Nadine Mulkerrin has returned to ‘Hollyoaks’ following her maternity leave.
The 27-year-old actress is glad to be back on the Channel 4 soap, on which she plays Cleo McQueen, after giving birth to her and co-star Rory Douglas-Speed’s (Joel Dexter) son Reggie in October.
She gave birth just weeks after filming a special three-hander episode which saw Cleo discover her boyfriend Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) had been cheating on her with Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams), resulting in her leaving the village.
Nadine took to Instagram to share a picture of herself inside Hollyoaks pub The Dog alongside co-stars Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes McQueen), and Jorgie Porter, who recently reprised her role as Theresa McQueen after four years away from the village.
She added the caption: "It’s good to be back @hollyoaksofficial"
Meanwhile, Rachel Adedeji’s final scenes as Lisa Loveday aired on E4 last night (08.09.20) as her character was caught in the crossfire when the feud between siblings Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) and Mitchell resulted in her being killed.
Lisa met her maker after her cousin Toby mistook her for his brother Mitchell by mixing up the hotel rooms.
She was under the covers waiting for a bit of fun with her lover Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), but he was preoccupied with Grace Black (Tamara Wall).
In June, Nadine thanked her ‘Hollyoaks’ co-star Rachel for "being brave" and "speaking out against racism", just days after Rachel claimed she had experienced racism on the programme.
Following the 29-year-old star’s comments, ‘Hollyoaks’ announced they are "investigating", and insisted they have "zero tolerance on racism".
