ITV’s Daybreak renamed Good Morning Britain

Susanna Reid is set to host a revival of 'Good Morning Britain' from next week.
The newsreader will replace Aled Jones and Lorraine Kelly as the face of the revamped ITV breakfast show, which is being renamed from its current moniker 'Daybreak', according to The Sun newspaper.
The new name harks back to the show's 80s heyday and TV bosses are hopeful the long-running programme will be revitalised and ratings boosted by its fourth dramatic overhaul to date.
Susanna, who currently helms BBC1 rival 'Breakfast', will anchor 'Good Morning Britain' from Mondays to Thursdays with the help of two new male presenters and one woman, while Lorraine returns to her flagship show and Aled has landed a new weekend magazine slot.
A source told the paper: "The 'Daybreak' saga is the most pressing issue on ITV's agenda. By ditching the 'Daybreak' name bosses are admitting it has no hope of being rescued. Instead, they are putting all their energies into a revamped 'Good Morning Britain' brand.
"With Susanna Reid riding a wave of popularity, they hope she will be the one to inject some success into ITV breakfast."
'Good Morning Britain' was first launched in 1983 as a mix of current affairs, weather, cartoons, music and famous guests.
This comes as it was revealed 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Susanna has split from her husband Dominic Cotton after the father-of-three posted an ad on a dating website and listing himself as "currently separated".

Adam McKay: Anchorman is over

Director Adam McKay has revealed there will be no more 'Anchorman' sequels.
The filmmaker quashed all hope for a third installment of the side-splitting comedy franchise by confirming 2013's 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' would be the last outing for hapless newsreader Ron Burgundy, played by Will Ferrell.
He told Empire magazine: "It's done. I think that's it. It was great to do it and it was so fun to work with those guys again, but I think that's it for Ron Burgundy.
"That's the last sequel we're gonna do. There's nothing more fun to me than new characters and a new world. And now we're releasing this alt version, we're totally satisfied. No 'Anchorman 3'."
The sequel notched up an impressive $169 million worldwide to date at the boxoffice, compared to the first film's $95 million, after cultivating a cult status since the original's release in 2004.
Meanwhile, McKay revealed he was prioritising his long-awaited remake of the 1970s comedy, 'Uptown Saturday Night', with Will Smith as his next project.
He explained: "You never fully know, but that's the one I'm putting my chips on for now. We're working on the rewrite with Nick Stoller and it's getting really good.
"We already did 'The Other Guys', I didn't want to go into the traditional buddy film genre, I want it to be something different and I think we found it in the last week."

Melanie Chisholm hints at Spice Girls reunion

Melanie Chisholm has hinted the Spice Girls could reform in 2016.
The singer, formerly known as Sporty Spice, has revealed the girl power group could get back together for a brief reunion tour to mark the 20-year anniversary of the release of their iconic debut single 'Wannabe'.
She said: "It's funny isn't it because people are saying it's the 20 year anniversary of the Spice Girls, and we did get together in '94, but 'Wannabe' wasn't released until '96 so we don't really see it until '96.
"And you might see a few of us having a little dance about on stage, no plans, but we'll see what we can do for you."
However, Melanie and her pals Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Geri Halliwell might have trouble convincing their former bandmate Victoria Beckham to join them, since she has put her music career firmly behind her and insisted last year the girls' performance at the London 2012 Olympics performance would be their last.
She claimed: "I won't ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British...That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."
The Spice Girls previously reunited for a sell-out 2008 world tour, 'The Return of the Spice Girls'.

Susanna Reid splits from Dominic Cotton

Susanna Reid has split from Dominic Cotton.
The 'BBC Breakfast' host and former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant's relationship has come to an end, with Dominic posting a profile on a dating website and listing himself as "currently separated".
Dominic - who has three children, Sam, 11, Finn, nine, and Jack, eight - with Susanna lists his occupation as executive/management and claims his best feature is his "bum".
His profile states: "Underneath my blokeish exterior I am a sensitive soul. I enjoy sharing things and am someone who doesn't shy away from commitment. Life is for living with someone special."
Susanna's punishing schedule - which sees her undertake a 415-mile round trip from London to Salford to present 'BBC Breakfast' three times a week - is unlikely to have helped their relationship, and her current involvement in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' tour could have put even more strain on the couple.
After 'Strictly' finished in December, Dominic admitted Susanna's schedule had been "tough" and "really full on" for them both, adding he was "looking forward to having his partner back."
Just last year Susanna, 43, talked about her strong bond with Dominic, but said marriage wasn't important to her.
She told the Daily Express newspaper: "People get confused - they think maybe I'm not attached because I don't wear a ring. But it's quite common now for couples not to be married, and it works for us.
"I was a commitment-phobe until I met Dominic. But he's taught me a lot. He's very supportive and accepts why I don't want to get married. I had a choppy childhood after my parents divorced, and I want us to do it our way.
"The commitment and wanting a family unit for the children is our priority."

