Lindsay Lohan cuts ties with bad influences

Lindsay Lohan has cut off contact with bad influences to focus on her new film.
The 27-year-old actress has landed herself an acting and producing role in new psychological thriller 'Inconceivable' and her father, Michael Lohan, says she's cutting ties with all the bad influences in her life so that she can really focus on making the film a success.
He told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "She [Lindsay] has Randell Emmett, who produced 'Lone Survivor' and 'Broken City', helping her. She's cut the bad friends out of her life and is taking this seriously."
'The Canyons' actress has recently finished filming an eight-part series for Oprah Winfrey's OWN network and it's said to be an "honest, no-holds-barred account" of her attempt to rebuild her life and movie career after a series of struggles with substance abuse and legal troubles.
Lindsay agreed to the documentary series after completing a stint in rehab last august and is believed to have been paid $2 million for the series, despite not always showing up for scheduled filming.
A source on the 'Lindsay' production team said previously: "She never does what she says she is going to do. She cancels all the time and is highly erratic."
Shooting for 'Inconceivable' is set to begin next month, although no co-stars or directors have been announced so far.

Michael Jackson Estate wants abuse allegation dismissed

Michael Jackson's Estate have asked for an abuse allegation against the late singer to be dismissed.
Choreographer Wade Robson - who testified to defend the 'Thriller' singer when he was accused of molestation in 2005 - has alleged in a creditor's claim he was abused by the King of Pop for a seven-year period from the age of seven, but the Estate have asked a Los Angeles judge to reject his allegations because he waited too long to file.
The Estate's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, says in order to pursue a claim, Wade should have filed his case within 60 days of learning the Estate was in probate court in 2009 - and there was no way he wouldn't have known because it made worldwide news.
However, the choreographer claims he delayed filing his allegations against the star - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - because of a repressed memory and only remembered after suffering two "breakdowns" which led to him seeking therapy.
In their argument against the claim, the Estate have pointed out that Wade gave a deposition in a guardianship dispute over Michael's children Prince, now 16, Paris, 15, and 11-year-old Blanket, in which he admitted he was "aware that John Branca and John McClain were co-Executors of Michael's estate and understood they were running the Estate's 'entertainment business'."
In addition, Wade was contacted by Cirque du Soleil in 2011 to work on 'Immortal', a show themed around Michael, and according to the court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, he "wanted to do this MJ show badly."
A judge has yet to rule on whether the claim can go ahead.

Prince secretly dating Delilah

Prince has been on a string of secret dates with Delilah.
The 'Purple Rain' singer is reportedly "smitten" with the 23-year-old British singer and the pair have been spending more time together in recent months.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Delilah is talented and gorgeous and it's little wonder Prince is so smitten with her. They have always been close but things have moved on recently."
Delilah was spotted among a host of stars to who watched Prince perform with is band 3RDEYEGIRL at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in London on Monday night (17.02.14), but a representative for the 'Raspberry Beret' hitmaker insists there is no romance between the pair and Delilah is close with all members of the band.
A spokesman for Prince, 55, added: "Delilah is a friend of everyone in the band and everyone loves spending time with her."
Prince - who has been divorced twice - met Delilah after discovering a video she shared on YouTube, and the pair reportedly grew close when he invited her to support him on tour in Australia two years ago.
Delilah - real name Paloma Stoeker - first spoke about her friendship with the star in 2012.
She said: "Prince called and said he was a fan of my work and invited me on tour. It was amazing."
Describing the iconic singer as "perfectly down to earth" she added: "We hung out together. He's a lovely person and we get along."

Anne Hathaway to present Oscar award

Anne Hathaway is to present an Oscar at the Academy Awards.
The 31-year-old actress - who co-hosted the ceremony with James Franco in 2011 - will take to the stage on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to hand out a prize.
The brunette beauty won the Best Supporting Actress award last year for her role as Fantine in Tom Hooper's 'Les Misérables' and was also nominated for Best Actress for her leading role in 'Rachel Getting Married' in 2008.
Hathaway will join Daniel Day-Lewis and Jennifer Lawrence at the glamorous ceremony, which is being hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, as they will also hand out an honourable award.
Day-Lewis took home the third Oscar of his career last year for his performance as President Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln', making him the first person ever to win the Best Actor award three times in the history of the Academy.
He also won the prize for 2007's 'There Will Be Blood' and 1989's 'My Left Foot', and has been nominated for his part in 'Gangs of New York' and 'In the Name of the Father' in previous years too.
Meanwhile, Laurence - who won an Oscar for widow Tiffany Maxwell in David O.Russell's 'Silver Linings Playbook' in 2013 - has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for 'American Hustle' at the forthcoming 86th Academy Awards.
'American Hustle' and 'Gravity' are currently in the lead at this year's Oscars with ten nominations each, while '12 Years A Slave' follows closely behind with nine.

