Chris Brown extends rehab stay

Chris Brown is extending his stay in rehab.
The 'Fine China' singer recently completed his court-ordered 90 days in a treatment facility in a bid to overcome his anger management issues but has decided to stay there for further treatment.
A source close to the 24-year-old singer told E! News: "It was his choice. He will come out soon."
The star voluntarily checked himself into rehab in Malibu, California in October after being accused of assaulting Parker Adams, who is suing the singer and his bodyguard for $3 million, in Washington D.C., but he was kicked out after throwing a rock through his mother Joyce's car window.
The R&B singer was then ordered to seek anger management at a different facility instead of being sentenced to jail when his probation, stemming from his violent assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, was formally revoked as a result of the alleged assault.
Chris and his bodyguard's criminal trials are set to begin on April 17.
The 'Forever' hitmaker has been granted permission to leave rehab to attend several events recently, including a celebration to honour his work with LA community group 2nd Call and his Symphonic Love Foundation and Unity Campaign on Friday night (21.02.14).
A source said he stayed for more than two hours, appeared to be in "good spirits" and warmly greeted people who came to his table.

Jake Gyllenhaal reunites with Alyssa Miller

Jake Gyllenhaal and Alyssa Miller are back together.
The 'End of Watch' star, 33, ended his six-month relationship with the 24-year-old model in December after they struggled to cope with him relocating to Los Angeles from New York to shoot his upcoming film 'Nightcrawler,' but they really missed each other.
A source told UsMagazine.com: "It has been less than two weeks so it is new again."
The couple were in regular contact throughout their time apart, and another insider said: "They were still talking during the break. When he was done with 'Nightcrawler' he was spending a lot of time by himself and with his family over the holidays and he missed her."
Jake pulled the plug on his romance with the Sports Illustrated beauty before Christmas, as they could no longer handle having a long distance relationship.
A source previously said said: "(Jake) was very taken with [Miller], but I think their work definitely drew them apart. I know people are bummed, because many thought he had a chance this time."
The couple first started dating in June after they met at their gym in New York.
The 'Brokeback Mountain' actor has dated a slew of fellow A-list stars in the past including Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst, Minka Kelly and singer Taylor Swift.

Billy Bob Thornton never wanted to be an actor

Billy Bob Thornton didn't want to be an actor.
The 'Monsters Ball' star has been acting for four decades now and has appeared alongside fellow actors including Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck in films such as 'Armageddon' but claims he never dreamed of becoming an actor when he was child, but rather inspired to be a musician or a sportsman.
He told Total Film magazine: "I didn't want to become an actor, I didn't know anything about it. I wanted to be in a rock'n'roll band, I wanted to pitch for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. I was a baseball player and a musician; that's all I ever wanted."
The 58-year-old actor who has been married five times - including a two-year marriage to his 'Pushing Tin' co-star Angelina Jolie - also admitted that he first got into acting so he could meet women.
He added: "I was only in the drama class because there were a lot of chicks in there!"
Thornton - who is originally from Arkansas in the southern United States - also spoke about an acting class he took when he was younger and said the teachers predicted he would be successful.
He said: "In 1980, we went to California, and I got in an acting class there and the acting teacher told me the same thing that my drama teacher had told me in the 12th grade. He said, "I really believe you're going to be standing on the stage with a statue in your hand one day.'"

