Natalie Ann Jamieson wants an ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘Coronation Street’ crossover episode.
The soap star – who replaced Chelsea Halfpenny as Amy Wyatt when she joined the cast earlier this year – would love to see the two ITV shows come together for a one-off special on the cobbles to raise money for a good cause.
Asked where in the world she would like to film an ‘Emmerdale’ episode, she told Inside Soap magazine: "We were talking about this the other day.
"We were saying we’d love to do something for charity where we go on a trip and the bus breaks down, and we find ourselves in the Rovers Return. That would be fun."
Natalie would also love to head to Marbella with Natalie J. Robb (Moira Barton) for a special.
She said: "I was working with Natalie J. Robb and we were saying it would be great to do ‘Moira in Marbs’.
"Maybe she has run away with the kids to Spain, and Amy has to chase her down."
Natalie has had an amazing time on ‘Emmerdale’ so far, and admitted she and her family have always been big fans of the show.
She added: "I have lots of ‘Emmerdale’ fans in the family as well. It was so exciting so tell them that I was going into the show, because they have years and years’ worth of ‘Emmerdale’ knowledge.
"I used to watch it with my grandma, she loves it. Eric Pollard was my favourite character, so I love working with Chris [Chittell, who plays him]!"
Although a ‘Corrie’-‘Emmerdale’ mash up would be something different for soap fans, it wouldn’t be the first time ITV has aired a crossover between two of its shows.
In 2004, ‘Bad Girls’ and ‘Footballers’ Wives’ joined forces for three episodes.
‘Footballers’ Wives’ character Tanya Turner, played by Zoe Lucker, was sent to prison and wound up in Bad Girls’ Larkhall jail.
