Olivia Attwood admits she went on ‘Love Island’ for fame rather than to find "true love".
The ‘TOWIE’ star – who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2017 and met ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes in the villa – has revealed she initially signed up with the goal of raising her profile instead of looking for love.
When an Instagram follower accused her of using the programme "for fame, not true love", she replied: "No s**t Sherlock!"
Earlier this year, Olivia made her feelings clear during the summer series when she hit out at Anton Danyluk for claiming he wasn’t fussed about the money.
She tweeted: "I love Antonio I really do, but, no one goes on @LoveIsland just for love ‘love’ .. including you and your shaven bum (sic)"
Her most recent comments come as the 26-year-old star is rumoured to be among the stars considered as potential replacements for Caroline Flack as the host of ‘Love Island’ spin-off ‘Aftersun’, after the presenter stepped down this week just days after she was charged with assault.
A source recently said: "The team at ITV have a great working relationship with her and feel she’ll bring her experience as a former islander to the show, plus the fact they love she always speaks her mind.
"Bosses have already scheduled meetings with Olivia to discuss the role but hope she’ll be the one to sign on the dotted line."
Kerry Katona has also thrown her name into the hat while also voicing her support for Caroline.
She tweeted: "Pick me.. pick me!! I’ll stand in!!! mmmmm just don’t think it will be the same without the flack!!! We all make mistakes!!
"I hope the Industry let’s her back as quick as they would if it was a man… xxxxx (sic)"
