Chris Pratt gushes about his talkative son

Chris Pratt is excited that his son has started talking.
The 'Parks and Recreation' star has a 17-month-old little boy, Jack, with his wife, Anna Faris, and admits he is often surprised by what comes out of his child's mouth.
The 34-year-old star told PEOPLE.com: "He'll totally surprise me with the things he'll say, maybe a week after he heard me say it.
"[He'll repeat] toys, colours, body parts like knee, elbow, hand. You get the sense that he knows a lot more than he's saying [aloud]. I'll say, 'Where's your head?' and he'll point to his head. And I'll say, 'Put the sock on your nose,' and he'll put it on his nose."
He added: "Every day is something new. I'm noticing he's really observant. He's watching everything around him and [using it as] a learning moment."
The couple haven't introduced Jack to any of their TV shows or films yet.
The 'Lego Movie' star explained: "We keep him away from the screen right now, but I'm sure we'll be plopping him in front of [it] in no time."
Anna, 37, recently claimed she and Chris lead "boring lives" and love nothing more than spending time at home together.
She said: "A home-cooked meal, tinkering around our home, [sitting] around with the fireplace and a glass of wine.
"We really value our private time. Also, we have kind of boring lives."

Mariah Carey puts home on market for $12.99 million

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are selling their home in California for $12.99 million.
The couple, who have two-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, put their lavish 11,750 square-foot property in Bel Air on the open market this week.
The 43-year-old singer and the 'America's Got Talent host, who got married in 2008, bought the property for $6.975 million in April 2009, according to The Real Estalker website.
The colonial style mansion features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, formal living and dining rooms, a state-of-the-art home theatre, games room, fitness gym, music room and a double-height half-court basketball court.
It also boasts an extra-long dark-bottomed swimming pool, open-air cabana and a putting green.
The couple also own properties on the guard-gated Windermere Island in the Bahamas as well as a three-floor apartment in New York City.
It is not yet known if they plan to buy another base in Los Angeles.
Nick, 33, recently revealed he and Mariah were drawn to each other after discovering they shared the same views and values in life.
He said: "It was early on when I found out how spiritual she was, and we had conversations about kids and how to live life.
"For her to share these values, it instantly let me know this is the person I've always wanted."

Woody Allen’s daughter will not be ‘silenced’

Woody Allen's daughter has hit back at him for denying allegations he sexually abused her.
Dylan Farrow, who claims the 'Blue Jasmine' director molested her when she was seven, insists she will not be "silenced" by the Hollywood star, 78, who said his open letter in the New York Times on Friday (07.02.14), in which he blamed his ex-partner Mia Farrow for exploiting their adopted child, would be his "final word" on the matter.
After reading the filmmaker's response, the 28 year old released the following statement today (08.02.14): "Once again, Woody Allen is attacking me and my family in an effort to discredit and silence me - but nothing he says or writes can change the truth. For 20 years, I have never wavered in describing what he did to me. I will carry the memories of surviving these experiences for the rest of my life.
"His op-ed is the latest rehash of the same legalese, distortions and outright lies he has levelled at me for the past 20 years.
"He insists my mother brought criminal charges - in fact, it was a paediatrician who reported the incident to the police based on my first-hand account. He suggests that no one complained of his misconduct prior to his assault on me - court documents show that he was in treatment for what his own therapist described as 'inappropriate' behaviour with me from as early as 1991."
She added: "He offers a carefully worded claim that he passed a lie detector test - in fact, he refused to take the test administered by the state police (he hired someone to administer his own test, which authorities refused to accept as evidence)."
Woody initially faced allegations in 1992 during a custody battle with Mia, but they were later dropped without charge.

Sean Penn passionately kisses Charlize Theron

Sean Penn couldn't keep his hands off Charlize Theron in Los Angeles on Friday (07.02.14).
The couple - who made their first public appearance together three weeks ago after getting together late last year - were spotted kissing passionately as they drove around Beverly Hills in a dark SUV.
A source told E! News that the South African beauty, 38, and 'Milk' star, 53, "made out the entire time" when they were forced to pause at a stoplight while running errands.
The eyewitness said that Charlize's two-year-old son, Jackson, was not with them.
An insider recently claimed the couple are already talking about getting married and the Oscar-winner, who has two children, Dylan, 23, and Hopper, 20, with his ex-wife, Robin Wright, has expressed interest in adopting Jackson.
The source said: "Sean is head over heels in love with Charlize, and her son Jackson.
"He is a totally different person around Charlize, she brings out the gentle and fun side that not many people have seen of Sean. To see this previously surly grown man, romping around Charlize's backyard with Jackson, with a smile on his face would amaze Sean's detractors. Charlize is getting Sean to not take himself to seriously.
"The two began talking about marriage in the last few weeks, after Sean moved into Charlize's house. She has never wanted to get married, but seeing how Sean interacts with Jackson, she is having a change of heart.
"For the longest time, Charlize thought it was just going to be her and Jackson, and she was OK with that. For her to now be talking about getting married is a huge departure for Charlize."

