Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow in double baby shock

'Coronation Street's' Peter Barlow is to hit the bottle again after discovering his mistress Tina McIntyre is pregnant with his baby.
The recovering alcoholic - who is played by Chris Gascoyne - will turn to booze after the beautiful barmaid (Michelle Keegan) admits she's carrying his child following their ongoing passionate affair, reports the Daily Star newspaper.
In explosive scenes to be aired next month, Tina blurts out the news during a row.
She tells him: "You can be hard-faced sometimes, unless it's something you want, and then it's all charm and smiles.
"I think I'm pregnant. I haven't done the test yet but I'm late and I recognise the signs."
Peter then walks out on her, admitting: "Sorry, I can't take it in. I have to go."
However, the news couldn't come at a worse time for Peter as his wife Carla (Alison King) will also soon discover she's expecting their first child as well.
The baby dilemma will force the hunk into a meltdown and he'll turn to alcohol in a bid to cope with his lies and infidelity.
Carla will then turn to Peter's ex-wife Leanne Tilsley (Jane Danson) in a bid to seek comfort.
During a heart-to-heart with Leanne, Carla says: "He's drunk. I don't know what to do. It's been going on for two weeks. It's never going to end, is it?"
However, Leanne replies: "You can't blame yourself. It's what he does. It's not going to get any easier. Not today or tomorrow."
Meanwhile, Michelle is set to leave the cobbles in May in a mysterious whodunnit murder plot.

Matt and Emma Willis rehearsed lines in bed

Emma Willis helped Matt Willis learn 'EastEnders' lines in bed.
The Busted singer-turned-actor sought help from his famous wife - who hosts 'The Voice' UK and 'Big Brother' - as he read scripts for the BBC One soap, in which he plays the returning Stacey Branning's boyfriend Luke Riley.
Matt told The Sun newspaper: "I always learn lines better when I have someone reading them back to me. We'd sit in bed and read 'EastEnders' scripts.
"It was great fun and really helpful. Emma got into it. Her cockney accent is hilarious."
The 30-year-old star has wrapped his brief stint in Albert Square and isn't sure about a return to the show after forming musical super-group McBusted, who are set to go on tour for much of the year.
He added: "I have got a pretty full-on year but this was nice to do and I have the chance to come back if I want to.
"McBusted are touring until the end of July then we are talking about South America and Japan at the end of the year.
"I can't see myself doing more 'EastEnders' in this year's schedule but who knows what will happen next year."

Gemma Collins becomes ‘born-again virgin’

Gemma Collins has become a "born-again virgin".
'The Only Way is Essex' star has sworn that she will stay single and abstain from sex for a year following her failed engagement to Rami Hawash.
The bubbly blonde got engaged to Rami over Christmas but their engagement lasted just three weeks.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm a born-again virgin. I'm not looking for any man. I'm off sex and off men - and I'll be staying well away. I've taken a chastity vow, hopefully for a year.
"I went through such a bad time that the thought of going out with someone else is just a big no. I'm not looking for love. I've got no interest."
The 33-year-old reality star also insists she isn't wallowing over the end of her relationship.
She added: "I'm having loads of fun. I was out last night having a good drink until 5am, and I'm having a brilliant time. It's so nice to be able to enjoy myself."
And Gemma even threw herself a big celebration after calling off her brief engagement to Rami, whom she has been dating on-and-off since 2011.
She revealed: "My freedom party was absolutely amazing. All the cast were there and Arg serenaded me."
Gemma previously claimed she ended her relationship due to Rami's alleged abusive behaviour.
She said: "He made me feel bad about myself. He'd say I was a 'fatsie'. If I got dressed up to go out he'd say, 'Look at you' with this sneer on his face and tell me I should put on jeans and a top. We would row all the time.
"I honestly think I went through a nervous breakdown. I felt under such pressure."

