Miranda Lambert cried onstage as she sang a song she penned with her ex-husband.
The 32-year-old country singer teared up as she sang ‘Over You’, written with her former spouse Blake Shelton, during her set at Tinley Park in Illinois on Friday (29.07.16).
She said to the crowd: "I told you I was a mess."
Meanwhile, the ‘House That Built Me’ star previously revealed the past year has been full of "heartache" and "healing" for her.
She wrote on Instagram: "The last year of my life has been one of heartache and healing. Of learning to be honest …. Accepting the flaws and celebrating the smiles. Finding peace in dark places … having some moments alone with me. Facing fears and feelings… All of them.
"I got to know my guitars…became friends with a pencil and paper … Used melodies to lead me places I had never been … Made music with my friends. Because music is medicine. This means the world to me. Thank you for joining me on this journey."
Miranda is now in a relationship with fellow country singer Anderson East, whilst Blake is dating Gwen Stefani, who he met on ‘The Voice’.
The 40-year-old singer previously admitted he wished he could have gone "into a coma" during his split from Miranda.
He said: "This time last year, there was no light at the end of the tunnel for me personally. There was a point there where I thought I didn’t even want to exist anymore.
"I told people I wished I could go into a coma and wake up a year from now."