Selena Gomez was ‘burnt out’

Selena Gomez was "burnt out" before she went to rehab.
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker, who secretly spent two weeks at the Dawn at the Meadows treatment facility in Wickenburg, Arizona last month, decided to seek help after vowing to "get healthy" at the end of 2013 but was never "out of control."
Asked why she decided to seek help, a source close to the 21-year-old star told Billboard.com: "Project wellness. She was burnt out after a relentless year of back-to-back films, concerts, TV, touring and all the promotional work that goes along with it. She needed a break."
While the brunette beauty enjoyed her share of partying last year, the insider insisted she wasn't suffering from addiction or body issues.
The source said: "She's not that girl. Does she party and have the occasional joint? Yes. Does she drink when she goes out? Yes. But she's not struggling with drug addiction or alcoholism. I've never seen her out of control."
Selena - whose on/off relationship with Justin Bieber is said to have contributed to her problems - reportedly left rehab four weeks early as she felt two weeks there was enough to get her back on track.
Following her treatment, the 'Spring Breakers' star - who cancelled a planned tour of Australia this month - is now focused on returning to work and has been reading lots of scripts and attending casting calls in a bid to move forward.

Woody Allen admits son looks like Frank Sinatra

Woody Allen has admitted Ronan Farrow "looks a lot like" Frank Sinatra.
The 'Blue Jasmine' director addressed his ex-partner Mia Farrow's recent claims that their only biological child's real father could be the legendary late singer in an open letter, in which he strongly denied molesting their adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when she was seven.
Responding to the speculation for the first time, the 78-year-old star wrote in the New York Times: "Is he my son or, as Mia suggests, Frank Sinatra's? Granted, he looks a lot like Frank with the blue eyes and facial features, but if so what does this say? That all during the custody hearing Mia lied under oath and falsely represented Ronan as our son?"
He added: "Even if he is not Frank's, the possibility she raises that he could be, indicates she was secretly intimate with him during our years. Not to mention all the money I paid for child support. Was I supporting Frank's son? Again, I want to call attention to the integrity and honesty of a person who conducts her life like that."
The 'Rosemary's Baby' actress, who was married to the 'That's Life' hitmaker from 1966 to 1968 and continued to have an on/off romance with him following their divorce, sparked controversy when she told Vanity Fair magazine in October that Sinatra, who died in 1998, could "possibly" be 26-year-old Ronan's father.
Nancy Sinatra, the singer's daughter from his marriage to first wife Nancy Barbato Sinatra, also acknowledged Ronan as part of her family last year and said he "is a big part of us, and we are blessed to have him in our lives."

Bruce Jenner having ‘identity crisis’?

Bruce Jenner's sons think he is going through an "identity crisis."
Brody Jenner, 30, and Brandon Jenner, 32, who have been spending a lot more time with the Olympic gold medallist since he announced his split from his third wife, Kris Jenner, in October after 22 years of marriage, are reportedly concerned he recently underwent surgery to reduce the size of his Adam's apple but just want their father to be happy.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "(Bruce) is definitely having a moment.... an identity crisis, according to Brandon and Brody. They attribute it to Bruce finally being out estranged wife Kris' house.... she never would have allowed him to do this living under her roof."
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' stars haven't asked their 64-year-old father, who has also grown his hair longer recently, about his sudden desire to change his appearance but are supporting him.
The insider said: "However, as long as Bruce is happy, that is all they really care about. Brody has been spending a lot of time with his dad, and the two have never been closer. All they know is that their dad is in a really good place right now, and that is all that matters."
Bruce underwent a "laryngeal shave" procedure in Beverly Hills last month to soften the feature of his neck, which is typically done on patients who are in the first stage of gender reassignment, but insisted he only did it because he never liked his trachea.
A well-placed source on the family's E! reality series also told TMZ.com that there are no plans to address Bruce's new image on the show.

