Adam Lambert: It’d be fun if Queen headline Glastonbury

Adam Lambert would love to see Queen headline Glastonbury.
The 33-year-old singer has collaborated with the iconic British band, which features Brian May and Roger Taylor, since last year and has echoed Brian's view that they'd relish the opportunity to play at the festival.
Speaking last night (12.06.15) at the One For The Boys Fashion Ball at London's Roundhouse in Camden, Adam told BANG Showbiz: "That would be fun. I heard that too, that would be fun!"
Adam is scheduled to appear alongside the duo for a series of gigs later this year and suggested he'd like to continue collaborating with Queen into the future.
He shared: "We're doing a bunch of shows in South America in September.
"So far that's all that's on the books but that doesn't mean that we're done."
Last month, Brian May admitted Queen would be interested in headlining Glastonbury in the future - but only if Adam was available to perform alongside them.
He said: "It would be interesting to do Glastonbury if we were an operational unit at the time.
"You see this year Adam's off doing his solo work at the moment so it wouldn't have worked. You only look at things that are possible logistically at the time."
Other celebrities in attendance at the One For The Boys Fashion Ball included Stanley Tucci, Lewis Hamilton and Alice Cooper, all of whom helped raise awareness and funds educating men on the many cancers affecting them today.

Paris Hilton listens to own songs

Paris Hilton always plays her own music.
The singer, DJ and socialite is a big fan of her own tunes and particularly enjoys "jamming" her new single while she is getting ready for the day.
She said: "I always listen to music when I'm getting ready, usually one of my own songs.
"I love jamming 'High Off My Love', by me."
The 34-year-old star also enjoys entertaining guests to her house with her own DJ sets in her private nightclub.
She said: "I've had a nightclub built in my house next to my recording studio.
"For my birthday, I had a couple of hundred people there and I did a DJ set."
As well as being a fan of her own work, Paris also loves 'Diamonds' hitmaker Rihanna.
She told Grazia magazine: "I check Instagram first thing in the morning. I love following Rihanna as she just posts whatever she wants.
"She always looks hot and she is always fun."
It was recently claimed the heiress will be performing at her sister Nicky's upcoming wedding to James Rothschild.
The star is said to be DJ-ing at the event, which will take place on July 10 at Kensington Palace in London and is even considering singing a few tunes for the happy couple and their guests.

Adam Lambert’s new LP ‘like a therapy session’

Adam Lambert's new album "sounds like a therapy session".
The 33-year-old musician is gearing up to release his third studio record 'The Original High' and revealed he used the LP as a way to try and figure out what he wants out of life, and feels he expressed so much of himself it's like he's talking to a counsellor.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I would say that the big running theme throughout the album is the pursuit of happiness. Some of my previous work and my life in my early twenties, was like most people, was about trying to figure out who I was, a search for identity. Now that that's pretty much established I feel like the next chapter in my life is trying to figure out what works for me and what makes me happy, and what I want out of life.
"The album's about all of that, and it sounds like a therapy session."
The former 'American Idol' contestant - who has been touring with Queen for the past year - said despite making the collection, he is still no closer to figuring out the conundrum of what he wants out of life apart from knowing he wants to continue singing.
He explained: "I think the original high is performing. I think it's the obvious thing, but when I first got up on stage and first sang to an audience, that feeling, that was like the biggest rush, and it still is. But, you can never really get back your first time."
And Adam added he believes 'The Original High' - which is available to stream now on Amazon, and will be available to purchase on Monday (15.06.15) - is his greatest piece of work so far.
He said: "I feel like it's my best album that I've done. Vocally I think it shows the most range for me, and different tones and colours and I think that we've nailed these concepts."

Britney Spears wanted Nicole Richie for video

Britney Spears wanted Nicole Richie in her 'Pretty Girls' video.
The 33-year-old star has revealed she was originally eager for the fashion designer to feature in the clip for her new single featuring Iggy Azalea, because she hoped they could be "valley girls" together.
Speaking about the video - which premiered last month - she said: "I actually wanted Nicole Richie to be in it and I was like, 'We could do something really funny, I know her really well, she's a really, really sweet girl and we can be like valley girls' and all of this kind of stuff. But what happened was we got the song from Iggy's producers and it fit my voice so well and then we just ended up doing it and it worked out and then I got the idea of the valley girl thing and it was really cool."
The track is the first to be taken from Britney's as-yet untitled ninth studio album, and now she has one collaboration under her belt, she admitted she is keen to involve more of her favourite acts on the LP.
When asked whether she has a list of other artists she hopes to work with, she told ITV's 'Good Morning Britain': "Oh yeah! Ludacris, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell, Shania Twain, Celine Dion. There's so many amazing artists out there."

