Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff sign up for 2nd Top Gear series

Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff have signed up to co-host their second series of ‘Top Gear’.
The pair and fellow presenter Chris Harris will begin work on their second instalment of the BBC motoring show next month, after programme bosses were left "really pleased" with the trio.
A show source said: "The minute the trio started filming bosses saw the spark between them.
"They’re really pleased with how it’s started and with all the footage they’ve already got in the can for series one."
While only one episode of the trio’s ‘Top Gear’ stint has aired on the BBC so far, the presenting triple threat are already preparing for "bigger challenges" in their second series.
The source added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "They have been warmly received by viewers, too. Ratings are up on last year, which is a good sign.
"Now Freddie and Paddy have got their feet under the table, the ante will be upped for series two.
"They’re going to go for bolder locations and bigger challenges. This should bring great scenes and laughs for the audience."
The 27th ‘Top Gear’ season got underway on Sunday (16.06.19) and beforehand, Paddy admitted the new-look team already felt like they had been together for "a few series".
He said: "With us, I was so pleased that we all clicked straight away.
"It [feels] like we kind of already did a few series, which I was really pleased about, because that was a worry you know, do you get on do you not? But we all do."
