Niall Rodgers will assist Louis Tomlinson at Judges’ Houses.
The former One Direction hunk needs to whittle down the hopefuls left in his Boys category on ‘The X Factor’ so has enlisted the services of the legendary Chic star to help him select his finalists in the next round of the competition.
And his bandmate Liam Payne will also be joining the pair in Ibiza as they put the contestants through their paces for a place in the live shows.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Liam has been mooted for a while, they are mates, but getting Nile on board is a nice twist.
"He’s got masses of credibility and brings something totally different to the table."
Though none of the assistants for Judges’ Houses have yet been confirmed, it was previously claimed David Walliams will be helping his fellow ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Simon Cowell.
A source previously said: "Producers want to push a fun side on the show and know David will bring the comedy and banter, especially with his ribbing of Simon.
"He’s so unpredictable so no doubt he will have some tricks up his sleeve."
David, 46, may have been shocked to have received the invite from Simon because he previously claimed he never hears from the 58-year-old star when they’re not working on ‘BGT’, even though they get along well during filming.
He has said: "We are friends when the show is being made. He will sort of invite you out for dinner and you think, ‘This is great I am having dinner with Simon Cowell’.
"And then you don’t hear from him for six months when the show is not on and then he will be back in touch in January."
It was previously revealed that Simon is taking the girls in his category to Los Angeles, while fellow judges Ayda Field and Robbie Williams – who have the Overs and Groups respectively – will also be in the city.
