Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie sequel delayed

The sequel to ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie’ has been delayed.
Brendan O’Carroll, who played the titular character in the first film and the successful TV series, has revealed Britain’s decision to vote to leave the European Union following the recent Referendum, known as Brexit, has put the motion picture back because it would be more expensive to make at the moment.
He said: "We were planning to do it this year but the numbers weren’t right.
"The Brexit drop in Sterling makes it a lot more expensive for the studio than it would have been previously.
"They will wait until the Pound stabilises before they make any plans."
Film bosses have worked out the plot but the 60-year-old star admitted the stars of the show, who including his wife Jennifer Gibney – who plays his character Agnes’ on-screen daughter Cathy – need 10 months notice.
He explained: "The plot and outline are there and ready to go. We know what’s going to happen and how we’re going to do it
"That’s the only way you can price it and make a budget. Other than that it’s just a question of, ‘Are we going or not going?’
"We need 10 months notice on that and so far there’s nothing."
The cast recently starred in an hilarious live TV episode and completed a 77-date tour of Australia and Brendan admitted he is not too disappointed they won’t be making the film this year because everyone has been working so hard.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "It suits me absolutely fine as we have been working our a***s off."
