Nicki Minaj wouldn’t get with Drake even if she was single.
The 29-year-old rapper recently called time on his relationship with on/off girlfriend Rihanna, and while he is close with the ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker – who is in a relationship with rapper Meek Mill – it is said she wouldn’t be keen to embark on anything serious with him in the future.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Drake is cool as the other side of the pillow, but Nicki would be damn fool to get with him on a romantic tip.
"She’s seen Drake tear through women like Hurricane Matthew and she’s not about to get twisted up in his shenanigans.
"She’s seen the aftermath of his destruction and she doesn’t want all the heartbreak and tears.
"She’s not one of those girls that he can just run game on and leave when he gets ready!"
The news of the beauty’s disinterest in the ‘Hotline Bling’ musician comes after it was recently revealed he is keen on her.
Another source claimed: "Drake’s going to date around the block for a cool minute until the woman he truly wants is single — and that special lady is Nicki.
"She’s the epitome of everything he wants in a woman and to be honest, the dude is infatuated with her."
Sources also claim Drake’s reported crush on Nicki drove a wedge between him and the ‘Work’ hitmaker, as he kept "going on and on" about her.
A source said: "Several weeks ago [Drake and Rihanna] had an argument about Nicki because Drake kept rapping the lyrics to a few of he and Nicki’s collabs and going on and on about how he and Nicki are magical when they’re on a track together.
"Ri felt offended and thought Drake was being high key disrespectful when they themselves have worked together. Words were said, Drake apologised but Ri still feels some type of way and is jealous of his love for Nicki."
Mill has appeared to hit out at Drake, whose nickname is Drizzy, following the speculation.
According to Complex, during a recent Funk Flex Freestyle rap event, Mill rapped: "Posted up with Nicki, that’s when it get tricky.
"N*****s in they feelings, that’s when it get Drizzy."
