Molly Shannon supports Sarah Jessica Parker in Kim Cattrall feud

Molly Shannon "didn’t like" how Kim Cattrall handled her feud with Sarah Jessica Parker.
Kim, 62, lashed out publicly at her ‘Sex and the City’ co-star Sarah Jessica last year, claiming she could have been "nicer" during their time on the HBO series and its two spin-off movies, and suggesting there was an "issue" between them whilst on the show, which Sarah Jessica later denied any knowledge of.
Her comments came after plans for a third movie were cancelled after reports surfaced that Kim had made a series of diva demands, and when denying the reports, she hit out at Sarah Jessica.
Now, 53-year-old Sarah Jessica’s ‘Divorce’ co-star Molly Shannon has stuck up for her friend, saying she thought Kim should have handled any issue she had with Jessica personally.
Speaking on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’ on Thursday (04.10.18), she said:"I just don’t think that’s the way to handle something.
"I think that if you have something like that, whether it be personal, you should deal with it personally. And Sarah Jessica’s just the greatest, so I didn’t like it."
This isn’t the first time that the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star has shown her support for the actress in light of the feud.
She previously said: "For me, Sarah is just so supportive and so wonderful and we just get along so well."
"She loves funny women and is just so genuinely supportive and kind, and like a ‘girls’ girl. So I just feel lucky that I get to work with her."
Kim and Sarah Jessica’s feud reached new heights earlier this year when, following the death of Kim’s brother, Sarah Jessica reached out to send her condolences, and was met with hostility from Kim.
Kim said: "My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.
"Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona. (sic)"