Nina Nesbitt ‘feels sorry’ for ‘nasty’ online trolls

Nina Nesbitt "feels sorry" for horrible online trolls with nothing better to do.
The 'Selfies' singer admitted she has had her fair share of abuse on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook, but insisted it tables can be turned quickly if you have "a good comeback".
She told BANG Showbiz: "I've had a few trolls in my internet time. Sometimes if I'm in a bad mood I'll reply sarcastically, other times I just think they want attention and I won't reply.
"Generally when people are being horrible, they're just being horrible because they want attention, I just feel sorry for people who spend their time sending online abuse to people who are doing what they love.
"I think everyone has got an opinion and that's fine, and everyone can voice their opinion but someone is downright nasty about it there's just not really any point getting involved it. Sometimes if you come back with a good comeback that can be good."
The 19-year-old songstress insisted while social media can be "positive", it can also mean people can forget "how to socialise in real life".
She said: "I think social media is double edged. It's mostly positive but it can become a bit of an obsession for people.
"You can start to live your life through this fake persona that you've created online and it's something that's not really reality. The internet has become such an available thing now and everyone uses it.
"A few people, including myself sometimes, have actually forgotten how to socialise in real life and actually go out and talk to real people instead of just sitting with your phone and scroll through the internet. It can become a bit full on I think."

Michelle Keegan: Corrie is ‘all I’ve even known’

Michelle Keegan says 'Coronation Street' is all she has "ever known".
The 26-year-old star has been filming her final storylines for her character Tina McIntyre - who she has played for six and a half years - and she admitted leaving the soap will be "really sad".
She told the Daily Express newspaper's Saturday magazine: "It's all I've ever known ... I'm going to feel really sad.
"It's like my second family here. So I'm not only saying goodbye to the show and to Tina, I'm saying goodbye to everyone here that I've worked with for all these years."
Once she's totally done with 'Corrie', Michelle is planning to spend time with her fiance Mark Wright - who has been travelling the globe recently filming his new series 'Party Wright Around The World' - and decide where to take her own career next.
She said: "He's not travelling again until the summer, so we've got a few months.
"That's be nice ... [Work-wise], I don't know. Nothing is set in stone yet.
"I've got a few things lined up. If I don't go straight into a job, I'll go away for a few weeks."

Emma Willis wants Kylie Minogue as a drinking partner

Emma Willis wants to be drinking partners with Kylie Minogue.
The 37-year-old star - who currently is co-presenter of 'The Voice' - has admitted she would love to become close friends with the judge and said while they speak about fashion, she hopes they can become closer.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper's TV Magazine, she said: "I absolutely love her. I've always been a bit of a Kylie fan. I had my hair permed like hers when I was a kid.
"At the moment we chat about outfits and she tells me she likes my hair, but I'd like to think soon we'll be going down the pub as mates. I would be very excited to sit in a bar with Kylie."
Despite her huge success thus far, the star host admitted she has been humbled by being hired by the BBC to help front their TV talent show.
She added: "I've had years of not getting the job I thought I would, but you keep pushing on. When I got 'The Voice', I was so excited.
"I always watched it at home with the kids and I loved it because it's about emotions, it's about people and it's about music - a hat-trick.
"It's a massive thing ... I mean, it's the BBC, Saturday night television. I don't know why they picked me, though."

5th Story perform for first time at Big Reunion gig

5th Story performed for the very first time at 'The Big Reunion' concert last night (21.02.14).
The newly-formed super-group roused fans at London's Hammersmith Apollo with a set comprised of songs made famous by each of the band members, including Another Level's Dane Bowers, Blazin' Squad's Kenzie, Gareth Gates, Kavana and Adam Rickitt.
The group's set list featured Another Level's 'Freak Me', Blazin' Squad's 'Flip Reverse', Adam's 'I Breathe Again', Kavana's 'I Can Make You Feel Good' and finally, closing the show, Gareth's number one hit 'Spirit in the Sky'.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz after the concert, Dane revealed it was "difficult" to gauge which songs fans would want to hear from the various band members' back catalogues but knew 'Freak Me' - which was a number one single for Another Level - had to be included.
Reformed 1990s soul group Eternal surprised fans by introducing Bebe Winans onstage to sing their own number one hit, 'I Wanna Be the Only One', while former teen heartthrobs A1 entertained the crowd with songs such as 'Take On Me' and 'Caught in the Middle'.
US band 3T paid an emotional tribute to their late uncle Michael Jackson by singing 'Why', their collaboration with the King of Pop, as family photos appeared on screens behind them.
Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton was among the celebrity names at the gig to support her fiancé Jade Jones and his band Damage, who serenaded the crowd with songs such as 'Wonderful Tonight'.
The gig also marked the culmination of a painful reunion for short-lived girl band Girl Thing, who were created by Simon Cowell but were unceremoniously dropped by their record label after two songs.
The group performed their top 10 charting song 'Last One Standing', a cover of Katy Perry's 'Roar', and for the first time they performed 'Pure and Simple' - the song which has been a source of contention on the second series of 'The Big Reunion'.
Girl Thing claim they wrote parts of the track, which was eventually released by 'Popstars' winners Hear'Say and topped the charts in 2001.
The Hammersmith gig was attended by stars of 'The Big Reunion' 2013 including 911 and Atomic Kitten's Liz McClarnon, as well as Kenzie's pal Mark Wright, Keith Lemon, Mutya Buena and Laura Mvula.
The concert will air on ITV2's 'The Big Reunion' on March 27.

