Niall Aslam was ‘stressed’ in Love Island villa

Niall Aslam was reportedly struggling with stress in the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 23-year-old student dramatically quit the dating show earlier this week due to "personal reasons" and, although those closest to him are refusing to divulge the reason why he left the villa without any warning, it’s believed he was finding it hard to deal with the possible backlash he was receiving in the outside world.
Speaking to the MailOnline, a source said: "Niall left for personal reasons regarding himself only. He doesn’t deal well with stress or criticism, and would hate to have situations where he’s involved in conflict publicise. It’s an emotionally stressful environment and he over worries to the point where he gets stressed."
The hunk has suffered with insecurities for a while – especially regarding the size of his ears – and underwent an operation last year to have his ears pinned.
The insider explained: "Before he got his ears pinned back, if anyone wasn’t interested in him or made a joke he’d assume it was about his ears and put a hat on for the rest of the day just to avoid people seeing."
The news of his departure was broken to his fellow housemates in Tuesday (12.06.18) night’s episode when Dr Alex George read out a statement to the group.
He said: "For personal reasons unfortunately he can’t continue or come back to the villa. I’m obviously sad that Niall’s left the Villa. We got on really, really well."
Niall was partnered up with Georgia Steel on the show – meaning she’s now single.
She said: "Obviously, I was coupled up with him so obviously I came closer to him than most people in here but it wasn’t just that. He was actually my friend, my buddy."
