Olly Murs spread the Christmas cheer when he met with seriously ill children in Manchester.
The ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ hitmaker teamed up with Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity and OUTFIT, the multi-brand retailer from Arcadia, for an exclusive festive event held at the Lowry Hotel in the northern city.
Olly met with Ewan, seven, and Mia, 12, who both have brain tumours, as well as Cerebral Palsy sufferer Tyler, nine. Emmie, eight, kept a smile on her face despite her battle with leukaemia whilst Coby, seven, has brittle bone disease. Charlotte, 11, is suffering from Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, Nicole, 14, battles Cystic Fibrosis and Rosie, 14, who is being treated at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Olly – who has been a Rays of Sunshine ambassador since 2012 – said: "I had such a fantastic time meeting so many amazing and brave kids. We had such a festive-filled time and it really got me into the Christmas spirit! I love being an ambassador for Rays of Sunshine and helping them to put a smile on the children’s faces. A very big thank you to OUTFIT for making it so special and festive!"
OUTFIT gifted all of the children at the event Christmas jumpers from the OUTFIT Kids range to wear for their party with Olly.
OUTFIT is supporting Rays of Sunshine’s #BeMoreSanta campaign.
