Nicki Minaj’s clothing line has been discontinued by Kmart.
The 34-year-old rapper teamed up with the retailer three years ago to create an exclusive custom apparel line, and the store has now said that despite enjoying a "positive relationship" with the ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker, they have decided to pull the plug on the project.
A representative for Kmart told Billboard: "Kmart is thrilled that we were the first retail partner to create a custom apparel line for Nicki Minaj.
"From the development of the line, to showcasing it in stores, to designing exclusive capsule collections, we have enjoyed a positive relationship with Nicki Minaj and her team over the last three years.
"As our partnership came to a close in 2016, we would like to thank Nicki Minaj for being a great partner and wish her continued success in her future endeavours."
The news comes after a Twitter account with the handle @KmartFashions originally posted a tweet on Saturday (25.02.17) which seemingly confirmed the discontinuation.
They wrote: "Due to a dramatic decrease in sales, Nicki Minaj’s clothing line will soon be discontinued."
However, the official Kmart Twitter account responded to let fans know the account was not affiliated with their brand and said they were "proud" of the partnership they had shared with the ‘Super Bass’ singer.
They posted on the social media site: "@kmartfashions is not affiliated w/ @kmart. We’re proud of the partnership w/ Nicki Minaj & great products brought to members & her fans (sic)"
At the time of writing, all the current items in Nicki’s clothing line are on sale on the Kmart website, with some merchandise offering up to 40 percent off the recommended retail price.