Ellie Goulding: I’m a ‘professional’ at not winning awards

Ellie Goulding believes she's a "professional" at not winning awards.
The 27-year-old singer is hoping to secure the Best Female, Best Single and Best Video prize at the Brit Awards tonight (19.02.14), but she admits she won't be surprised if she doesn't win.
She said: "I'm definitely a professional at dealing with not winning.
"I've been to a lot of awards now where I haven't won. Who knows if I'll win at the Brits. Fingers crossed, but if I don't I won't be surprised. I have learnt not to get my hopes up."
The 'Burn' hitmaker has added pressure tonight as she's been booked to perform at the event, held at the O2 Arena in London, but she insists she's going to "embrace" the opportunity.
She explained: "I've wanted so badly to perform at the Brits so I'm just gonna embrace it and enjoy it.
"It's going to be nerve-racking but I'm just going to give it my everything.
"It's been fun to plan the performance and it's been fun to go a bit further and push it a little bit.
"I've been on the O2 Arena stage before and I've got used to playing big shows because I've supported Bruno Mars and Katy Perry."
Although, if the blonde beauty does get struck with nerves, she'll have the 'Dark Horse' hitmaker and her friend Taylor Swift close by.
She told The Sun newspaper: "Taylor Swift will be there and Katy Perry's performing. Her crew and mine get on, so that will be nice backstage."

Alan Davies’ marriage inspires Creek role

Alan Davies' marriage inspired the new series of 'Jonathan Creek'.
The crime-solving drama will return for a new series on BBC One this week and Alan - who married children's book author Katie Maskell in 2007 - says art may have imitated life as his titular detective is married in the latest episodes.
He said: "The fact he's married may be tied to the fact that I'm married. It always said something about Creek that he'd be completely withdrawn from society and other people. Now it says something about him that he's re-entered the atmosphere and is able to sustain a relationship. You couldn't just leave him in the windmill for ever, making up tricks."
Meanwhile, Alan - who first began playing Jonathan Creek 17 years ago - insists he isn't worried about the show competing against 'Sherlock', BBC's hit modern day interpretation of Sherlock Holmes.
He explained: "[Writer] David Renwick is the world's biggest Sherlock Holmes fan - though probably more the original [Arthur] Conan Doyle version - but he'll never pander to whatever is in vogue.
"He won't watch 'Sherlock' and think, 'Oh, that's the kind of thing they want now, where it's all fast-paced and groovy and everyone's good-looking, so we'd better make Creek like that.' He'd rather think, 'Right, what are they doing this year? We can take the piss out of that and be back again next year.' "

Sam Faiers: Ollie Locke is a ‘friend for life’

Sam Faiers insists there are no romantic feelings between her and Ollie Locke.
'The Only Way Is Essex' star has spoken about the budding romance that started in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house in January this year, saying she and the former 'Made in Chelsea' hunk are now just friends.
Quizzed whether she would invite Ollie to her sister Billie Faiers' wedding as her date, Sam told Britain's OK! magazine: "I very much doubt Ollie will be my plus one. I see him more as a friend for life. I would like a plus one for the wedding, though."
Sam was seen getting cosy with the 'Made in Chelsea' star inside the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house, with Ollie admitting he has a "slightly inappropriate crush" on her.
The two have yet to confirm they are in a relationship after the series ended, with Sam revealing they "haven't really spoken about it yet".
Sam also slammed rumours Ollie had cheated on her.
The reality star said: "How random was that story?! Ollie and I haven't even kissed. We were close in the house and that's it."
Although Ollie looked smitten with the 'TOWIE' star on the Channel 5 reality show, Sam, 23, insists that there is no romance blooming between them.
She revealed: "We both have a soft spot for each other but we aren't more than friends."

Kelly Brook ‘hurt and humiliated’ by fame-hungry lover

Kelly Brook felt "hurt and humiliated" by her fame-hungry boyfriend.
The 34-year-old star has accused her now ex-beau David McIntosh - who appeared as Tornado on the UK TV game show 'Gladiators' in 2008 - of "stabbing her in the back" after he alerted photographers of their whereabouts while the pair enjoyed a romantic holiday in the US.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kelly thinks David has been using her. She felt hurt and humiliated when she began to realise he was more interested in fame than he was in her.
"He was desperate to be in the papers and she kicked him out as soon as she realised that.
"She immediately deleted any evidence of them being together on her online profiles."
The busty brunette called time on their 45-day relationship earlier this week and has since been trying to get back in touch with her ex-boyfriend Thom Evans, 28 - whom she dated for two years until 2013 - but he's set to snub her as he's trying to rekindle his romance with his ex-girlfriend Jessica Lowndes.
The source explained: "She has attempted to speak to him [Thom] and meet up for dinner as they are both in the US.
"But he's trying to get back with Jessica Lowndes, the '90210' actress, and so is unlikely to meet Kelly."
Kelly and David, 27, struck up a romance last month after meeting each other at a New Year's Eve party at her bar, the Steam and Rye, in London.
It is believed the former Royal Marines commando is Kelly's first boyfriend since she ended her seven-month relationship with Danny Cipriani, whom she had been in an on/off relationship with since 2008, last August after he allegedly cheated on her.

