Ricky Wilson says will.i.am likes winding people up

Ricky Wilson says will.i.am "likes to play with intelligence".
'The Voice' judge admitted his fellow mentor can often seem too smart for him to keep up, and explained while he gets on with all of co-stars, the Black Eyed Peas hitmaker is "trickier" than Kylie Minogue or Sir Tom Jones.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Fabulous magazine: "Will's trickier. He likes to play with intelligence.
"Once he was saying that DNA was going to become currency and I was trying to work out what it meant. I'm still working it out! It was only when I realised he likes to wind you up that I started getting along with him."
The Kaiser Chiefs singer found it easier to get on with Tom and Kylie quickly, revealing his dinner date plans with both of the pop icons.
He said: "Kylie emailed this week. She was going to Paris on the day I was leaving, so we were emailing about going for dinner.
"She likes Jamie's Italian. I think I'll treat her soon ... I get more joy telling me people about [the celebrity lifestyle] than I actually get from it!
"I've been out for dinner with Tom and spend a lot of time in his dressing room too ... with his top off!"

Liam Payne thinks One Direction will earn male fans

Liam Payne says One Direction will convert male sceptics with their next album.
The 'Story of My Life' singer believes their fourth record will expand their fan base and win over an audience who - thus far - might have dismissed them just for being a boy band.
Speaking to Capital FM, he said: "People say we don't work hard and it's all a game and whatever.
"We just wanna make good music, and this album - honestly, every lad out there tonight who's thinking One Direction are this and that. Literally, next album - pick up our album and see what you feel."
The quintet - whose line-up is competed by Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik - are currently working on their next album and Liam has described their bond as tighter than ever despite constant speculation they could break up to pursue solo careers.
He recently explained: "We have been writing away for the next album and rehearsals are just about to start soon for the tour. We're not splitting up.
"We're on WhatsApp messaging each other all the time, talking about song ideas and just funny stuff from our day.
"It's been a while since we have all been together so we are enjoying being back in each other's company."

Simon Cowell introducing son to grandparents

Simon Cowell is ready to take his son Eric to visit his grandparents.
The 54-year-old media mogul will introduce his baby boy to his US in-laws when the new family visit Lauren Silverman's relatives in Florida before flying to the UK to meet Simon's mother Julie.
An insider told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Simon and Lauren are really looking forward to spending some quality family time together.
"They managed to race through a passport registration for baby Eric this week so he can travel, and Simon is absolutely thrilled at the prospect of introducing his sons to his mum Julie and the rest of his family.
"They're a very tight-knit family and introducing his baby to everyone is huge for Simon. He's very excited."
Meanwhile, it is said Simon has hired a nanny to wait on his newborn son, who will be with the family to provide constant care for Eric.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Simon has hired a top £200,000-a-year nanny from an exclusive Manhattan agency who they interviewed rigorously before selecting.
"She will live with him and Lauren and jet back and forth to London in his private jet or in first class. She will also have a wardrobe allowance.
"So far Simon has barely left his son's side but he knows he will soon be back at work full time and while Lauren is a hands-on mum he's made it clear no expense will be spared to get the best possible help."

Kylie Minogue uses self-help books

Kylie Minogue credits a self-help book with her recent career resurgence.
The 'I Should Be So Lucky' hitmaker has gone through some big changes in her life both personally and professionally - including her split from Andres Velencoso to her upcoming album 'Kiss Me Once' - and she says it was an "epiphany" when she signed with Jay Z's record label Roc Nation.
She told The Sun on Sunday: "Signing to Roc Nation was an epiphany not to go with them, but it makes a change.
"I met with [the label's co-founder] Jay Brown and I happened to be reading a book called 'Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking' at the time, which helped me decided in the first 60 seconds that I met him, 'You're the one, let's do it.' "
While her career might have been given a boost, the 45-year-old singer has insisted her famous bottom is going "south" with age.
She recently said: "In your 40s things tend to go south. I don't think I can live up to expectations.
"I see myself in the mirror every morning and it's not the same as what everyone else sees. It's a less polished version."

Jennifer Lawrence to go on year-long break

Jennifer Lawrence is going to take a year's break from acting.
The 23-year-old actress has made eight films in the past 12 months, and Harvey Weinstein - who worked with her on 'Silver Linings Playbook' - has revealed she is about to have a much earned "rest".
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "She's going to have a long break for a year where she won't do anything. It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest."
The famed producer also defended her decision to not attend the BAFTAs ceremony, despite receiving an award for her role in 'American Hustle'.
He explained: "Jennifer is too nice and will do people favours and agrees to do a movie like 'American Hustle' when she could have had a rest.
"She signed on to do 'Hunger Games' when she was young and wouldn't have realised how much it would dominate her life. But she's a professional and always will be."
On top of her film careers, Jennifer's time has also been taken up as she looks to buy a house in the UK with her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.
A source recently said: "They loved the house as soon as they saw it. They know it's not realistic at this point in their thriving careers to live in the UK, but they want a bolthole across the pond.
"Jen loves the English way of life and as they are now serious again, it makes sense to look into buying somewhere."

