Michael Le Vell ready to leave rehab?

Michael Le Vell is reportedly preparing to leave rehab.
The 'Coronation Street' star sought professional help after he admitted to snorting cocaine during his child abuse trial last year, but he's now said to be ready to leave the clinic.
A friend of the actor - who was cleared of all charges - told The Sun newspaper: "He now feels better than he has done in years. He really believes he's turned a corner this time."
Michael - who has been temporarily written out of Corrie storylines - hasn't found his treatment easy but is said to be desperate to prove he's ready to return to his role as car mechanic Kevin Webster on the ITV soap.
The pal continued: "Michael has found rehab a tough slog.
"He realised it was probably his last chance with Coronation Street bosses and wanted to give it his best shot."
The 49-year-old soap star told those closest to him that he needed space during his time in rehab so that he could put all of his energy into getting better.
The source added: "He purposefully asked friends and family to stay away so he could be totally focused.
"Apart from the odd phone call, he has had no contact with his family or friends."
Michael made his return to Weatherfield last month, but has been written out of the soap again so that he can focus on his treatment.

Katy Perry fuels Diplo romance rumours

Katy Perry and Diplo appeared to be "more than friends" at Coachella this weekend.
The 'Roar' hitmaker - who recently split from John Mayer after 18 months of dating - has been pals with the DJ for a long time, but onlookers at the first weekend of the Californian music festival said they looked closer than ever at the Jeremy Scott and Adidas Party on Saturday (12.04.14).
A source said: "Diplo was hanging out with Katy pretty much the whole night."
Another source added to RadarOnline.com: "They've been friends forever. It definitely looked like more than than that! At one point he even had his arms around her."
The 29-year-old singer reportedly had one female fan thrown out of the party - which she hadn't been invited to - after spending too long with Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz.
The source added: "Katy had the girl thrown out! She was yelling and kind of upset about it. The girl didn't have a wristband and was a total sloppy party crasher, but still, it was kind of surprising."
Katy - who was previously married to Russell Brand - and Diplo were seen together again backstage on Sunday (13.04.14), and left together after watching Lana del Rey perform.
News of a possible new romance for the 'Dark Horse' singer could disappoint Robert Pattinson's friends, as it was previously reported the 'Twilight Saga' hunk's pals were hoping for a relationship between the pair after they were also seen hanging out at Coachella.

Pharrell Williams cries on Oprah

Pharrell Williams wept with happiness over his success during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The 41-year-old star was overcome with emotion after the 'Oprah Prime' host showed him a montage of videos from all over the world that people had made to his song 'Happy', and he admitted he couldn't believe how popular the track had become.
He wept as Oprah said: "You know, I was just thinking about your grandmother. I bet she didn't even imagine that."
After Pharrell joked, "Why am I crying on Oprah?, she responded, "It's being used for something that's greater than yourself. I get that."
Pharrell then explained his tears and said: "It's overwhelming because it's like I love what I do and I just appreciate the fact that people have believed in me for so long, that I could make it to this point to feel that."
The producer was particularly delighted by the song's success as it had struggled to get any radio play before its release.
He said: "Zero air-play, nothing. And the next thing you know, we put out the video on November 21 and all of a sudden--boom. I mean, when I say boom, I mean boooooom.
"And we were like, what's happening? First of all, people are putting up their own videos. It was like no longer my song."
The legendary talk show host later admitted on twitter the exchange of "sincere and humbling" moments had made Pharrell one of her "favourite" ever interviewees, much to his shock.
He responded: "You can't imagine what that means coming from you, a rare force. So radiant."

