Nikki Bella has been living with her twin sister Brie since splitting with John Cena.
The 34-year-old professional wrestler parted ways with the ‘Blockers’ star last month, just weeks before they were due to tie the knot, and she has now revealed in a video posted to her YouTube account that in the wake of their split, she has temporarily moved in with her sister Brie, her husband Daniel Bryan, and their 12-month-old daughter Birdie.
In the video, which was titled "NIKKI IS BACK! (and living with the Danielsons?!), Nikki said: "Staying at Brie’s because you all know why. I just wanted to say hi to you guys. I know I’ve been MIA, and I’ve kind of been hiding out. But I wanted to reach out to you all and thank you all for your love and support. Can’t tell you how much it meant to me, especially through a really difficult time."
Nikki also discussed the upcoming season of ‘Total Bellas’, in which the breakdown of her romance with John, 41, will be detailed, and said it will be "tough" for her to watch the footage back when it airs.
She added: "It’s a really good season, it’s going to be a tough one for me to watch. Hey that’s life, right? Again, thank you for all your love and support with all of that. It’s been a tough time. But we can save that for another vlog."
Nikki’s twin sister and wrestling partner Brie previously praised the pair for how they handled their split on camera, which fans will see when the series airs later this year.
She said: "I really had to take a step back and allow it and that was really hard on me because it’s my twin. I want to protect her from everything. This has been the hardest season to film for me because all I want to do is protect her and keep everyone away, but this is what we do. I have to give a lot of credit to John and Nicole. They really opened up their lives and they really wanted to close the curtain and be like this is it, we’re done. My sister is really great with her fans in a way where she lets them connect with her. She lets them like go, ‘My life isn’t perfect and isn’t easy’ and lets them see the playbook of her life.
"John and Nicole allow the fans to see some very personal conversations, that to be honest, I was mind blown about. Brian and I both said, ‘I don’t think we’d allow them to see those conversations’ but they do. I give them a lot of credit."
