Olivia Buckland’s fiancé Alex Bowen restores faith in marriage

Olivia Buckland’s fiancé Alex Bowen has restored her faith in marriage.
The 23-year-old ‘Love Island’ reality TV star is set to get married to her co-star in 2018 after the pair fell head over heels in love on the show last year but she has admitted she was completely against getting hitched when she was growing up.
In an interview with new! magazine, she explained: "I wasn’t massively in to marriage when I was young because my parents were divorced and remarried. I never really had faith in it. But since meeting Alex, all that’s changed."
The tattooed hunk has since shared his five-year plan with his bride-to-be which includes babies and a house move.
Olivia said: "Alex wants a child before he’s 30 and he’s 25 now so that could be a plan [laughs]. We’re enjoying everything that we’re doing at the moment. We want to be stable and happily married in five years’ time."
Olivia revealed that they plan on having a "close-knit" ceremony at a manor house, in which ‘Love Island’ host Caroline Flack will be invited to along with the "whole of ITV", followed by a much bigger "free-for-all" evening do.
The blonde beauty, who says she can’t picture her husband-to-be wearing a top hat and tail suit on their big day, admits the pressure of finding the right dress is getting to her, so she’s enlisted the help of TLC show ‘Say Yes To The Dress’.
She said: "I didn’t ever really know what (dress) I wanted. I went in there with such an open mind. I think you do get worried that you’re never going to find The One. You try on dresses and you’re not feeling it, so you panic."
And when it comes to revealing whether she finds her dream dress on the show, Olivia teased: "There were lots that I tried on. You’ll have to watch it and see what happens because I can’t spoil it. There’s a lot of emotion in this episode."
‘Say Yes To The Dress’ UK is on Fridays at 9pm on TLC.
