Olly Murs is to release new single ‘You Don’t Know Love’ on July 8.
The 31-year-old singer has been tucked away in the studio working on his fifth studio album and will drop the new track just in time for his performance at this year’s Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park in London on July 9, where he’s supporting Take That.
The track is the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Kiss Me’, which sold an impressive 400,000 copies.
The ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ hitmaker wrote the song with Steve Robson – famed for his work with Black Magic and Sax – and award-winning songwriter Wayne Hector, who has worked with everyone from Nicki Minaj to Paloma Faith.
Olly’s new record follows 2014’s ‘Never Been Better’ and is expected to drop next year.
The hunky Essex star – who split from his girlfriend of three years Francesca Thomas in 2015 – has said being a bachelor has had a major influence on the record.
He previously shared: "It definitely feels a lot sexier than normal.
"I think because it’s being single I am in a different place than I was with the last album."
The ‘Troublemaker’ singer also teamed up with MNEK – real name Uzo Emenike – for some songs so he could challenge himself.
Of the collaborations, he said: "It’s a lot sexier than I’ve done before. I wrote with MNEK this week. I like to test myself and do different sessions with different people. Uzo’s a really good talent."
Meanwhile, Olly is "really excited" to be performing at British Summer Time in Hyde Park on July 9, where he’ll take to the stage with Take That as the fourth member for some songs.
He said: "I’m going to be a special guest. I haven’t done a gig in Hyde Park before so I’m really excited. I love Gary and the boys. It will be a great gig."
‘You Don’t Know Love’ will be available to stream and download on July 8, but won’t impact until August 12.