Alec Baldwin wants to leave New York

Alec Baldwin is ready to leave New York.
The '30 Rock' actor is beginning to "crave" Los Angeles after over 30 years in the Big Apple because he thinks he would be able to give wife Hilaria and their six-month-old daughter Carmen a more peaceful and private life.
He said: "To be a New Yorker meant you gave everybody five feet. You gave everybody their privacy. And now we don't leave each other alone. Now we live in a digital arena, like some Roman Colosseum, with our thumbs up or thumbs down...
"I probably have to move out of New York. I just can't live in New York anymore. Everything I hated about LA I'm beginning to crave. LA is a place where you live behind a gate, you get in a car, your interaction with the public is minimal. I used to hate that. But New York has changed.
"I want my newest child to have as normal and decent a life as I can provide. New York doesn't seem the place for that anymore."
Last year saw Alec's MSNBC talk show axed following allegations he had used homophobic slurs, while his Broadway run in 'Orphans' ended early and experienced a cast change before opening following his tensions with co-star Shia LaBeouf.
Though the 55-year-old actor - who also has 18-year-old daughter Ireland with ex-wife Kim Basinger - had a "great" 2013 because of the birth of his youngest child, he admits professionally, things were "pretty awful".
In a lengthy essay for New York magazine, he wrote: "I've read where a number of people have felt that 2013 was a s***ty year. For me, it was actually a great year, because my wife and I had a baby. But, yeah, everything else was pretty awful. And I find myself bitter, defensive, and more misanthropic than I care to admit.
"And I'm trying to understand what happened, how an altercation on the street, in which I was accused -- wrongly -- of using a gay slur, could have cascaded like this. There's been a shift in my life. And it's caused me to step back and say, 'This is happening for a reason.' "

Emma Thompson visits Heathers cast in character

Emma Thompson offered "freshly baked meat pies" to the cast of 'Heathers: The Musical'.
The 54-year-old actress is currently rehearsing for the New York Philharmonic's upcoming production of 'Sweeney Todd' and couldn't resist calling in on the stars of the off-Broadway show in character as Mrs. Lovett, the neighbour of the 'demon barber', who helps dispose of his victims by baking them into pies.
A source at the rehearsal studio where both productions are preparing told the New York Post newspaper: "Thompson has been rehearsing upstairs. And she paid a surprise visit on Thursday to the cast of 'Heathers' to welcome them with some 'freshly baked meat pies' in her full Mrs. Lovett costume."
According to the insider, Emma curtsied and said in a cockney accent: "I've brung you some pies . . . I don't think you know anyone that's in 'em. But you never know!" And, "I thank you with all my heart -- not my hips -- but my heart."
The 'Sense and Sensibility' actress then broke character to praise the 'Heathers' cast.
She told them: "We hear you warbling in the most wonderful ways."
'Sweeney Todd' opens on March 5 at Avery Fisher Hall, while 'Heathers' - based on Winona Ryder and Christian Slater's 1988 movie - debuts March 15 at New World Stages.

Kylie Minogue: Michael Hutchence ‘opened my eyes to world’

Kylie Minogue admits Michael Hutchence opened her "eyes to the world".
The 45-year-old singer dated the 'Never Tear Us Apart' hitmaker for two years from 1989 until 1991 when he left her to embark on a romance with Helena Christensen, and the blonde beauty insists her former lover is responsible for so many of her life experiences.
She said: "Let's just say I was 21 and my eyes were open to the world.
"You want to experience everything and I couldn't think of a better person to, you know, take those first steps into the big wide world with."
The former couple remained close friends until the INXS frontman committed suicide at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Sydney, Australia, in 1997 while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Kylie explained to Australia's GQ magazine: "I remember thinking that at the time, that of course his was the first funeral and the first kind of thing like that because Michael was just so many firsts in my life ... He was. Yes, he was."
After Michael's romance with Helena, he went on to date Paula Yates and fathered Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof - who is known as Tiger Lily - in 1996, but she was raised by Bob Geldof following Paula's death in 2000.
However, Michael's INXS' bandmate Kirk Pengilly claims he had "planned to leave" Paula - who he started dating in 1995 following the breakdown of her marriage to Bob - before his death and the group don't think the rocker would approve of his little girl being raised by her half-sisters' father.
Speaking to Australia's Channel 7, guitarist Tim Farris added: "Michael hated Bob in the end so much, to think that he would end up as the sole parent of Tiger Lily would have been the most horrific thing he could have imagined. But luckily for Tiger she had Bob at the end."

Mike Tyson cancels UK tour

Mike Tyson has cancelled his UK tour.
The former heavyweight boxing champion - who was convicted of rape in 1992 and served three years of his six-year sentence - has been forced to scrap his 'Undisputed Truth' gigs next month due to a change in the UK's immigration law which means he is no longer allowed into the country.
Mike said: "With great disappoint I have to cancel the UK portion of my European tour. Because of new immigration laws, my status for entry is no longer eligible.
"However, I have taken every possible step within the parameters of UK law to regain entry. I am truly grateful for my UK fans and have always considered this country my second home so it is disheartening that I am no longer granted entry.
"I hope at some point I will be allowed entry back into the country that has afforded me so many cherished memories. In the mean time, I send my sincerest apologies to my fans that purchased tickets and have been inconvenienced by this due process.
"Please understand this is all out of my control. I was looking forward to performing and meeting you all. I hope in the near future I am still given the opportunity to do so."
A full refund will be available from the point of purchase.
The 47-year-old star also had to cancel his book tour last year after he was banned from entering the country due to his criminal record.
Mike was expected to fly into London in December to promote his autobiography 'Undisputed Truth', but he took a detour to Paris, France, after being refused access to the UK.

