "The decedent was found in a bathtub that contained water. There were prescription and non-prescription drugs found at the scene. The role the drugs may or may not have played is not yet known."
An autopsy is planned for today and additional toxicology tests have been ordered to find the cause of death.
Speaking of her relationship with her famous half-sister, Nancy said last year: "I think we're both trying to change our opinions of each other. It's a work in progress. It's not going to be fixed overnight."
Nancy had struggled with her weight, and underwent gastric bypass surgery in June 2010, and had said Julia, 46, used to tease her about it.
She explained: "When I was in high school and she was an adult, she would just let me know that I was definitely overweight. It just makes me feel incredibly hurt and very sad."

Courtney Love says her addictions are "the size of the Incredible Hulk"
The Hole singer has previously battled drug addiction and even though she has been sober for almost ten years, is constantly aware of how bad things could be if she relapsed, comparing her addictions to the huge, powerful green comic book character.
She said: "I've been clean and sober since 2005. Those of us that are addicts, you know, it's like, I do all this spiritual hygiene, I chant and do yoga and stuff like that, but out in the parking lot, there is my addiction doing sit-ups the size of the Incredible Hulk.
"And any time I let that in, that could be me or any one of my friends."
Courtney, 49, was also saddened by the recent death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman from an apparent heroin overdose.
She told to AccessHollywood.com: "I just cried and cried. One of my best friends is his best friend and I really liked him ... I mean, it's just so bad."
Courtney also said she's been repairing her shaky relationship with Frances, her daughter with late rocker Kurt Cobain, who was also a heroin addict at the time of his death in 1994.
Asked about how things are with the 21-year-old, she said: "It's fantastic. It's one of the reasons that I'm moving back here [to Los Angeles], so I'm close to her. She's in a really good space."
She also blamed their past fallouts on Frances' legal team, adding: "She has a trust fund, trust funds attract lawyers, and lawyers attract problems and that's just reality."

Lea Michele is releasing a song in tribute to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.
The 'Glee' actress sings about her co-star - who died of a drugs overdose last July - in the emotionally charged ballad 'You're Mine', which is dedicated to the actor, and was a late addition to her forthcoming debut album, 'Louder', written in the wake of his passing.
She tweeted this morning (10.02.14): "My next IG track #YOUREMINE (available tomorrow) is my favorite song on #LOUDER. It's so special to me & it's story is so close to my heart. (sic)"
Lea, 27, also posted pictures with some of the lyrics to the track, which includes the lines: "I told you all my dreams and fears / and you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears.
"And you said those three words I've been waiting for / you became a part of me."
Lea has also said she feels her bond with Cory has helped give her strength to start her solo music career.
She told Teen Vogue magazine: "I somehow feel the insane love Cory and I had for each other morphed into this strength that I have right now.
"There's just something about knowing he's watching everything I'm doing and feeling like I have to do everything now not just for me but for him."
When asked about which track on 'Louder' would be Cory's favourite, she replied: "He loved 'Battlefield'. I'm getting chills thinking about it. I would say 'Burn with You' was his favourite. He came into the studio that day."

Lupita Nyong'o was "blissfully ignorant" of what a huge star '12 Years A Slave' would make her.
The Kenyan actress has gone from being virtually unknown to an Oscar nominee in the last few months, and is still trying to get her head around what being a star means.
She told New York magazine: "I've been in a bubble. I haven't been out much. I haven't gotten used to being recognised. I was blissfully ignorant of the magnitude of the project I was in or what it was going to mean for the world."
Lupita, 30, moved to Hampshire College in Massachusetts to study film and coming to live in the US after being raised in Kenya was a culture shock.
She added: "I thrive on structure. I find my freedom in structure. It was very hard to adjust to an individualistic and very liberal system. I mean, my upbringing, I would iron my clothes every night. I would plan what I wore the night before, and then I would iron it. That's just the way my mom raised us. Then I got to Hampshire, where clothing is sometimes optional and all this kind of thing. I was mortified."
Lupita - who is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category at this year's Oscars for her role in '12 Years A Slave' - also talked about the moment she was told by director Steve McQueen she had won the role, after going for dinner with him.
She said: "I wanted to bask in the sun and take in the last 24 hours, wrap my head around what had just happened. I sat on the pavement, immediately terrified and intimidated by the entire thing."

Reese Witherspoon's parents banned her from moving to Hollywood because it is "where crazy people live".
The 'Walk the Line' star first started acting in Tennessee when she was 12 and quickly found herself getting cast in more and more parts, but her parents - who are both medical professionals - were wary of her pursuing it as a career while she was still a teenager.
Speaking at a Young Women's Conference held at Brentwood School in Los Angeles this weekend, she said: "I started doing commercials when I was 12. One day there was an advert in the paper that said, 'Do you want to be in a movie?' I was like, 'Heck yeah I want to be in a movie!' I grew up in Nashville, they're not making a lot of movies there.
"My dad's a doctor and my mom is a professor of pediatric nursing. So I thought I was going to be a doctor. I was sure I was going to be. And then the universe just showed me this different possibility. Thank God my parents did this, but they told me I had to stay in school. I was allowed to work in the summers but I couldn't work in the school year. They said, 'You're not moving to California, that's where crazy people live'."
Oscar winner Reese, now 37, started to go to university in Stanford, North California, but was getting so many movie roles she quit to act full time.
She added: "I was flying down every weekend from Stanford to Los Angeles to read my lines in auditions. And that's sort of been my life. I haven't had a lot of plans."

