The 'Legally Blonde' actress celebrated her 38th birthday on Saturday night (22.03.14) with her mother and a group of close friends at a bowling alley in Nashville, Tennessee.
The mother-of-three - who has 14-year-old daughter Ava and 10-year-old son Deacon with actor Ryan Phillippe, and 17-month-old son Tennessee with her husband Jim Toth - seemed to be having a blast as she posed for pals to document her attempts at bowling a strike.
She wrote on her WhoSay account: "Having a ball at my birthday! #nashvegas#goodfriends#bowlersnotballers".
Reese also shared an adorable selfie of her smiling alongside her mother Betty, thanking her for her support over the years.
She posted: "Thank you to my amazing mother! #happybirthday#9months#birthandbeyond".
The star kicked off her acting career age 12 in Tennessee and has spoken openly in the past about how grateful she is that her parents kept her grounded as a teenager.
She said: "Thank God my parents did this, but they told me I had to stay in school. I was allowed to work in the summers but I couldn't work in the school year. They said, 'You're not moving to California, that's where crazy people live'."

An insider told Us Weekly: "They're talking all the time. It's not over yet."
The 29-year-old brunette has just moved into Justin Bieber's former Calabasas, California, mansion - which cost her a cool $7.2 million - and is said to be building an inside basketball court in her new home, which Lamar hopes could be a sign of a potential reconciliation.
Another source added: "Her installing a basketball court really says something. He thinks he could get Khloe back."
The 34-year-old sports star is currently back in the US after quitting Spanish basketball team Laboral Kutxa due to an injury.
Khloe recently admitted she found it heartbreaking watching her marital troubles play out on her family's E! reality show, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.
She confessed: "It's definitely not anything I'm through. I'm going through it, but I'm not through it. It's really hard to watch yourself on TV too.

The R&B singer invited a dozen of her closest pals including the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' stars to a special bash held in a private residence in West Hollywood, California, on Saturday (22.03.14).
Kim shrugged off her VOGUE magazine cover controversy by dressing to impress in a white maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit teamed with a matching crop top, while her mother Kris arrived laden with a basket full of presents for the baby.
The reality stars were joined by presenter LaLa Anthony as they posed for photos with proud mother-to-be Ciara, who looked gorgeous in a Naeem Khan lace-embroidered kaftan.
Sharing a picture of her "BFFs", Kim wrote on Twitter: "Celebrating @Ciara's baby shower today with @lala #mommymemories."

The 'Goodies' hitmaker is reportedly having a son with her rapper fiancé Future, although she has yet to confirm the sex of the baby.
The couple - who got engaged in October - announced they were expecting a child in January and Future let slip their firstborn was going to be a boy by referring to the baby as "him" during a recent interview.
According to the MailOnline, the Kardashians' present seems to have confirmed the rumours since the giant basket contained items including a blue car toy and a pirate's hat.

Justin Bieber got tattooed during a plane journey.
The 20-year-old singer has joined the mile high club - by getting two religious symbols inked at 40,000 feet above the ground on a private flight from Panama to Canada last month.
The new tattoos were etched by famed artist Bang Bang, the man behind Rihanna and Katy Perry's body art, just days after Justin was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI) and drag racing in Miami.
He told the New York Daily News: "It was really difficult. The plane was shaking, so it's like trying to do a tattoo while you're driving over rocks ... and so I have to compensate and be so, so accurate. I've gotta admit that my adrenaline was through the roof. I didn't anticipate it would be so difficult.
This was the most difficult tattoo I've ever done for sure.
"It was extremely bumpy and the pilot would call back to us and say 'Hey we've got a little bit of turbulence coming up.' We were trying to find the pockets when the plane was smooth."
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer opted for a giant cross on his chest and the word "Forgive" on the right hand side of his stomach as a tribute to his belief in Jesus Christ and his ability to forgive people of their sins.
The session took an hour and a half and Bang Bang is hopeful the stunt might get the pair into the Guinness Book of World Records.
He added: "I'm trying to see if we broke a record because we filmed it and documented it, it would be a cool record to have broken, the highest altitude tattoo."
Justin is currently awaiting trial following his arrest on January 28 and has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license.

Pharrell Williams can't control his own success.
The 'Happy' hitmaker - whose single was nominated for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards this year - insists he cannot control how well a track does since it's down to fans, and whether or not they purchase and share the tune.
Pharrell said: "Success means the people voted, they requested, they shared it with a friend, they purchased it, they downloaded it. And they did it in large numbers. That is what success means. I have nothing to do with that. I can only control what I do."
The 40-year-old musician admits he used to think differently and measure happiness against success but understands it can be detrimental to focus on success, and get "hooked".
Pharrell added to Red Bulletin magazine: "When I was young, yeah, I looked at it differently, because I looked at a lot of people who quantified their happiness by how successful they were. And, nobody wants to work really hard and not get recognised for it.
"You want to be appreciate for your work. But there is a fine line between appreciating your work and doing super well and you getting hooked on that. If you get hooked on success you're screwed."

Jennifer Lawrence "struggled" with Mystique's darker side.
The 23-year-old actress plays the villainous, blue-hued mutant shapeshifter in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and she often contemplated going off-script for the darker scenes.
She said: "I was struggling back and forth with wanting to get darker ... There was one scene where I couldn't get past thinking she'd shoot someone where she doesn't in the script. We filmed it both ways, but I don't know which one they'll use."
The actress also gushed about her time working with director Bryan Singer and was delighted when she found out he was going to helm the project.
Quizzed on working with Singer, she told Total Film magazine: "It was amazing! There was a tiny fan boy inside of me jumping up and down and screaming when he decided to direct."
Talking about Singer sharing the experience with fans on Twitter, Lawrence added: "He took pictures of everything. He always had his phone out. He was like a 13-year-old girl at a premiere."

She admitted "We don't really go out-out that much because people spend the whole time [staring].
"It's weird. So we just normally eat at home. She loves it when I cook, but she's a really good cook too - even though she doesn't think she is."
Dannii also hinted at her romance with producer Adrian Newman, saying she is "happy", but refusing to give any more details.
She added: "I don't want to talk about any relationship stuff, but I'm happy and life is good. There's not much more to say."

Sir Tom Jones wants to convince Kylie Minogue to remain in her role as a coach on 'The Voice'.
The 73-year-old singer admitted he hopes his fellow mentor will sign on for the next series, and insisted the show should keep the same judging panel for another year because "it feels good".
According to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, he said: "The show is working now. Everybody seems to like the line-up so why spoil it? Why change it if it's working and it feels good?
"I don't know what the commitments are that Kylie has but I'd try to persuade her to stay on.
"Kylie and Ricky [Wilson] are being themselves and this combination works - that's the main thing."
The 'I Should Be So Lucky' hitmaker has revealed her touring schedule means she won't be able to return despite enjoying her time on the show so far.
She explained: "I'm touring later this year and the timings wouldn't work.
"We started filming in November last year and I'm on tour in September, October and November this year ... I have loved doing the show although there have been parts that have been really emotional."