Gemma Collins would marry Arg

Gemma Collins would marry James 'Arg' Argent if he popped the question.
'The Only Way Is Essex' star - who recently split from fiancé Rami Hawash - has had an on/off relationship with her co-star in the past and she admits she would tie the knot given the chance, and anticipates it being a momentous occasion.
She said: "I wouldn't think twice about it [marrying Arg]. It'd be the ultimate 'TOWIE' wedding. Tom Pearce will tell you. "
Gemma probed her co-star Tom - who is also Arg's pal - and he replied: "Yeah, he's in love."
The blonde beauty admits she has a "soft spot" for Arg and would be at his beck and call if he ever needed her.
She exclaimed: "Arg has always been in my mind. There's nothing I wouldn't do for him. If he rang me up at three o'clock in the morning and asked me to bring him a chicken stew, I'd do it. We're always kissing and cuddling behind the scenes during filming."
Gemma insists a fortune teller has read her future and thinks she will settle down will her 'TOWIE' co-star, who she'll also have a child with.
She added to Now magazine: "I've been to thousands of fortune tellers. This lady comes to my house with her pendulum and she reckons I'll have a baby and marry Arg. I tell him, 'I'm sexy and I know it - and you know it, Arg!' If he said, 'Will you be my girlfriend?', I'd throw a big party."

Kieron Richardson misses Emmet J. Scanlan

Kieron Richardson misses former 'Hollyoaks' co-star Emmet J. Scanlan.
The 28-year-old actor - who plays Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap - admits it's "weird" not finding scenes between his character and Emmet's Brendan Brady - who left Hollyoaks village last year - when he flicks through his scripts.
He said: "I can't lie about it - there's a big gaping hole in each day! It's weird to pick up a script and not see a Ste and Brendan scene. Whenever I'm filming and there's a Brendan moment, I think , 'Oh, I wonder if Emmet is watching?'
"I do get a little message off him now and again and I'm proud that he's doing so well.
"It's surreal to see him without his moustache, though!"
Kieron has been involved in numerous dramatic since joining 'Hollyoaks' in 2006, but he says his favourite is the assisted suicide storyline featuring Ste's mum Pauline (Julie Hogarth).
He revealed to Inside Soap magazine: "It was really draining emotionally and I had to push myself into quite a dark place and use stuff I'd gone through in my personal life to get there. It was kind of traumatic and it's disturbing to watch back because I remember how upset I was during those scenes. But I felt really pleased with it all."

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are engaged

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are reportedly engaged.
The actress was spotted wearing a giant diamond sparkler on her ring finger while out shopping with her mother at outdoor mall The Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday (27.02.14), sparking speculation her boyfriend of almost two years has proposed.
A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly, adding: "She is crazy about him!"
The 'Ted' star, who is notoriously private about her love life, also uploaded an adorable picture of her and Ashton grinning ear-to-ear on Instagram the previous day along with the words, "I love you @kutcher78".
Fans were quick to congratulate the couple - who first met 16 years ago on the set of 'That 70's Show' - enthusing, "Congrats on your engagement!" and "Jackie and Kelso congrats".
No strangers to rumours about their relationship, it seems things could be real this time since Ashton's divorce from Demi Moore, who he separated from in 2011, was officially finalised in November.
The 36-year-old funnyman started dating Mila, 30, in April 2012 and they have been inseparable ever since.
Wedding bell rumours first surfaced in December when Mila wore a gold band on her engagement finger ahead of her brother's Michael's wedding.
Kurtwood Smith, who played no-nonsense dad Red 'That 70's Show', previously joked about the show's on-screen lovebirds getting together in real life: "It's amazing. They're both great people, so I'm happy for them. Maybe they should get married. We'll all go to the wedding and that could be the reunion. It'll be a reality show."

Angelina Jolie gets cooking lessons

Angelina Jolie has been having cooking lessons.
The A-list actress was allegedly given a crash course in culinary skills by a personal chef while in Australia directing her new movie 'Unbroken' in a bid to become a domestic goddess.
The 38-year-old star - who previously admitted her son Pax's kitchen know-how surpassed her own - is determined to be able to rustle up healthy meals for her six children.
According to Us Weekly, the kids - Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, seven, and twins Knox and Vivienne, five, who she raises with her fiancé Brad Pitt - are the "worst eaters" and cooking for them is tricky because they "want to eat different things at different times."
Angelina is said to be "very proud" of her new skills and has been testing them out at home on her brood.
Brad also struggles in the kitchen and reportedly resorted to asking his chef friend, British star Jamie Oliver, for advice on how to prepare a Christmas dinner in 2012.
An insider said at the time: "Brad asked him to do it after he begged Jamie for cookery lessons last year. Jamie tried to teach him but he's useless in the kitchen."

