Olly Murs aims cheeky dig at The X Factor

Olly Murs took a cheeky dig at ‘The X Factor’ during his latest appearance on ‘The Voice’.
The 35-year-old singer – who first came to national attention for coming second on ‘The X Factor’ in 2009 – took aim at the show after the ‘Voice’ crowd started chanting in support of Natalie Good’s version of Little Mix’s ‘Shout Out To My Ex’.
Olly – who has also presented ‘The X Factor’ alongside Caroline Flack – quipped: "This is not ‘X Factor’ – once they’ve performed that’s it. I don’t mean that horribly … why are you laughing?"
Olly is currently in the midst of his third year on ‘The Voice’, having joined the programme in 2018.
Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor – Olly’s on-screen co-star – recently admitted to feeling like a "kid at Christmas" on ‘The Voice’.
The chart-topping pop star joined the judging panel of the ITV show, and Meghan revealed she’s fulfilled a long-held ambition by working on the programme.
She shared: "It’s always been a dream of mine to be on a show like this so I felt like a kid at Christmas.
"I knew it would be a fun time and a lot of hours and I’d fall in love with these people but I didn’t realise it would be this fun, like last week I left and I teared up as I was leaving."
Meghan also admitted there had been some emotional moments during her time on the show.
She said: "It’s horrible in the moment to not press a button and to hear the crowds disappointment and to hear them walk off, like we can hear footsteps.
"But we don’t hear the stories, so watching it back with the stories we are just kicking ourselves more, it’s like: ‘Oh, I hate myself.’"