Heroes set for TV return in 2015

'Heroes' is set to return to TV with a brand new series.
The popular science fiction show - which followed ordinary people who developed super powers - will be back with 13 episodes and some of the original cast may return.
The new programme will be called 'Heroes Reborn', and TV bosses at US network NBC are "thrilled" to be bringing the franchise back to the small screen.
Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement: "We're thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept.
"Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won't rule out the possibility of some of the show's original cast members popping back in."
While it's not clear which of the earlier stars will return, Masi Oka has hinted he could reprise his role as Hiro Nakamura.
He wrote on Twitter: "Was watching the Olympics and saw the #HeroesReborn trailer. Time to dust off the sword?"

Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell hold final X Factor talks

Cheryl Cole has held final talks with Simon Cowell regarding an 'X Factor' return.
The former judge is said to be "99 per cent" certain to reprise her role on the next series of the TV talent show after meeting the media mogul in Los Angeles to wrap up negotiations.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Her return is now 99 per cent concluded.
"The meeting was a case of tying up some loose ends and things went really well.
"Now Simon and show producers are just waiting on Cheryl's confirmation. Everyone is really excited about the idea of having her back on the show."
Cheryl's decision to fly from London to meet with Simon in the US is reportedly a big sign she is ready to return.
The insider added: "Cheryl is serious about rebuilding a relationship with the show - she wouldn't travel across the Atlantic for the hell of it. She was very keen to hear what Simon's vision is for the new series."
Meanwhile, the 54-year-old show boss has recently hinted that a deal could be close.
He admitted: "I am hopeful we can do something. She still has a poker face at the moment but we both need each other - Cheryl needs the show and we need her. She would be crazy to turn it down."

Ant and Dec won’t ditch the UK

Ant and Dec promise to stay on UK TV instead of a US switch.
The TV duo are planning on last attempt at breaking into the American market, but they have vowed it won't be the last their British fans will see of them because they love their homegrown projects so much.
Declan Donnelly told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "We have so much fun together. We both basically mess about with our best mate and get paid to do it.
"Why would we want to stop doing that? If it was up to us we'd continue doing this forever."
While Dec, 38, insisted he enjoys all their shows - from 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' to 'Britain's Got Talent' - he was "thrilled" when their programme 'Saturday Night Takeaway' was brought back.
He added: "All the shows we do are incredible to work on. We know how lucky we are and we're really proud to part of them.
"We were especially thrilled when 'Takeaway' came back because we've always had so much fun doing it."

Billy Bob Thornton blasts social media

Billy Bob Thornton thinks social media has turned people into "blithering idiots".
The 58-year-old actor believes people should have the right to express their opinions but doesn't think social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter are the best place to do it and claims he won't be joining in any time soon.
He said: "Twitter and Facebook, and all these things, are making people into blithering idiots. I don't use any of that mess. In the '60s we would say 'power to the people' but that's not what we meant. We didn't mean every moron on Earth tweeting into CNN to say what you think."
The 'Sling Blade' star also spoke out to say that although people are now more interested in expressing their own opinions on these new platforms, he thinks their less likely to listen to the ideas of others.
He added to Total Film magazine: "I think it's a very apathetic period. I think because of the internet, videogames, stuff like that... now it's not popular to stand up on a soap box and preach to people about what you believe. Now they think you're crazy if you speak your mind. But I'm doing it anyway."

Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner split

Harry Styles has split from Kendall Jenner.
The One Direction heart throb is said to have broken up with the Kardashian sister due to their work commitments, with him kept busy with the band and "focusing on her modelling".
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, an insider revealed: "Kendall has been focusing on her modelling and Harry is preparing for work on the band's fourth album, as well as their stadium tour.
"The reality is that with everything they both have going on it's impossible to sustain anything serious."
Despite their recent break up, the pair are reportedly "still friends" after their relationship came to an end without any "major" arguments, and they could try again in the future.
The source added: "There's been no major fallout. They're definitely still friends and haven't ruled anything out in the future."
While his relationship might be over, the 'Story of My Life' hitmaker recently insisted the group is as strong as ever with no plans to call it quits.
He said: "We're not breaking up. We've spent every day together for months and forgot what my mum looked like. It's just holidays."

Scarlett Johansson ditches catsuit

Scarlett Johansson has ditched her catsuit for 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
The 29-year-old actress will reprise her role as the Black Widow from 'The Avengers' to join forces with the Captain, however she'll appear slightly different from her original character with a sleek new hairdo, brown leather jacket and a pair of knee high brown boots replacing her blonde curls and catsuit.
She confessed: "I don't spend a lot of time in my catsuit in this one."
The 'Lost in Translation' star also spoke about the connection between her character and the Captain - who is played by Chris Evans - and says they grow much closer together as they struggle to realise they have to trust each other if they want to survive.
She added to Total Film magazine: "Everything is not as it seems. It's not so black and white, it's not so cut and dry, it's not good versus evil. The stakes are much higher. It brings them closer together because they find themselves in a vulnerable situation and they're in it together."
Scarlett's co-star Chris agreed with her and admitted that trust is definitely an issue for the two characters as their lives revolve around secrecy.
He said: "I think Black Widow's whole arc is coming to terms with her history - that she's been a spy, and spies aren't necessarily trustworthy. That's kind of Cap's struggle as well. He works for an agency that deals in secrets, and trust is a big issue."
