Rebecca Ferguson has "p****d off a lot of people" in the music industry.
The 'I Hope' singer says she's become a "rebel" since rising to fame on 'The X Factor' in 2010, and thinks it could be the reason why her second studio album 'Freedom' wasn't nominated for a BRIT Award last week, despite having charted in the UK top ten.
Expressing disappointment that she is yet to receive a nomination, Rebecca told Digital Spy: "I wasn't nominated for my first album [Heaven] either! I don't know what that's about. Who are the BRIT Awards decided by? Because I have p****d off a lot of people in the industry. That would be interesting - I want to know!"
The 27-year-old singer says that while she enjoys a boozy night out at the BRIT Awards in London, she is considering building better relationships within the industry in hope of being acknowledged for an award next year.
She added: "Maybe I'll have to start being a bit nicer, but this industry needs a few rebels. It's a fun night out though and I do love the awards."

Aaron Paul never had a girlfriend until he was 19.
The 'Need for Speed' actor - who married Lauren Parsekian in May 2013 - admits he was a "theatre geek" at school who had a sheltered upbringing which meant he rarely went to parties or dated during his teenage years.
He said: "It was a beautiful, loving home. I was very protected.
"They wanted to keep me out of harm's way, so I didn't grow up going to parties in high school. I never dated.
"My main focus was school and theatre. I was just a theatre geek.
"I had a girlfriend in fifth grade but, let's be honest, we only talked three times and we dated for a year and a half. My first proper girlfriend was when I was 19, after I moved to LA."
Aaron was smitten with Lauren from the minute they got together at the Coachella festival in 2011, a year after they first met, and even told her that night he wanted to marry her some day.
He recalled to Britain's Marie Claire magazine: "There was just this unspoken thing. We ran off and had our first kiss on the Ferris wheel.
"I told her that night how I felt. I said, 'I think I love you. Don't be terrified, but I truly believe that, one day, I'm going to ask you to marry me."

One Direction are turning into men.
The 'Little Things' hitmakers - Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles - think they have changed a lot since they first found fame when they entered 'The X Factor' as solo artists before Simon Cowell put them in the group in 2010.
Niall said: "I mean we were all just kids ... You get pushed straight in and have to grow up fast ... We've got bigger, we've got stubble, we're turning into men.
Niall's bandmates agreed with him, saying they thought it was especially hard for them to deal with their early success because they didn't know one another well enough to rely on each other for support.
Zayn said: "We've all changed. None of us really knew each other and none of us was really prepared.
"I found it hard talking to people, answering questions, but then you realise everyone is in the same boat. You can't take yourself too seriously, and you all start to relax into being who you are."
The 'Story of My Life' hitmakers admitted that although they're enjoying their success and being able to go on perform at arenas, they often like to relax in their tour bus rather than going out partying.
Liam told Top of the Pops magazine: "It's pretty hard to just 'go out' ... A lot of the time we actually prefer sleeping on the tour bus. We park outside the venue and just stay there. We have our DVDs and Xboxes and we have a quiet bus for sleeping."

Kim Kardashian has taken her daughter to Paris for the first time.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star flew out of New York City with her eight month old North West, and mother, Kris Jenner, on Tuesday (25.02.14).
The brunette beauty, who is planning to get married to Kanye West in the French capital in May, was spotted comforting the tot before the long-haul flight and kissing her repeatedly, as they checked in at JFK International Airport, according to the New York Daily News.
Although she applied for North's passport several months ago, it is believed this is the first time Kim has taken her little girl out of the US, after previously being criticised for leaving her baby at home with family in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Kim has insisted that North is not spoiled.
The 33-year-old star regularly posts pictures online of gifts North receives from designers, but admits she never wears any of them.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "Despite what it looks like on Instagram, my daughter is not spoiled at all!"
She added: "She has actually not worn anything designer yet. Kids get dirty. She'll spit up. She moves around so much."
North received free clothes from Stella McCartney, Giuseppe Zanotti, Hermes and Charlotte Olympia for Christmas in December and Kim was quick to thank them on Instagram.

