Colin Farrell and Jessica Brown Findlay had a "real spark" on the set of their new film.
The 'Saving Mr. Banks' actor and former 'Downton Abbey' actress star alongside one another in supernatural drama 'A New York Winter's Tale' and director Akiva Goldsman was delighted with their chemistry.
Talking at the movie's London premiere at Kensington Odeon cinema, filmmaker Goldsman told BANG Showbiz: "I had a lot of help from Colin and Jessie, because they had a real spark. When you put the two of them together you see something lovely."
The tale follows the story of Farrell's alter-ego, thief Peter Lake, who falls in love with Findlay's character, dying Beverly Penn.
Goldman insists the intimate scenes were easy to film since they're both extremely professional.
Quizzed on the love scenes, the 51-year-old added: "They're very gown up. Love scenes are nowhere near as fun to make as they seem to be."
Other stars at the premiere included lead characters Farrell and Findlay, former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Amy Childs and famed filmmaker J. J. Abrams.
Drake thought Macklemore's decision to share his consolation Grammys text to Kendrick Lamar was "wack as f**k".
'Thrift Shop' hitmakers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were champions in almost every rap category at the ceremony last month but thought Kendrick should have won the prize for Best Rap Album for his record 'good kid, m.A.A.d city'.
Macklemore decided to share a text he sent to the star on his Instagram account, in which he wrote, "I wanted you to win ... It's weird and it sucks that I robbed you."
Kendrick then responded to Macklemore's win, saying: "It's well deserved, he did what he did, man."
But Drake said the rapper's decision to share his text to Kendrick with the world was "cheap".
He told Rolling Stone: "I was like, 'You won. Why are you posting your text message?' Just chill ... if you feel you didn't deserve it, go get better -- make better music. It felt cheap. It didn't feel genuine. Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those guys would pay homage to you if they won?
"To name just Kendrick? That shit made me feel funny. No, in that case, you robbed everybody. We all need text messages!" he added, after he was also nominated in a number of the same categories as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
Along with the award for Best Rap Album for their record 'The Heist', the rap duo also picked up gongs for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song Title for their hit 'Thrift Shop'.
Jared Leto doesn't find it difficult switching from his role as a frontman to being an actor.
The Thirty Seconds to Mars singer, whose recent performance in 'Dallas Buyers Club' as transgender AIDS victim Rayon has seen him win a string of awards, insists moving between the two professions comes naturally to him.
He told Faster Louder: "You could stick me in front of a pile of rubbish, and I'll make something out of it.
"It all comes from the same place, I'm a creative person, I find creative solutions to problems, and the difference is process.
"The process of making music is very intimate, because at least for me, and Thirty Seconds to Mars, I write the songs, my brother [Shannon] plays the drums, and we have so much responsibility from the music to the production to the videos to the design to the marketing to the tours and the production of the tours ... everything."
The star feels he has less to worry about in terms of production when it comes to acting and tries to focus purely on his role and work with other cast members.
Jared, 42, said: "When you're an actor you're responsible for the vertical within that collaborative effort.
"I think in some ways that can be a really good thing, because you can hyper-focus on your one task.
"But normally as a musician if you write your own songs, it'd be more akin to a director who also stars in his own movies and also writes and produces them as well."
The singer - who is currently performing gigs with his band mates Shannon and Tomo Millicevic - said the group are always "playing with new ideas."
He added: "It's something that you can't really shut down. 'Love Lust Faith and Dreams' still feels like a brand new album to us, it came out in May [2013], so it's not too long ago, and we're on tour.
"Right now we're in Los Angeles but we'll be heading out to Europe in a matter of days again. We just played Mexico. And we'll be playing shows all over the world for the rest of this year."
Britain's Prince Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas are "very much in love".
The young couple, who have been dating on and off for 20 months, have been seen on a number of low-key dates in recent weeks, including a night at the Royal Albert Hall watching Cirque du Soleil's hit show Quidam on Wednesday (12.02.14).
The flame-haired prince treated his blonde girlfriend to a night out to take her mind off the death of her former stepfather, Christopher Shaw, whose funeral was also on Wednesday.
A royal source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The fact she wanted to be with Harry after such a tough day shows how strong their bond has grown."
Speaking about recent split rumours, they said: "When they didn't see each other much over Christmas there was speculation their relationship had gone downhill but that was just rubbish.
"They spend a lot of time together and are very much in love."
The pair are no doubt planning more date nights now 29 year old Harry has given up flying for a military desk job and Cressida has decided a career in the dance world would be difficult to handle with a royal relationship.