Lily Allen names album Sheezus to honour Kanye West

Lily Allen will call her new album 'Sheezus' as a tribute to Kanye West.
The 'Air Balloon' singer insisted the name of the record - a parody of the rapper's latest album 'Yeezus' - isn't intended as a joke as his expense, instead describing it as a sign of "respect".
She told The Sun newspaper: "With all my albums, I've just wanted to have a laugh. But yes, 'Sheezus', it's bold. But it's not taking the p**s out of Kanye at all.
"I've got nothing but respect for him. I love him ... So it is a little homage to him. I hope he doesn't think it's a diss. I'd be horrified if he thought that."
The 28-year-old star also explained while Kanye is outspoken and controversial, he actually "makes total sense".
She said: "I know people think he's crazy but most of what he says I think makes total sense. I mean there are a few exceptions but on the whole.
"He is one of the only people who says what he believes and people call him mad for it."

Ian McKellen praises Ellen Page for coming out

Sir Ian McKellen has praised Ellen Page for "coming out".
The veteran actor - who publicly revealed he was gay in 1988 - is glad the star has been open with the world about her sexuality and thinks it will serve as "encouragement" for other people to see "it does get better".
He told Buzzfeed: "All this has come to a happy conclusion, hasn't it? With Ellen Page ... coming out. That gladdened my heart so much.
"For people who are lonely... reading that about someone whose career they follow is a little bit of a help and encouragement to them to think it does get better."
The star revealed while he was always openly gay, once he made the decision to properly "come out" he realised his life had become "a slightly better place".
He added: "Anyone in public life who comes out, comes out primarily for themselves, and their life is immediately improved. That's what happened to me. The world [became] a slightly better place."
Ellen Page revealed the news in a passionate statement earlier this month.
The 'Juno' star said: "I'm here today because I'm gay. And because maybe I can make a difference - to help others have an easier and more hopeful time.
"Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility. I also do it selfishly, because I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out.
"My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain."

Judi Dench hates the word ‘retire’

Dame Judi Dench says "retire" is the "rudest word" she knows.
The 79-year-old star has no plans to stop acting any time soon and hates being described as "old" or "vintage", preferring to be praised for her enthusiasm rather than her longevity.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she said: "It's the rudest word in my dictionary, 'retire'. And 'old' is another one. I don't allow that in my house. And being called 'vintage'.
"I don't want any of those old words. I like 'enthusiastic' and I like the word 'cut' because that means you've finished the shot."
The 'Philomena' actress also opened up about macular degeneration, an eye condition often leads to the gradual loss of central vision.
She admitted: "I never want to make much of it, but it is difficult - very, very difficult. I can't read anymore. I can't paint like I used to. I try to watch movies, but it's quite difficult.
"But these are all of the negatives. I don't want to really think about all that. What I can do, I do. And I somehow get by."