Foo Fighters’ set list is ‘hardest thing’ to make

Foo Fighters claim making a set list is "the hardest thing".
The 'Best of You' hitmakers struggle to decide which tracks to perform when they are on tour because their 20 years together means they have "so many" songs to choose from.
Frontman Dave Grohl explained: "The hardest thing for us is writing a setlist as we have so many f**king songs."
The band - also featuring Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett - are set to headline the Friday night (26.06.15) of Glastonbury Festival later this month, and are particularly excited about their two-and-a-half hour set because it is a "magical" event.
He continued: "When we confirmed that we were playing, people started congratulating us and we were like 'Great' but not really understanding.
"Of course now we do, so it's 'We are f**king headlining Glastonbury. Bring it on' and yes there will be nerves.
"It's such a magical event that so many people come together to experience so many different types of music."
The 46-year-old rocker also gave his opinion on Kanye West after angry fans campaigned against his slot as a headliner, saying he is sure the rapper's performance will be "punk rock" because he is defying the haters.
He told The Sun newspaper: "He could walk out there and have 100,000 people bottle him on stage or he could walk out there and show the world that nothing else matters except for that moment. And I'm sure that is what he will do.
"To me there is nothing more punk rock than having him stand on stage in front of 100,000 people after thousands of people petition for him not to be there."

Jim Ed Brown dies aged 81

Jim Ed Brown has died, aged 81.
The country music star - who released his first album, 'Alone With You' in 1966 - passed away yesterday (11.06.15) following a struggle with lung cancer.
Shortly after the news was announced, fellow musician Alan Jackson paid tribute to Jim during a show in Nashville where he played a snippet from his track 'Pop a Top' and said, "We're gonna miss you, Jim Ed Brown. God bless you."
The Grand Ole Opry member announced he had gone into remission earlier this year after being diagnosed with the disease last September, although on June 3 his daughter Kim revealed the disease had returned.
The country icon originally found fame in The Browns along with sisters Maxine and Bonnie whose singles 'Looking Back to See' and 'In Three Bells' were hits in the 1950s.
After splitting up in 1967, Jim continued to forge a successful career as a solo artist, also duetting with Helen Cornelius.
Jim - who released 22 studio albums during his career, including 'In Style Again' in January - was visited by his friend Bill Anderson last week where he was presented a medallion inducing him into the Hall of Fame, although the official ceremony will not take place until later this year.

Rita Ora working with Chris Brown?

Rita Ora has secretly been working on a new song with Chris Brown.
The 'How We Do' hitmaker - who famously doesn't get along with Chris' ex-girlfriend and 'American Oxygen' singer Rihanna - has reportedly been working with the 26-year-old star on some new material.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Rihanna's always been wary of Rita. They have a similar image and there's hardly a big difference in their music. The song with Chris sounds amazing and is bound to be a big hit. It's the best song Rita's done and will break her in the US."
The 24-year-old beauty - who previously dated her 'I Will Never Let You Down' collaborator Calvin Harris - is said to be hoping working with Chris will boost her profile across the pond but it will also likely add to the tension between her and Rihanna, who are both signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation label.
The track on which the 'Loyal' hitmaker is rumoured to feature will appear on her new album and is expected to follow her latest song 'Poison' as a single.
Meanwhile, Rita is currently in negotiations to join Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez Versini and Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJ Nick Grimshaw on the judging panel for the next series of 'The X Factor', despite having only completed one series on rival show 'The Voice' earlier this year.
A source shared: "Simon likes that Rita will keep Cheryl on her toes."

Ariana Grande teases LP could be out ‘next month’

Ariana Grande has teased her album could be released "next month".
The 21-year-old star is currently working on her third studio album, tentatively titled 'Moonlight', and revealed although she isn't in a hurry to release the collection, it has been made so quickly it is nearly ready to be unveiled.
When asked when it will be arriving, she said: "I have no idea but the music is coming together so quickly, I really don't like to rush these things but it's all just coming together so quickly that I have no idea. I have no idea, I feel like it could be next month!"
The 'Problem' hitmaker - who released her sophomore LP 'My Everything' last year - continued to explain she has felt "really inspired lately" resulting in her upcoming tracks being better than anything she has ever done before.
She gushed: "I've been working on a lot of new music, I've been really inspired lately and I'm really proud of it. I feel like this is definitely the best music I've made but I'm definitely very proud of it.
However, the pint-sized pop star confessed she can be a bit of a loudmouth when it comes to keeping her music a secret, and believes she's already revealed too much about the record.
She told Capital FM: "I'm very excited but it's a long time away of course but I'm always talking about it way too early because I can't resist sharing these things with my fans.
"My fans are like my best friends, I go online and I blab out a whole bunch of stuff that I shouldn't say and I just got Snapchat so god knows, my whole album will be leaked in two days!"
