Ovie Soko predicts ‘cheating’ in new Love Island villa

Ovie Soko has predicted the new ‘Love Island’ stars will indulge in plenty of "cheating" in the South African villa because it is so big.
The 28-year-old basketball player – who finished third in the 2019 series with ex-girlfriend India Reynolds – believes the huge building will provide plenty of hidden spaces for the new Islanders to sneak around.
Watching the first episode with winner Amber Gill, Ovie said: "You know what three stories means – there’s going to be cheating! There’s more places to be alone.
"It makes it more savage, I stayed in the kitchen to stay out of the way."
The first-ever winter edition of the ITV2 dating show is being housed in a £5.3 million Cape Townvilla, which has a swimming pool, a bedroom with seven double beds, and it even features a dressing room for the lads, with the Majorca villa only accommodating an area for the girls to get prepped and primed.
What’s more, ‘Love Island’ has added The Dog House for those Islanders who fail to spark a romance or get chucked out of their own beds.
And after her dramatic time in the villa, Amber – who returned from Casa Amor to find partner Michael Griffiths had dumped her for newcomer Joanna Chimonides – couldn’t be more thrilled to see the new addition.
She said: "I love that. We needed 10 of those in ours – everyone was in the doghouse all the time. There wasn’t a day that went by when someone wasn’t."
The fan favourites have also made their predictions about who they think could win the series after last night’s launch (12.01.20).
Amber guessed: "I think Mike and Leanne. But you never know, nobody would have guessed for one second I would have won the show."
Ovie agreed: "Mike and Leanne – they’re the most legit and chilled out of everyone. They’re not over doing it."
As well as sharing their views on the new series, Ovie and Amber have tried their hand at being Just Eat delivery drivers, in preparation for making a special delivery to fans at an exclusive Just Eat x Love Island Ultimate Date Night event taking place in London, in February.