The cancelled UK tour dates are as follows:
March 21 - Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, London
March 22 - Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, London
March 23 - Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, London
March 25 - Clyde Auditorium - Glasgow
March 26 - Manchester O2 Apollo - Manchester

Jennifer Lawrence: BAFTA win was big surprise

Jennifer Lawrence thought her BAFTA win was a prank.
The 23-year-old star was in the "middle of being painted blue" while filming re-shoots for her role as Mystique in the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', in Montreal, Canada when she received the call explaining she'd won Best Supporting Actress at the awards evening which took place in London on February 16.
She told deadline.com: "Oh, it was a big surprise. I didn't remember that the BAFTAs were happening that day. I certainly did not think I was going to win one so I put it out of my mind.
"So there I was, in the middle of being painted blue, and someone said, 'You just won the BAFTA!' And I said, 'Oh, go f**k yourself!' And then it turned out they were serious."
Although Lawrence was gutted she missed out on the star-studded bash, she admitted it was a relief not to have to worry about making a speech.
She added: "It has been a bit of a blessing to be away, and not really aware of what has been going on. It actually has been really nice."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty is up against '12 Years A Slave' star Lupita Nyong'o, Blue Jasmine's Sally Hawkins, August: Osage County's Julia Roberts and June Squibb in 'Nebraska', for Best Supporting Actress at the 86th Academy Awards on March 2.

Beck binned songs after hearing Kanye West

Beck scrapped new songs he'd written after listening to Kanye West.
The 'Loser' hitmaker, who releases his new album 'Morning Phase' today (24.02.14), binned some of his material after hearing songs by the 'Black Skinhead' rapper, who he felt had already achieved what he set out to do.
Beck experimented with 'vocal pitching' for a record and said: "I was really excited about it, but then Kanye West record came out and pitching was everywhere, so that whole body of material just became irrelevant to me."
The 43-year-old singer scrapped the tracks, much like he did when he recorded a "guitar rock" record, after deciding "there are people who do that so well it seemed pointless."
Beck is now excited about completing his first record in six years, the follow-up to 'Modern Guilt', after recovering from a major spinal injury, which prevented him from working.
He told The Sunday Times newspaper's Culture magazine: "I was limited to what I could play and sing. Physical therapy became full-time, but then, in the last two years, it just got better. That's huge. I wasn't able to participate. I had a lot of isolation," he added: "But I've been busy, in my way."
And he insists he isn't going to bombard his fans with promotional material encouraging them to buy his new music.
He added: "I've always put trust in my audience. They always found the music. I never had the instinct to bludgeon people with marketing. I turned down a lot of it in the 1990s. I turned down all of it!"

Harry Styles wrote song with John Legend

Harry Styles has written a track with John Legend.
The One Direction hunk penned the song with the 'All of Me' hitmaker as part of his work unrelated to the boy band and it has been pitched to US 'X Factor' duo Alex and Sierra for their debut album.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Sierra said: "Our favourite [song] is one that Harry Styles wrote with John Legend, it's beautiful and lovely.
"[Harry] is actually an amazing writer, he's pitched us a few other good ones and they're really good."
The 20-year-old singer is said to have worked on nearly 20 tracks and has been described as an "amazing writer" by music mogul Simon Cowell.
The 'X Factor' boss recently took to Twitter to reveal he had been listening to the "fantastic" demos for Alex and Sierra.
He posted: "Am listening to the Alex and Sierra demos for their upcoming album. Fantastic. It's seriously good. I can't wait for everyone to hear it."
Lyrics for the romantic ballad include: "I saw your face, I heard your name / Felt the blood rushing through my veins / I still remember / How could I forget?"
A source added: "It's a testament to Harry's talents that he can work alongside John - who is, without doubt, one of the most gifted songwriters of a generation."
Harry, who is still focused on work with his band mates Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, is credited to 26 songs on the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers database - 18 of which have never been heard before.
American indie pop duo Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton won the third and final season of the US version of 'The X Factor' and were mentored by Simon Cowell.
They were the only group ever to win the American show.
