Natalie Portman doesn’t think she’ll ever be in another Marvel movie
The 35-year-old actress has said that as far as she knows, her part as Jane Foster – which she played in ‘Thor’ and its sequel – is done with.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, she said: "As far as I know, I’m done. I don’t know if, maybe one day, they’ll ask for an Avengers 7 or whatever. I have no idea! But as far as I know I’m done. But it was a great thing to be a part of.
After briefly being mentioned by Thor in one scene of ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’, Jane Foster seems to have fallen off the radar and it would appear that the ‘Black Swan’ star hasn’t been asked to reprise her role in a future title.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has previously stated that Natalie would not appear in the upcoming Thor movie, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, because there are only a few scenes that take place on Earth and so there is no need for Thor’s human romantic interest.
However, the brunette beauty hasn’t let the news get her down and she has revealed that she is "really proud" of her newest venture starring as Jackie Kennedy in the biographical film ‘Jackie’.
She said: "It was a really incredible experience getting to play Jackie. The film, which I’m really proud of, is going to premiere at the Venice Film Festival and then the Toronto Film Festival. I don’t know when it’s coming out in theatres."
