Niall Horan to work with The Chainsmokers?

Niall Horan could be working on new music with The Chainsmokers.
The ‘This Town’ hitmaker responded to the electronic duo – Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall – on Twitter after they jokingly asked him what his natural hair colour is and they signed off their tweet saying "see you next week", leading fans to speculate that they are heading into the studio together.
The duo asked Niall on Twitter: "yo @NiallOfficial are you blonde or brunette whats the deal? (sic)"
To which, he replied: "@TheChainsmokers that sounds like the type of question drew would ask! (sic)"
And Andrew laughed: "lol wrong was alex. But he shares a similar curiosity. see you next week buddy 🙂 (sic)"
Both the former One Direction star and the ‘Closer’ hitmakers have debut albums on the way.
However, Niall, 23, has been forced to delay the release of his debut solo LP because he doesn’t want to "rush it".
He recently explained: "I am taking my time on it. I don’t want to rush it. I said it would be out at the start of the summer but I might push it back now a small bit. I don’t really have an idea. I’ll keep writing until it’s there and when it’s there I’ll let everyone know. It’s not going to be all singles."
The Chainsmokers announced their debut on the micro-blogging site over the weekend.
They wrote: "NEW TOUR + NEW ALBUM + NEW PRODUCTION = OUR MOST AMAZING SHOW EVER – TICKETS ARE GONNA FLY… (sic)"
And it looks like the record could feature a collaboration with Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
A post on the ‘Everglow’ band’s profile read: "excited for @thechainsmokers’ album; I’ve heard some songs and I love them. cm (sic)"
Alex and Andrew previously shared clips on Instagram hard at work with Chris and the popular DJs confirmed they could be releasing new music with the ‘Up&Up’ singer.
They previously told BANG Showbiz: "We don’t want to jinx anything or give away too much but that guy and that experience were one of the most wonderful moments we have ever experienced.
"And we may or may not have something really special in the pipeline."