Justin Bieber allegedly couldn't walk in a straight line when he was arrested last month.
New video footage, released by Miami-Dade County prosecutors after it was sought under Florida's public records law, shows the 19-year-old star stumbled slightly while trying to prove he was sober and spent some of his time in jail doing push-ups, before being charged with driving under the influence (DUI), driving with an expired licence and resisting arrest.
A law enforcement source told gossip website TMZ.com that some of the nine hours of video surveillance show Justin, who was filmed wavering as he tried to walk heel to toe on white line and reaching his arms out to steady himself, was under the influence at the time, even though his blood alcohol level was barely measurable at .014 and he did 23 push-ups in 28 seconds before he was released on bail.
The 'Believe' singer's lawyers persuaded the judge overseeing the case not to release four clips that show Justin in "various states of undress, which show personal parts," captured while he was giving a urine sample.
A source, who saw the footage, said: "Justin is seen several times stumbling around while he was taking his tests. As if he had a problem with his balance ... [the video] also shows Justin taking his various tests and eventually taking a p**s.
"The stumbling and going to the bathroom is obviously reason enough for his attorneys to request it be sealed ... If I was trying to paint a picture that my client was innocent ... I wouldn't want a video of him stumbling around and looking out of it to go public either."
The 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker is set to appear in court in Miami next Monday (03.03.14), after reportedly rejecting a plea deal that required him to submit to random drug testing for up to nine months and complete 40 hours of community service.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum enjoys romantic dates with Channing Tatum to preserve her "sanity".
The 'Witches of East End' actress and her 'Magic Mike' star husband love being parents to their nine-month-old daughter, Everly, but still cherish their alone time.
The 33-year-old beauty told UsMagazine.com: "We make sure we get good date nights. You've got to get out and be around adults, and not be speaking in a baby voice all day long -- just for your own sanity!"
But the couple, who met on the set of 'Step Up' in 2006, are closer and have also become better planners since Everly's arrival.
Jenna explained: "As a whole, it just forces you to become a little closer, because you have to be on the same page with everything when it comes to making decisions. It's just like everything else. You give it like, 'Okay, I have this luncheon today, so you watch Everly and I have this dinner.' You just become way better at planning!"
She added: "It's been a great perspective change. The things that used to maybe worry [me]...[were] replaced by just caring and being there for this little baby."
The actress hopes to have more children in the future.
She said: "I do want to have more kids if it's in the cards for us. But right now we're trying to get into the groove and enjoy our little baby that we have now. We'll see what the future has in store for us!"

Seth Rogen poked fun at his love of marijuana while testifying before a US Senate subcommittee.
The 31-year-old actor, who has frequently spoken of his fondness for the drug, visited Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. on Wednesday (26.02.14) to voice his support for legislation to increase funding for Alzheimer's disease, which his mother-in-law, Adele Miller, was diagnosed with at an early age.
Speaking at the hearing, the 'Pineapple Express' star said: "First I should answer the question that I assume many of you are asking - yes, I am aware this has nothing to do with the legalisation of marijuana. In fact, if you can believe it, this concerns something that I find even more important.
"I started dating my wife Lauren nine years ago when her mother was almost 54 years old. It was during this trip, the first time I met my now mother-in-law, that Lauren first admitted to herself and then to me that something was off with her mother.
"Soon after this trip at 55 years old Lauren's mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's."
The 'Knocked Up' star praised his father-in-law for making Adele comfortable as her disease progresses and opened up about his decision to start his own fund, 'Hilarity for Charity,' to support other families and research on the illness.
He said: "That's right, the situation is so dire, that it caused me, a lazy, self-involved, generally self-medicated man-child, to start an entire charity organisation."
He added: "I came here today for few reasons. One I'm a huge 'House of Cards' fan. ... Two, people need more help. I've personally witnessed the massive amount of financial strain this disease causes. ... Three, to show people they are not alone, so few people share their personal stories."
Ben Affleck also spoke about the Democratic Republic of Congo at Capitol Hill on Wednesday.

Allison Williams has got engaged to Ricky Van Veen.
The 'Girls' star, who plays uptight aspiring singer Marnie Michaels on the HBO series, is set to marry her boyfriend of three years after he popped the question recently.
A spokesperson for the 25-year-old actress confirmed the news to PEOPLE.com.
The brunette beauty, whose father is NBC news anchor Brian Williams, met Ricky, the co-founder of College Humor, a popular comedy brand and website, through mutual friends.
The couple are good pals with Katy Perry and her ex-boyfriend John Mayer, who split in recent days, and have regularly been spotted on double dates with them in New York City in the past.
Allison recently admitted she "would walk away" from her acting career in favour of starting a family.
She said: "My goal is to create a career I can walk away from and become a mom. I'd love to be a mom -- and not have to bring my kids into my trailer . . . Or a balance [of both]. But you gotta call it on the fly to a certain extent."
But she insisted she wasn't ready to throw her acting career away for something more family-friendly in the near future.
She said: "I want to play a villain. I want to play a romantic heroine. I want to play someone who's on heroin. There's nothing I don't want to do. I want to play a guy at some point. I'll gain 100lbs, I'll cut my hair off, I'll do whatever. I'm not precious about any of it."