Last night, William Hill halved the odds of Harry proposing to his girlfriend before the end of the year from 2-1 to evens.
Cressida arrived for her stepfather's funeral in Hampshire with half-brother, Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 30.
Mr Shaw, who was 76, was the fourth husband of Cressida's mother, Lady Mary Gaye Curzon, 66. The couple were married for four years before they split up in 2000.
Matt Damon argues with his wife over 'Downton Abbey'.
'The Monuments Men' actor admits he's a big fan of the ITV period drama and fell out with his wife Luciana Barrosa after she watched a run of episodes without him.
Speaking on 'The Graham Norton Show', which airs tonight (14.02.14), Matt said: "My wife is an addict. It's a problem.
"We were supposed to watch it together and I came to bed one night and she said, 'I've just watched six of them - I'll tell you what happened!'
"She wanted to watch the seventh and didn't want to go back to the beginning. So she's done the whole thing and I am on my own."
The 43-year-old star, who has three daughters with wife Luciana, along with her daughter from a previous marriage, has been married since 2005 and is currently missing his family while promoting his new film 'The Monuments Men', co-starring George Clooney, who has also said he's a fan of 'Downton Abbey'.
But he appeared to be enjoying himself on Graham's sofa, declaring: "This is the best time I have ever had on a chat show."
Meanwhile, Matt has said he would love to appear in 'Downtown Abbey' with co-star Hugh Bonneville, who plays Robert, Earl of Grantham.
Asked if Hugh had convinced him to guest-star on the show yet, he said: "He could, he could. Everybody loves that show. My wife loves the show more than anybody. I don't know [if she loves it more than Michelle Obama]. They would have a lot to talk about."
Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Nicholas Hoult are set to move in together.
The American actress and her 'X Men' co-star are reportedly searching for their first home and have put in an offer for a seven-bedroom barn conversion near Hook, a village in Hampshire, close to where Nicholas's family live.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They loved the house as soon as they saw it. They know it's not realistic at this point in their thriving careers to live in the UK, but they want a bolthole across the pond.
"Jen loves the English way of life and as they are now serious again, it makes sense to look into buying somewhere."
The couple, who have been dating on and off for three years, viewed the £1.3 million property while visiting Nicholas's family in nearby Berkshire over Christmas and also spent the day checking out the area, including local pubs and restaurants.
Jennifer, 23, first met Nicholas, 24, on the set of 2011's 'X-Men: First Class' but they later split in January 2013 before getting back together over the summer to film the new 'X-Men' movie.
They were spotted kissing last month at the Golden Globe Awards as 'American Hustle' star Jennifer picked up one of the night's top honours for Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy).
Jennifer embraced Nicholas with a kiss on the lips and placed her hands on his face before joining the cast and crew on stage to accept the award.
Russell Brand is taking his girlfriend on a romantic boat trip to mark Valentine's Day.
The 38-year-old comedian has arranged to take his beau Jemima Khan on a private ferry ride across the River Mersey at midnight following his gig in Liverpool, North West England, tonight (14.02.14).
A friend of the pair told the Daily Star newspaper: "Jemima has been to a few of Russ's gigs, but mainly around the London area. She hasn't ventured up north too much.
"But tonight will be different as it's their first Valentine's Day together as a couple, and they didn't want to spend it apart."
The 'Get Me To The Greek' star has also planned for a beautiful candlelit dinner on the boat, before whisking his lover off to St John's Tower in Liverpool to look over the starlit city.
The source explained: "On the boat ride he's planning a candlelit picnic for his sweetheart, and then afterwards they'll head to the top of St John's Tower.
"It's nearly 500ft tall and the views at night are amazing.
"Because it's used as a radio station, Russ reckons his DJ connections will secure them a private area for hanky panky."
Russell - who was married to Katy Perry in 2010 before divorcing almost two years later - is determined to spoil Jemima and prove to her that he can be romantic.
The source said: "Whatever Russ decides on, you can bet it'll be a night to remember for Jemima.
"He doesn't do things like this by halves.
"He really wants to show her just how romantic and serious he can be."
Cheryl Cole and will.i.am are devastated following the sudden death of a close friend.
The stars are in mourning after discovering The Black Eyed Peas' ex-manager Nick Lauher - who guided the band to success - died from a suspected prescription drug overdose last week.
A source said: "Will.i.am has been left utterly devastated.
"He worked with Nick for a long time and had become close friends over the years."
Cheryl grew to know Nick when will.i.am managed her solo career from 2011, and she will drop her plans to fly to San Diego, California, next week ahead of the funeral.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl grew to know Nick well due to her friendship with Will.
