Myra McQueen for Hollyoaks return

Myra McQueen is returning to ‘Hollyoaks’.

The mouthy McQueen family matriarch – played by Nicole Barber-Lane – is expected to return to the Channel 4 soap on a full-time basis later this year.

Myra left Hollyoaks village last year when she was forced to fake her death following a feud with the villainous Dr. Browning, who shot her.

The popular character made a one-off return to the soap in January to visit her family, including son John Paul (James Sutton), but will be back permanently later this year, reports Digital Spy.

It’s not yet known how Myra will make her return, as she previously feared she’d be wanted by police for faking her death, but it’s thought her comeback will tie in with the return of soap beauty Theresa McQueen, played by Jorgie Porter.

The 26-year-old actress will be back on ‘Hollyoaks’ later this year also, after quitting the soap last year.

Theresa was last seen on-screen in January when she was arrested and charged for the murder of Calvin Valentine.

Myra and Theresa will be reunited with the rest of the McQueen clan including John Paul, Carmel (Gemma Merna) and Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe).
