Nathan Sykes not in ‘rush’ to date again

Nathan Sykes isn’t in a "rush" to date again.
The ‘Over and Over Again’ hitmaker – who was previously in a relationship with Ariana Grande – is happy being single at the moment but wouldn’t say no if the right person came along.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola, he said: "There is not a special someone in my life. I am very much single.
"At the end of the day, I’m 23. As long as you are happy and enjoying yourself, there is no rush to get into a relationship but if the right person comes along. I’m very laid back."
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old singer previously confessed he is looking for love on celebrity dating app Raya.
He added: "It was through peer pressure! I’m not normally one to give in, but i did. It’s quite a closed community … My friend came across someone quite unbelievably famous the other day."
Despite splitting from Ariana, Nathan has remained close friends with the ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer and says he still has "great trust" in her.
He said previously: "I never write songs with the intention of getting a story out there. I wouldn’t necessarily get an artist on the song that I didn’t think would bring anything to the record, just to get a bit more press or get a bit more radio play. I think that’s quite shallow, as an artist. We’ve obviously sung together before, on ‘Almost Is Never Enough’ off her debut album.
"For me, it was like, ‘Who would sound incredible on this?’ The one name that stuck out to me was Ariana. She’s an incredible vocalist, she’s extremely talented, and I could trust her with doing the song. When you’re doing a duet with someone, with a song so personal, it would have been weird inviting someone on the song who I’d never met before. I think having known her as well, makes it a bit easier. Also, I’ve got great trust in her as an artist and a vocalist to do a great vocal, and that’s exactly what she did."