Channing Tatum has started work on 'Magic Mike 2'.
The hunky actor announced he is working on the script for a sequel to his male stripper drama - loosely based on his own past - by posting a picture of him staring thoughtfully at a bust of his co-star from the original, Matthew McConaughey.
Referencing Matthew's character, he wrote underneath the picture: "What better way to start writing #MagicMike2 than with my old friend Dallas? #runatribe (sic)"
The first 'Magic Mike' movie had a surprisingly dark plot, but Channing claims the sequel will be more light-hearted.
He said: "It will essentially be the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be: crazy and fun and less slice-of-life and less drama. The first one, we had to make not so cheesy and campy; this one we are going to swing for the fences."
Channing, 33, is also considering directing as well as starring in the movie, which would make it his debut feature.
He is also working on developing the film into a Broadway musical, which was announced last year.
Reid Carolin, who is helping write the new script, and was also co-producer of 'Magic Mike' said: "We are working on it as a Broadway show, which would be a different story. More of a romp, more of a fun night out at a club with a story."

Matthew McConaughey lost weight until people worried he was ill for 'Dallas Buyer's Club'.
The actor shed 47lbs for his part as AIDS patient Ron Woodroof in the drama - which has gained him his first Best Actor Oscar nomination - and was quietly gauging people's reaction as he lost so much weight.
He told CBS news: "I think that adds up to [losing], like, three-and-a-half pounds a week.
"That's what I needed to do. That's where Ron was. I was measuring myself and also quietly measuring other people's reactions. And it went from, 'Oh, you're losing weight,' to, 'Oh, man, you look really skinny.
"And then it got to a point that people are like, 'Oh my God, are you OK?' And that's just what I needed to be for Ron."
Matthew's career has changed dramatically over the last few years, with him transitioning from a go-to actor for romantic comedy leads, to a number of striking, dark roles in films such as 'Mud' and 'Killer Joe', and he says as soon as he stopped worrying about how his movies came out, he started to gain recognition for them.
He added: "I un-branded, I think is the best way I could say it, I've been choosing the experience, and I've been loving the experience of it. And I've noticed if I stick to the process and love the process and what I'm doing, head down, but not thinking about results - I really haven't been thinking about results for some time - it's interesting, because now more results are coming my way."

Bruno Mars says you don't need a fragrance to be a star.
The 'Locked Out of Heaven' singer performed during the Super Bowl Half Time Show at the beginning of this month - one of the most watched TV moments of the year in the US - and is proud he achieved it without putting his name to an aftershave, which it has been suggested is a benchmark for stardom, after successful perfumes from stars including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Beyonce.
Speaking to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, he said: "Listen, any young, aspiring musicians out there, if music is what you want to do, if music is what you love and your passion. It doesn't take a fragrance, its not about the tabloids, it's about you putting in the work, practicing everyday, practicing your vocals, practicing your instrument, practicing songwriting.
"Hopefully one day you write the song the whole world wants to get down to and I promise you, I promise you one day you're going to have your moment to shine."
Bruno, 28, also acknowledged his headline slot - which included him being joined by The Red Hot Chili Peppers for a rendition of their hit 'Give It Away' - came at the start of his career, but he was eager to seize the opportunity.
He added: "I know it was early; it's very early in my career. I've only got two albums so I don't have the legacy or anything like that, but you don't know you know tomorrow's not promised, so I had to go for it."

Liam Hemsworth has been spotted on a date with Nina Dobrev.
'The Hunger Games' star Liam - who split from fiancé Miley Cyrus last year - was in the Corner Tavern in Atlanta, US, on Friday (07.02.14) with 'The Vampire Diaries' actress and an eyewitness says they even ended their night with a "sensual" kiss.
Jahti Anderson told Celebuzz.com: "They stayed around two to three hours and Nina left before Liam, and as she was leaving they gave each other a good night kiss... [and] she ran off into a car service with her friend.
"The kisses were on the lips publicly outside of the bar ... and it was three sensual kisses on the lips. They stuck together pretty much the whole time, but I think Nina got sick of pictures [with fans] because Liam was the highlight, so to speak."
While they were with other friends and happily posed for pictures separately, Jahti claims they acted like they were on a date.
She added: "They were there together and were with a couple other friends.
"They were having a great time. They were definitely acting couple-y. They were drinking beers and mostly standing and talking near the bar."
Liam, 24, is in Atlanta filming 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay', while Nina, 25, is working on the latest episodes of 'The Vampire Diaries' in the same city.
Liam dated Miley for three years before getting engaged in June 2012, but called it off last September. Miley, now 21, later said she "wouldn't change" having been engaged, but thought she was too young to get married at the time.
Nina previously dated her 'The Vampire Diaries' co-star Ian Somerhalder for three years, but they split in May 2013.