The 27-year-old actress and her husband Mark Webber, 33, welcomed their first child into the world on Monday (17.02.14) and have named him Bodhi Rain Palmer.
The couple chose to give the tiny tot Teresa's surname as Mark's five-year-old son Isaac- whom he has from a previous relationship - didn't take on the his last name either.
The 'Warm Bodies' star took to her Instagram account last night (18.02.14) to share the happy news with her fans.
She wrote: "Thank you God for blessing us with the most divine gift of our baby son. Introducing Bodhi Rain Palmer born safely, lovingly and naturally last night. 8lbs even. Bodhi means "Enlightened one" Rain means "Abundant Blessings From Above" and we chose Palmer as his last name as Marks son Isaac didn't take his dads name either. Thanks for all the blessings and love everyone (sic)."
The pair first started dating in September 2012 and got married in December 2013 in Mexico, just three months after announcing their engagement and that they were expecting a child together.
Earlier this month, Teresa and Mark tied the knot again, this time legally, but in a Christian ceremony in California.

Jessica Brown Findlay flew her mum to US for new film

Jessica Brown Findlay flew her mum and childhood pal to America when she was filming 'A New York Winter's Tale'.
The former 'Downton Abbey' star - who was raised in Berkshire, south east England - makes her big screen debut in the forthcoming supernatural drama, alongside Hollywood hunk Colin Farrell, and she couldn't believe her luck when she found herself working on the film in the Big Apple.
The 24-year-old beauty said: "You're in a city that's just fantastic. I brought my mum over to visit me when I was filming and one of my best friends that I've known since I was nine. We grew up in the same village and we were running around New York together saying, 'How are we here?' It was fantastic and really fun."
Findlay didn't think she would get the role when she first auditioned for Beverly Penn, a dying girl who has tuberculosis, but was delighted when she learned she was cast.
She added: "Then, very quickly, I went to L.A. for the screen test, which was nerve-wracking. I just decided to have fun because I thought that there wouldn't really be any chance that I'd end up getting the role. But then I did.
"It was quite simple, but it was wonderful. I suppose sometimes you overthink things and maybe when you think you have no chance is when you're probably freer to do what you want to do."

Marcus Mumford tells people band have split

Marcus Mumford loves telling people his band have split up.
The Mumford And Sons frontman is enjoying a well-earned break from music and claims people keep asking him if the band have broken up, which he doesn't deny.
He told radio station XFM: "It's been quite nice just to have a few months to chill out.
"Everyone keeps asking if we've broken up as a band, which I love ... So I keep saying 'yes', and then we can have a big come back tour next year."
While Marcus and band mates Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane are only on a break, he admits there is one member of the group who has been involved in a band split in the past.
Marcus, 27, said: "Winston went to Nashville and set up a band, played six gigs, recorded a live show and then they broke up, citing artistic differences at the end of the night - after playing six gigs in one night.
"Apparently they were rubbish. Apparently they were genuinely rubbish. But they're really proud of it, because they love that kind of thing."
Last year saw the second installment of Mumford and Sons' 'Gentlemen of the Road' stopover tour - a series of mini-festivals put on by the band.
Marcus quipped: "It's loads more work, much less money and really inconvenient. Our three favourite things", adding: "It was brilliant, it's really fun to get to do something completely on our own and basically we just wanted to get all our favourite bands together in one spot."

Jessica Simpson will marry ‘soon enough’

Jessica Simpson has set a date for her wedding.
The 33-year-old star, who has 21-month-old daughter Maxwell and seven-month-old son Ace with her fiancé Eric Johnson, revealed they are planning to walk down the aisle "soon enough."
The blonde beauty, who previously insisted she would definitely be getting married this year, told ABC's 'Good Morning America' on Tuesday (18.02.14): "Yes, we're planning a wedding. Since I was on GMA last I have a date, I'm super excited."
Asked to hint when it would be, she added: "Nah, nah. It'll be soon enough!"
The 'With You' hitmaker is eager to get her singing career back on track once she ties the knot.
She said: "I wanna sing again. I want my daughter to see me onstage. My fiancé has never even watched me perform. Which is crazy. That's my passion, that's my love, that's everything that I am."
The Weight Watchers spokesperson, who lost 50 pounds following her first pregnancy, admitted her weight affected her confidence.
She said: "I was so insecure. I couldn't even believe what I weighed. I don't think that I ever expected myself to see the numbers that I have see n on the scale."
But Jessica was determined not to be upset about gaining weight during her second pregnancy.
She explained: "It was hard to suppress it. I knew that I would be gaining back the weight so I didn't really think about it that much. I went on walks and I worked out throughout my second pregnancy."
