Gary Oldman had to relearn English accent

Gary Oldman had to relearn his English accent.
The 55-year-old actor - who was born in London - admits he's been living in the US for so long that he had to hire a voice coach to help him with the British dialect for his role in 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy'.
Speaking on the UK's 'The Graham Norton Show', which airs tonight (07.02.14), he said: "I have lived in America for so long, my kids are American and that's what I hear around me every day and occasionally weird sounds that I don't notice slip in. I had to brush up my English."
Meanwhile, Oldman recently admitted he was charmed into accepting the part of Dr. Dennett Norton in the 'Robocop' remake by the director José Padilha.
He told BANG Showbiz earlier this week: "This film wasn't on my list of things to do but I came in and I read it and I thought it was fun, and I like José the director, he was a charmer."
Oldman also insists they are significant differences between the new film and the original 1987 version, directed by Paul Verhoeven.
He added: "I saw the original when it came out. I haven't seen it since. It was more of a horror I remember - it was more violent and had more gore than ours."

Cara Delevingne and Michelle for Thelma And Louise remake

Michelle Rodriguez wants to star alongside Cara Delevingne in 'Thelma And Louise'.
The 'Fast and Furious' star and the bushy-browed model have been inseparable for the past few months and Rodriguez who has been in talks for the forthcoming movie is "pushing" for Delevingne to be cast too.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Michelle is heavily in demand to take the lead after her success in 'The Fast And The Furious'.
"A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, including Kristen Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester - but Michelle is pushing for Cara.
"She thinks she would light up the big screen and that the pair of them would be a huge hit together."
Delevingne is set to appear in 'Kids In Love' this summer and has recently been filming crime drama 'The Face Of An Angel', which tells the story of a journalist who is chasing the story of a murder and its prime suspect.
The original 'Thelma And Louise' was a cult classic roadie movie which became a box office smash in 1991 and starred Geena David and Susan Sarandon.
They play an Arkansas waitress and a housewife who shoot a rapist and go on the run. The movie also stars Brad Pitt.

Nick Frost and Chris O’Dowd spent ‘hours’ ribbing on set

Nick Frost and Chris O'Dowd working together was a "disaster", joked director James Griffiths.
The pair star alongside one another in romantic comedy 'Cuban Fury', where Frost's alter-ego Bruce Garrett battles it out with O'Dowd's character Drew as they try and win over their boss' affection.
Since both actors have a great sense of humour they spent "hours and hours" teasing one another while filming which prolonged getting joint sequences shot.
Griffiths explained: "Anything with Nick and Chris was a disaster. I mean it was hours and hours of the two of them ribbing."
The British director was forced to do one particular scene with O'Dowd alone because he struggled to get though it with other cast there, however he insists he wouldn't have had it any other way and claims working with the pair of them was a "joy" as it's the kind of "headache" you want.
Speaking at the UK premiere of the film at the Vue Cinema in London's Leicester Square on Thursday (06.02.14), he told BANG Showbiz: "There is one scene in the office where Chris has to describe what he'd do to Rashida [who plays female lead Julia], which is very, very rude. It went on for about 30 takes and we just couldn't get through it because everyone was gawping. In the end I had to do a single on Chris with no one else in the room, just doing the lines because it was tricky. But that's the joy you want, you want that headache."
Frost and O'Dowd attended the premiere alongside their co-stars Jones, Olivia Colman and Kayvan Novak, as well as singer Paloma Faith.

Jared Leto to take another acting break

Jared Leto wants to take another break from acting.
The 42-year-old star quit the big screen over half a decade ago to focus on his music career with his band 30 Seconds to Mars and made a comeback this year playing Rayon - a transgender AIDS patient - in 'Dallas Buyers Club', but he's now considering going on another hiatus for "five or six years".
He said: "I'm ready to take another five or six years. If it means coming back with this kind of opportunity and this kind of work ... and this really important story and this tiny little film that we shot in 25 days with no lights, no rehearsal, low-budget film. It's a miracle that it even got made. It took 20 years to get to the screen. So I feel really fortunate. It had been almost six years since I made a movie and I've been touring with 30 Seconds to Mars and still am touring with 30 Seconds to Mars so we'll see what happens next."
Leto is in the running for the Best Supporting Actor prize at the Oscar Awards for his remarkable performance opposite Matthew McConaughey in the gripping biopic and, although he admits he's not bothered if he wins, he believes it would be nice for his family and co-stars.
He explained to RTÉ Ten: "I've never pined for awards but it's really nice when you get them, not just for me but for your friends and your family and the people that you've worked with and for audiences that have supported you so it becomes a really a time of joy but I think it's nice to celebrate your peers."

Cuba Gooding, Jr. is to star in 'Gridlocked'.
The 46-year-old actor has signed on to play a former SWAT team leader in the action thriller, which is being directed by Allan Ungar, according to The Wrap.com.
The story sees the former chief followed by an obnoxious movie star, who is shadowing him while researching a role.
However, the unlikely pair are forced to join forces when a team of mercenaries attack a training facility and the duo must organise its surviving members, while fighting for their own lives.
Ungar will direct from an original screenplay he wrote with Rob Robol, while Bruno Marino, Geoff Hart and Cody Hackman produce.
Meanwhile, Cuba won an Oscar award for his supporting role opposite Tom Cruise in the 1996 comedy-drama 'Jerry Maguire'.
He has also received praise or his role as Carter Wilson in Lee Daniel's 'The Butler' and will next be seen alongside Sharon Leal in the slavery drama 'Carry Me Home'.
Gooding admits his career hasn't reached the same heights since his 1996 Oscar win, but he insists it's all down to his personal choice of roles.
He said previously: "My post-Academy Award years weren't great choices for me as an artist. It's been a problem. Caught in the trappings, that private-jets way of life, I had to deal with my stubbornness and the fame hype. I picked low-budget films."
Filming for 'Gridlocked' will kick off this spring.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to host Golden Globes 2015

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are to host the Golden Globe Awards next year.
The comediennes have fronted the star-studded ceremony for the past two years, and have now agreed to host the 72nd annual event on January 11, 2015, held at the glitzy Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Hollywood Foreign Press Association president, Theo Kingma, announced the news in a press release, saying: "Not only do we have the privilege of announcing the date of the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, we are very appreciative of Tina and Amy for hosting the ceremony for a third year in a row.
"There is no doubt they will once again host a memorable Golden Globe Awards celebration!"
Fey, 43, and Poehler, 42, inked deals last year to present the ceremony this year and next year after they received raving reviews for their hosting skills of the prestigious event in January 2013.
The former 'Saturday Night Live' stars opened the awards this year with well-received jokes about Matt Damon, Meryl Streep and Leonardo DiCaprio.
However, the funny duo were forced to apologise to Taylor Swift last year after Fey upset the country singer - who is renowned for dating a string of Hollywood stars - by warning her to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son" and advised her to take "some me time".
Poehler later apologised, saying: "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."