"She has cleared her diary to go to San Diego. She wants to be there to support Will."
Meanwhile, will.i.am's bandmate Fergie has also been left feeling distraught following the news and she will also fly from Los Angeles to the ceremony, which is taking place in the city where Nick grew up.
She took to Twitter earlier this week to pay her respects, writing: "R.I.P. @NickLauher, my friend. Truly one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. #heavencouldntwaitforyou #angel #love #BEPfamily (sic)."
Chantelle Houghton wants to have her breast implants removed.
The 30-year-old reality TV star had an operation to take her B-cup breasts to an E-cup in 2007 but after losing 28lbs and dropping three dress sizes, she admits she feels "stupid" for having them done.
She said: "I have lost 28lbs and dropped from a [UK] size 16 to a size 10 - and I feel happier and healthier than ever before.
"What I want to do now is have the implants removed. I don't want anything alien in my body and I feel stupid for having them done."
Chantelle - who has 19-month-old daughter Dolly with ex-fiancé Alex Reid - also wants to be someone her daughter can look up to and she feels that being in better shape and having her implants removed will make that possible.
She told the Sun newspaper: "I want to set a good example to my daughter, Dolly. I'm my own person now."
The former glamour model also wants to encourage other women to lead healthier lives, and claims you don't have to pay for a gym membership to get fit as she lost weight using simple exercises you can do at home.
She added: "I found them really easy but they were so effective for toning my legs."
Colin Farrell believes in the "power of love".
The 37-year-old actor - who has sons James, 10, and Henry, four, from previous relationships - insists love helps the world go round and claims every relationship requires affection to keep it afloat.
Talking at the premiere for his new film, 'A New York Winter's Tale', at London's Kensington Odeon, he told BANG Showbiz: "I think the world would sink under the weight of its own more destructive aspects if it wasn't for love, evening the score a little bit. Whether it's love between friends, between parents and their children, lovers, whatever it may be. So yeah I do believe in the power of love."
The Hollywood star insists he isn't particularly romantic, but wasn't keen to divulge too many details about his love life.
Quizzed on the most romantic thing he's ever done, he explained: "I don't know, I'm too shy about those questions. I'm not going to talk about how romantic I am, which is just another way of saying I've never done anything romantic in my life."
Farrell admits he doesn't have any plans for Valentine's Day today (14.02.14) and is set to travel back to Los Angeles from the UK.
He sarcastically added: "[I'll be spending Valentine's Day] in a plane with 274 of my closest friends on my way to Los Angeles."
Other stars at the premiere include his co- star Jessica Brown Findlay, former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Amy Childs and famed filmmaker J. J. Abrams.
Lupita Nyong'o found it difficult working on '12 Years A Slave'.
The newcomer, who is up for a Best Supporting Actress award at the BAFTAs on Sunday (16.02.14), admits she found it daunting when she first started filming because she was working with actors who had a lot more experience than her.
According to The Sun newspaper, she said: "It was terrifying to be thrown into the middle with such amazing and seasoned artists."
The 30-year-old actress still can't believe she won the part of Patsey in Steve McQueen's critically-acclaimed film and she is nominated for a gong along with co-stars Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who will also attend the ceremony at London's Royal Opera House at the weekend.
She added: "It was incredible to be able to work with actors that I respect and trust.
"Acting is always about playing off other people.
"So to have such incredible actors to work with was ... well I'm still getting goosebumps."
Meanwhile, the star said she cried when she was also nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and watched the nominations broadcast on TV with her friends.
She said: "I raised my hand up and I just closed my eyes and cried and said thank you, thank you, thank you. It was so surreal to hear my name in that context."
'Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw will finally seduce Marcus Dent next week.
The Weatherfield resident - played by Bruno Langley - has set his sights on Marcus (Charlie Condou) in recent weeks and the midwife will find himself unable to resist Todd's advances any longer, despite being in a relationship with Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie).
Bruno said: "This was always about Todd pushing until Marcus caved in. He knows what he wants and won't stop until he gets it - never mind the consequences!
"Todd is genuinely attracted to Marcus and that's all it takes. He likes the challenge and the chase, but also Todd doesn't like to see other people happy when he isn't."
Marcus previously had a relationship with Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) but has since entered a heterosexual relationship with Maria, and Todd - who at one point was engaged to a woman before coming out - thinks Marcus is making a big mistake.
Bruno explained to Inside Soap magazine: "Remember, Todd at one time was all set to marry Sarah and have children, but he knew it wasn't right and he just getting swept up in it all. He can see the same pattern with Marcus.
"Todd actually believes he's saving Marcus from living a lie and helping out Maria at the same time."
