Nicki Minaj poised to announce new album and tour in 2025

Nicki Minaj is poised to share details of a new album and tour in 2025.

The 41-year-old rapper took questions from fans over the weekend ahead of the release of ‘Pink Friday 2 – The Hiatus’ – a deluxe version of her fifth studio album – on December 13 and she confirmed she has another record on the way and will share details of her next tour when the announcement drops next year.

Responding to a fan on X who asked if there will be “another tour for the next album?”, she replied: “Yes, our next official album. Of course.”

She later clarified: “Well let me clarify…you’ll be notified of a tour in 2025. With the album.

Not that the tour will start in 2025.”

‘Pink Friday 2’ dropped in December, and featured the likes of J. Cole, Drake, Lil Wayne, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, 50 Cent, Monica, and Keyshia Cole.

‘Pink Friday’ was Nicki’s acclaimed 2010 debut album and received a follow-up in the form of 2012’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which saw her experiment with dance-pop and boasted her beloved hit ‘Starships’.

Nicki’s album and tour teaser comes after she recently admitted she continues to make music because of her fans.

The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker admits that making music remains her “true passion” in life – but her fans, who are also known as Barbz, are the real reason why she hasn’t walked away from the industry.

One of Nicki’s followers wrote on X: “I’m so happy that Nicki is still active and passionate about music cause I’m so serious when I say she’s the only one that just does it for me in this present rap genre. (sic)”

And in response, Nicki said: “And even tho music is my TRUE PASSION, (biggest at the moment), I think the only reason I still do it professionally, is because of the Barbz.

“I tell ppl all the time. Also being w/a label that I’ve rlly become a family with. It’s the things ppl don’t see. I’ll tell u guys 1 day. (sic)”
