Nathan Sussex is returning to ‘Hollyoaks’.
The actor portrayed evil football coach Buster Smith in the Channel 4 soap until the character was sentenced to six years in prison for sexually assaulting Ollie Morgan (Aedan Duckworth) and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) in January 2019, but the Channel 4 soap’s new trailer has confirmed he will be back on our screens.
The show is now on a break until September after airing its final episode for the time being last night (20.07.20), and a trailer released shortly afterwards revealed Brody will come face-to-face with Buster once again later this year.
Elsewhere in the teaser, Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) and Mitchell Deveraux’s (Imran Adams) wedding looks set to potentially end in disaster.
Mitchell’s father Walter Deveraux (Trevor A Toussaint) vows to sabotage the spectacle, despite the best efforts from Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) who pleads with him to see past his beliefs for one day.
At the reception, Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) sets his sights on party guest Grace Black (Tamara Wall) while juggling his two dates Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) and Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan).
What’s more, forthcoming episodes will see Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) set for more turmoil as his evil father Edward Hutchinson (Joe McGann) continues to drug him with testosterone medication.
And while Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) will still be strongly involved in the County Lines plot, she also has other things on her mind.
The trailer comes to a close with Juliet and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) sharing a passionate kiss.
