Olly Murs moves to TV production

Olly Murs is launching his own TV production company.
The ‘Voice’ coach has been appointed director and majority shareholder of Wrapped Up TV, which was founded a few days ago after a year of planning.
Olly has teamed up with former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ executive producer Andrea Hamilton and Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee of Modest! Management, a company which looks after the likes of Little Mix, a number of the former One Direction stars, and the Spice Girls.
Documents confirm the business will be involved in "TV programme production activities" and Olly has big plans for his new venture.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: "Olly had the idea for a sports and entertainment show a while back, but since then things have picked up momentum and now he’s got big players involved.
"Andrea has worked on massive shows for the BBC and Richard and Harry are influential in the showbiz world."
Olly – who shot to fame after coming second on ‘The X Factor’ in 2009 – is keen to get involved in the business side of things but is also expected to appear on screen in some of the projects Wrapped Up TV are planning.
The insider added: "The likelihood is Olly will appear on screen in the ideas they are floating around, but he’ll also have a role in running the business."
Earlier this week, the 35-year-old star was delighted to show off the results of his weight loss programme on Instagram.
The pop singer – who posted side-by-side shirtless snaps on the photo-sharing website – captioned his post: "Ain’t bad for 35yr old! My ambition to be a "butler in the buff" is coming true the pic on the left was 2nd January! (sic)"
Olly feels much better for having changed his diet, revealing he was "grumpy" before he decided to shift his excess weight.
His post continued: "I was like "f**k me I look massive" weight was doing me no favours, grumpy, no energy, sleeping was awful so I made some adjustments and I’m actually buzzing now I’m off to get a McDonald’s (sic)"