Kerry Washington still gets nervous and feels insecure.
The 'Scandal' star, who is expecting her first child with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha imminently, is regularly hailed as among the most beautiful and talented women in Hollywood but insists she isn't perfect.
The 37-year-old actress told Doobop.com: "I think it looks that way. But the reality is we all have nerves and moments of insecurity ... But If I said to myself that I'm only going to show up, or speak or be visible when I'm perfect, I would never get out of bed. I [show up] to be of service and to be used for something greater. Kerry admits that she has a "really beautiful" mother but claims she wasn't raised to focus on her appearance.
She said: "I came into beauty and fashion much later in life -- like after college and when I had to walk red carpets. I became a student of fashion and beauty."

Police officers reportedly found marijuana in Justin Bieber's car.
The 19-year-old star's bodyguard was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday (25.02.14), for allegedly stealing a photographer's camera, and a small amount of the drug was uncovered in the singer's Escalade.
A law enforcement source told gossip website TMZ.com that while officers were searching for the camera in the vehicle, which they retrieved and returned to the paparazzo, they also found less than an ounce of the drug and two large glass smoking pipes, but it was enough to charge anyone with a crime.
The 'Baby' singer's driver said he had no knowledge of what was in the back of the Escalade and usually doesn't ask questions, according to the police report.
The vehicle was towed to police headquarters from a fun house that Justin had rented for the day and inspected.
Justin has been accused of using the drug regularly in the past and pilots flying his private jet last month were reportedly forced to wear oxygen masks because the plane was so thick with marijuana smoke.
The 'Believe' singer, his father Jeremy Bieber and an entourage of 10 flew from Canada to New Jersey on January 31 and allegedly ignored warnings to stop smoking the narcotic, with flight staff forced to take drastic action as inhaling the smoke would have led to them failing drug tests.
The official incident report said: "The captain of the flight stated that he warned the passengers, including Bieber, on several occasions to stop smoking marijuana."
Justin's on/off companion Chantal Jeffries, who was with him when he was arrested in Miami last month, claimed on Tuesday that she had never seen him use drugs.

Amy Adams decided to become an actress because she failed chemistry.
The 'American Hustle' star dreamt of being a doctor or a performer when she was growing up, but opted to pursue the latter because she wasn't very good at science.
The 39-year-old Oscar-nominee told PEOPLE.com: "I knew I wanted to be an actor. I wish I had a more inspiring answer... I wanted to be a doctor or a performer and I failed chemistry so that left me with this option."
Amy, who has a three-year-old daughter Aviana with her fiancé Darren Le Gallo, admitted she is inspired by her 'Doubt' co-star Meryl Streep, who has four adult children, because she has been able to maintain a healthy balance between her career and personal life.
She said: "I've been inspired by a lot of actors, it's hard to pick one. Meryl knows I always name her and the reason is not just because of her amazing ability, which is unquestionable, but it's all the balance that she's been able to achieve in her life. That's something I hope to attain so I look to her not only as an actress but as a woman, and as a role model."

Khloe Kardashian's rumoured new boyfriend used to date her older sister.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, 29, recently sparked speculation she is being romanced by The Game, and was spotted twerking against him in a Hollywood nightclub and wearing a personalised varsity jacket that was part of the merchandise for his last tour earlier this month, but they first bonded when the rapper had a brief fling with Kim Kardashian.
The 34-year-old star told DJ Charlie Sloth on the UK's BBC Radio1Extra: "It's funny man cos me and Khloe we're cool. People don't know, but I've been knowing Khloe for 12 years - you know what I'm saying? I went and dated Kim for a while. A little short while. Me and Khloe are cool."
When quizzed further about the timing of his relationship with Kim, The Game said: "You know what. I don't remember that time line."
He also insisted he didn't want to disrespect Kim's fiancé, Kanye West, adding: "Kanye was the homie. He's still the homie. That is his wife. They got a family. I love them. They're great."
The 'Hate It Or Love It' hitmaker, who has three children with his ex-fiancée Tiffney Cambridge, also dismissed reports he and Khloe, who filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in December, are anything more than friends and said: "No man. I got a family at home man. I'll bring my kids' mom here and let her talk about the thing."