Jesse Eisenberg joined by Bill Pullman and Tony Hale

Jesse Eisenberg will star alongside Bill Pullman and Tony Hale in 'American Ultra'.
The 'Social Network' actor began filming for the action-comedy yesterday (14.04.14) and it's now been revealed that 'Independence Day' star Bill Pullman and 'Arrested Development' funny man Tony Hale have been confirmed to complete the cast.
The film - which Lionsgate paid $7 million for in March - stars Eisenberg as a "hapless and unmotivated stoner" whose small-town life with his girlfriend, played by Kristen Stewart, is suddenly turned upside down when his secret past as a sleeper agent comes back to haunt him, according to Deadline.com.
'Project X' director Nima Nourizadeh is helming the project, which follows a script penned by 'Chronicle' writer Max Landis, and Topher Grace, Romeo and Juliet's John Leguizamo and Walton Goggins will also co-star alongside Pullman and Hale.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind's Anthony Bregman, alongside Kevin Frakes, Raj Brinder Singh, The Walking Dead's David Alpert and Britton Rizzio will produce for PalmStar, Likely Story and Circle of Confusion with Ray Angelic taking on the role of executive producer.
'American Ultra' is slated for release in 2015.

Olly Murs collaborates with former Kaiser Chief Nick Hodgson

Olly Murs has collaborated with former Kaiser Chiefs star Nick Hodgson.
The 'Trouble' hitmaker paired up with the the former drummer, backing vocalist and lyricist for the 'I Predict A Riot' rockers - who now works as a producer and song writer at his Chewido studios in London - after being introduced by The Ordinary Boys frontman and former 'Celebrity Big Brother' star Preston, who has been writing for Olly since he was runner up on 'The X Factor' in 2009.
Nick told the Daily Star newspaper: "I've known Preston since the Kaisers supported The Ordinary boys when we started out.
"He phoned to see if I fancied writing with them, and it was an interesting idea.
"We got a great song out of it."
The 36-year-old musician - who parted ways with the Kaiser Chiefs in 2012 - confessed that although Olly, 29, has a very different style, he enjoyed working on the song for the pop heartthrob's new album.
He added: "I hadn't met him before, but I liked Olly a lot."
Olly has previously stated that his new album is to be released this summer.

Coronation Street’s Maria Connor to become ‘erratic’

'Coronation Street's Maria Connor's behaviour is set to become "erratic and unpredictable" in coming weeks.
The hairdresser - played by Samia Ghadie - takes comfort from her former lover Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and his girlfriend Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) after she caught her boyfriend Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou) having an affair with Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) earlier this month.
Speaking to ITV.com, Samia said: "Her behaviour becomes a bit more erratic, Marcus has gone off so she's happy she doesn't have to see him every day, but she does have to see Todd. That's not easy for her, that makes her behaviour a little bit unpredictable and her friends are concerned about her."
However, the blonde beauty takes things too far when she pretends to be Tyrone's psycho ex-partner Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede), who has just been released from prison, by sending him text messages signed off with "K".
Samia explained: "She's been getting a lot of support from Tyrone and Fiz, but she's been getting the wrong idea of Tyrone's support and starts seeing it more than it is.
"It's so far from right, it's so wrong. Maria opened a whole can of worms with this one. There's going to be more drama to come, so stay tuned."

Lucy Watson’s had three boyfriends

Lucy Watson claims she's only ever had three boyfriends.
The 'Made in Chelsea' star - who has previously dated her co-stars Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing - admits she's quite "picky" when it comes to dating people and she'd only ever strike up a relationship with someone if there's an "electric chemistry" between them.
She said: "I'm very picky about who I go out with.
"I've only ever had three boyfriends and there has to be an electric chemistry."
However, the brunette beauty, who recently admitted she dressed up as a sexy police woman for her ex-partner, becomes quite "exotic" when she's got a boyfriend.
When asked about her recent police woman confession, she told new! magazine: "Only when I'm in a relationship! It's not like that when I'm single. I'm like a granny - I never go out, I never drink and I'm always at home with my dog.
"But I become quite exotic when I have a boyfriend. I enjoy pleasing my partner."
Despite being keen to flash the flesh in the bedroom, the 23-year-old star - who recently posted a picture of her bottom on Instagram - claims she's put on a bit of weight.
She said: "I haven't been working out much lately. I've been busy. My jeans are a bit tighter, so I know I've put on weight. I'm happy, though."

Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson’s pals want romance

Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson's friends want them to get together.
The 'Dark Horse' singer and the 'Twilight' star were seen spending the majority of their weekend together at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, having both split with their former partners, and friends of the pair are said to be rooting for them to get together.
A source said: "The pair had a fling a year ago but they went their separate ways after John [Mayer] wooed Katy back and Kristen [Stewart] made it clear that she still wanted her Twilight co-star.
"But things have gone cold with R-Patz and K-Stew since, with them both deciding it's time to move on."
Rob split from his long-term girlfriend Kristen last year when it was revealed she'd been having an affair with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders.
Meanwhile, Katy broke it off with her other half earlier this year and mutual friends are hoping that she and Rob will finally get together now their exes are out of the way.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "Katy and Rob are the best of friends with a very strong sexual chemistry. They care a lot about each other but have always been careful not to upset Kristen.
"But Kristen's off doing her own thing and accepting it's time for both of them to move on.
"Friends genuinely want to see them get it together properly. They think they bring out the best in each other."

Cameron Diaz believes in having more than one partner

Cameron Diaz believes in having more than one partner.
The 'Charlie's Angels' actress, who has dated fellow celebrities including Justin Timberlake and Jared Leto in the past, has confessed she thinks women expect too much from men in a relationship.
She said: "For some reason, we get into relationships and we expect one man to understand all the parts of us and meet all of those needs.
"I think that's where everything fails."
The 41-year-old star, who is currently single, was asked if she thought having more than one partner was better, to which she replied: "Why not? Why would that be so bad?"
Cameron - who is currently starring in 'The Other Woman' as a woman who has found out her boyfriend is married - also admitted she has lots of female friends who each satisfy different needs.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We can have all of these girlfriends, all of these friendships. I know with my girlfriends I do totally different things with each one of them.
"I have different conversations. We like things that others don't like.
"There are different commonalities in each one of them and when I want to do those certain things, I can go to that girlfriend and we do those things together."

Tilda Swinton wants vampire glove trend to catch on

Tilda Swinton hopes vampires will wear gloves in future films.
The 53-year-old actress stars in 'Only Lovers Left Alive' as blood-sucking Eve and while working on the film she insists the cast and crew wanted to use traditional vampire elements but incorporate their own twist which she hopes catches on.
She told collider.com: "This fancy dress was really fun to work out. Of course because we were creating these creatures that had to have a similar specialness there was a lot of working it out ... [We worked out] how we could look at vampire law, take what we liked and make some new stuff up. For example, a new piece of mythology that they wear gloves all the time. We are hoping new vampire films will incorporate these gloves things."
Swinton - who earned the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in 'Michael Clayton' in 2008 - recently revealed she struggled to get meaningful roles when she started her acting career and knew she would be "a bit off an outsider" until she got older.
She explained: "I was never going to be bimbo material. So I just kept my head down in my 20s. I had this strange instinct that I would only begin to start my real work in my 40s."

Dexters to support The Enemy in London

Indie band Dexters will support The Enemy next month at KOKO in London.
The London band, who have just wrapped up their UK tour, will join the 'Gimme The Sign' hitmakers in May and are thrilled with the reception to their debut album 'Shimmer Gold'.
Frontman Tom Rowlett told BANG Showbiz: "I'm really happy with the reaction, a lot of the online stuff and fans. I try not to look at reviews, though. But I did have an argument with one guy who told me it was better than 'Definitely Maybe' [Oasis debut]. I was like, 'Wow, thank you very much, I'll take that as a compliment, but it ain't'. Maybe our next album, will be but he was like, 'No, this one'. I just said, 'Alright, bruv'."
The band - also made up of Chris Heggie, Ben Debo and Vincent Dignan - finished their headline tour at The Garage in Islington with an incredible live set, which included new song 'Nature Of The Beast' along with fan favourites.
Tom continued: "It's building, you can see it everywhere we go, playing bigger venues, a lot of the shows are sold out, it's great. We're looking forward to supporting The Enemy and we also have a gig with the Kaiser Chiefs coming up."
He quipped: "I'm now hoping to making some money. We're still skint. It's not why I do it. But I just want to go bowling in between gigs ... get a few strikes."
Dexters will support The Enemy at the Camden venue on Wednesday, May 28.
