Naomi Campbell’s mother has advised her to do everything "with integrity".
The 46-year-old supermodel – who has boasted over three-decade spanning career at the helm of the fashion industry – has admitted her parent, Valerie Moss, has always told her to commit wholeheartedly to whatever she puts her mind to and to give "110 per cent".
Speaking to W magazine about the tips she has received over the years, the brunette beauty said: "Have integrity with everything you do and have no regrets. When you commit, do it with 110 per cent."
And the catwalk icon has revealed she was always told never to "imitate" anyone and to be true to herself.
She added: "Do not do anything half way. Also don’t try to imitate anyone – just be the best you can be. Remember whom you’re working for and always do things with integrity."
And the ‘Empire’ actress – who plays the role of Camilla Marks in the American drama series – has revealed she "always" shows up to work "over prepared", whether it is for a new fashion or beauty shoot, or to start filming scenes.
When asked whether she gets a manicure or pedicure, she said: "Both, on a weekly basis. Especially in the job that I’m in. I always show up to a job over prepared rather than under prepared."
Meanwhile, fellow model Linda Evangelista – who is recognised as one of the world’s most recognised supermodels in the 80s alongside Naomi, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Tatjana Patitz – has revealed she would welcome advice from her contemporaries, such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
Speaking previously, the 51 year old said: "They can give me advice.
"They’re so fabulous, they’ve got the world in their hands. They’re so aware and so in control — they’re just so fabulous."