Neil Patrick Harris accepts Hasty Pudding award

Neil Patrick Harris donned a messy black wig and red high heels to accept his Hasty Pudding award.
The 'How I Met Your Mother' star was named Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Man of the Year 2014 on Friday (07.02.14), which saw him honoured with a parade, where he was driven around the streets of Cambridge, Massachusetts, in a convertible along with several members of the university's theatre troop dressed in drag.
The 40-year-old actor, who is set to headline the drag-themed Broadway debut of 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' in April and also accessorised his dapper tuxedo with pieces of lingerie, admitted he "felt remarkably good in heels" after accepting the prestigious accolade from America's oldest undergraduate drama troupe.
He also wrote on Twitter today (08.02.14): "So honored to have been, um, honored by Hasty Pudding at Harvard last night. Their show was awesome... (sic)"
During a roast, the Emmy Award-winning actor was jokingly ridiculed for being best known for 200 episodes of "crappy" television and hosting the Spike TV Video Game Awards in 2010.
Dame Helen Mirren was named the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year 2014 last week and twerked on stage while receiving her award.
Both honours are given to performers who have made lasting contributions to entertainment.
Previous winners include Jason Segel, Meryl Streep, Justin Timberlake, Christopher Walken, Julia Roberts, Jodie Foster, Elizabeth Taylor, Anne Hathaway, Bruce Willis, Claire Danes and French actress Marion Cotillard.

Rihanna reunites with Drake?

Rihanna and Drake left a nightclub together on Friday night (07.02.14).
The former couple fuelled speculation they have rekindled their relationship after they were spotted getting into the same taxi outside Hooray Henry's in West Hollywood.
The duo, who collaborated on the track 'What's My Name' in 2010, tried to keep the fact they were together under-wraps as they left the club separately.
The 25-year-old beauty left first before the 27-year-old rapper followed her out and got into her waiting taxi seconds later, according to the MailOnline website.
An insider recently told HollywoodLife.com that the 'Stay' hitmaker began seeing Drake again late last year but they aren't ready to have a "committed" relationship.
The source said: "They're doing what they do on the low, and they like to keep it that way. They fill each other's needs when they can, and that's how they're choosing to roll."
The 'Hold On, We're Going Home' singer previously admitted in 2011 that Rihanna had unintentionally broken his heart.
He said: "At the time it hurt, but she didn't mean to. I'll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realise what it was. I guess I thought it was more."
The R&B star got into an altercation with Rihanna's ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, in 2012 but the pair have since buried the hatchet.

Harry Styles: One Direction aren’t in same ‘league’ as The Beatles

Harry Styles admits One Direction aren't in the same "league" as The Beatles.
While the curly-haired hearrthrob thinks the band are experiencing the same levels of fan hysteria as the Liverpudlian group did in the 60s, he understands their pop songs will never compare to The Beatles' classic hits.
The 19-year-old star told Top of the Pops magazine: "We all sat and watched the film of [The Beatles] arriving in America. And, to be honest, that really was like us. Stepping off the plane, the girls, the madness. It was exactly the same as when we got there - just 50 years earlier.
"But none of us think we're in the same league as them music-wise. We'd be total fools if we did. Fame-wise, it's probably even bigger, but we don't stand anywhere near them in terms of music."
Harry says his most lavish purchase since making it big has been his house, which he is excited about finally moving into when the renovations are completed.
He added: "I bought it at the beginning of last year, then decided to move the kitchen. That turned into a bigger thing, and last time I went it was all just floorboards. The builders told me it won't be finished until early this year, so even when I finally get home I'll still be staying at a mate's house."

Paloma Faith was too nice for The Voice

Paloma Faith turned down 'The Voice' because she's too nice.
The quirky singer has revealed she was offered the chance to become a mentor on the TV talent show but she knew she wouldn't be able to cope with criticising the contestants.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper: "Yes they did offer me 'The Voice' but I didn't think it was right.
"I don't like the idea of eliminating people because I don't feel confident enough about my own abilities to judge any body else."
Kylie Minogue accepted the chance to become a judge on the show after Jessie J left, and it has proven to be a great move by producers.
According to reports in The Sun newspaper, the 'I Should Be So Lucky' hitmaker has brought in an extra two million viewers for the current series and could be in line for a pay rise if she returns for another year.
A source said: "The Kylie effect is incredible - she's turned the show around.
"This could have been the final series but if the 'Kylie Effect' holds, it's a dead cert to come back.
"Thanks to her, it's finally looking like a serious rival to 'The X Factor.' "
