Olivia Munn "freaked out" when she met Oprah Winfrey.
The ‘Ocean’s Eight’ actress was left starstruck by the broadcasting legend when they came face-to-face in the bathroom of members’ club Soho House.
Speaking to E! News on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday (21.01.18), she said: "When I met Oprah I freaked out. Oprah is amazing…
"I’m washing my hands and I see her in the reflection and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, that’s Oprah’. So I’m washing my hands and I’m not saying anything and she looks up and says, ‘Oh, it’s a full moon.’ "
The 37-year-old actress viewed Oprah’s remark as an "in" to start a conversation with her.
She added: "And I think this is my in to say something, so I go, ‘You know they say during a full moon crazy stuff happens and it’s funny because all my friends are breaking up and maybe that has something to do with it?’ "
But sadly for Olivia, the 63-year-old talk show host quickly shut down her idea.
She recalled Oprah replied: "No, it is not a full moon. Your friends are breaking up."
Meanwhile, Olivia recently admitted she thinks it is an "amazing time" for Hollywood after so many people spoke out about sexual misconduct.
She said: "For the people who have had to put up with it for a very long time, I can say from my own personal experience it’s actually a really, an amazing time right now because for some reason we don’t have to put up with it anymore and our voices and our pain matter. That’s the first step of change but we have to be vigilant and we have to continue to see it through."
The ‘Magic Mike’ actress also told the publication it’s really important to "name names" and "support the people who come out and speak up."