Ice Cube took guns on tour in early days

Ice Cube took guns on tour with him before he was famous.
The 44-year-old star - real name O'Shea Jackson - toured with American hip hop group N.W.A (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) between the late 80s and into the 90s, and during the early years he felt he needed weapons to help stay safe.
Talking about his early N.W.A days, he explained: "We were in Detroit once with Ice-T and his crew, and some local gangsters came into the hotel, knocking on every door, looking for their people. We weren't having it, so the assault rifles came out. We were about to have war on the top floor of a damn Marriott [laughs]. I'm thinking, 'I could have stayed in South Central for this s**t.' But this was the early days, when we took guns on tour with us."
Ice Cube insists that after he found fame he decided guns were best left with the police.
Asked about whether he felt they needed guns, he told ShortList magazine: "Yeah. We felt like we'd never been to Detroit or Chicago - if they 'banging out here like they are in LA, we need guns. At a certain point, though, it was just like, 'Dude, we're famous now. We don't need guns. Let's just use the police. That's what they're there for.'"

Kim Kardashian’s designer ban for North

North West has been banned from wearing designer clothes until she is older.
The eight-month-old tot's parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be notorious fashionistas - with the rapper starting a separate career as a fashion designer - but she isn't going to be wearing anything too chic until she's grown a little more.
Kim told People magazine: "[North] has not actually worn anything designer yet. Kids get dirty, she'll spit up. She moves around so much. I saw this one cute dress that was $500, and I was like, 'Absolutely not!' I just want her in little onesies or leggings."
Kim, 33, has previously shown off a number of designer items which have been set to her for North since her birth, but at the moment she's fine dressing her hand-me-downs from her older sister Kourtney, who has 20-month-old daughter Penelope.
She added: "Despite what it looks like on Instagram, my daughter is not spoiled at all. Kourtney saves everything from her daughter, and gives it to me.
"I tried to put North in a faux fur vest, but she hated it. She doesn't mind headbands [that don't] pull her hair."

Ice Cube is a sore loser

Ice Cube is a "sore loser".
The 44-year-old star - real name O'Shea Jackson - worked with George Clooney in 1999's 'Three Kings' and admits the notorious prankster avoided playing tricks on him while they were filming since he would "get upset".
He explained: "No, you don't prank someone who ain't a practical joker, because I'm going to get upset. I'm a sore loser. You can make me laugh from over there, but don't hit me or spill s**t on me."
Ice Cube claims Clooney isn't up to the same cheeky pranks he used to play on friends in the Hollywood hunk's younger days.
He told ShortList magazine: "Seriously, though, Clooney's a motherf****r [laughs]. He ain't no joke. He talked to me about poking holes in his friends' condoms and s**t [laughs].
"This was in his younger days, I don't know if he'd still go that far, but Clooney has no boundaries, man. You don't play with Clooney."
Ice Cube has recently hit the big screen in 'Ride Along' and there are talks of a sequel for a 2015 release.

Pharrell Williams defends album cover

Pharrell Williams has defended the cover of his new album 'G I R L' after it sparked racial controversy.
The 'Happy' hitmaker received criticism for the artwork, which features him stood next to three women, because critics assumed they were all white and thought he should have included a black woman on the cover.
He told radio station Power 105.1: "What really disappointed me is that, man, [the critics] jumped the gun 'cause the woman I'm standing closest to is black and she's a black girl from Wisconsin I used to date over 10, 12 years ago.
"That must suck for people to just look at something and assume they know what's going on..."
The 40-year-old singer, who is now married to Helen Lasichanh, also praised black women, in particular '12 Years a Slave' star Lupita Nyong'o.
He gushed: "I told her two weeks ago at the Oscars luncheon her skin was flawless, I love her skin, my god."
Pharrell insists if people listen to his new album, which is released on March 4, they will realise it's an "ode to women".
He said: "The one thing I'm trying to help and change is that crazy standard that you have to be white, wafer thin for you to be beautiful," adding: "They just reported I'm the first black person to go number one on pop radio since Rihanna, but then you're gonna shoot at me. "My mom is a black woman, my business is run by a another black women and I'm married to a black woman, what are you talking about?"
