Offset has allegedly been arrested on drugs and weapons charges – just 10 days after the birth of his daughter.
The Migos rapper was believed to be pulled over by police in Georgia when he attempted to make an improper lane change, and was arrested when cops then found at least one weapon inside the vehicle, which is against the law for someone who has previously spent time in jail – which Offset has.
According to TMZ, the 26-year-old star – who welcomed his daughter Kulture with his wife Cardi B earlier this month – was travelling just outside of Atlanta on Friday (20.07.18) when he was pulled over, and a witness reports officers on the scene then found the firearm in the vehicle.
The publication also claims Offset has been hit with a total of four charges, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime – which are both felony crimes – and possession of marijuana (one ounce or less), and an improper lane change, which are both misdemeanours.
It isn’t believed that baby Kulture or Cardi B were travelling with the rapper when he was pulled over.
This isn’t the first time Offset has gotten into trouble with his car, as in May he was involved in a car crash which saw him have to swerve on the road to avoid a collision with another vehicle.
At the time, Offset was taken taken to hospital for treatment of "minor injuries" after he completely wrecked his green Dodge Challenger.
He was released shortly afterwards and law enforcement claimed no police or emergency medical workers were called to the crash scene and no accident report was taken.
The ‘Culture II’ rapper later took to social media to share a video of a new car he had purchased for the innocent bystander who helped to free him from his wrecked car and saved his life.
