Miranda Kerr is "in baby bliss" after giving birth to her second son.
The 35-year-old model and her husband Evan Spiegel welcomed their son Hart – their first child together – into the world earlier this month, and in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday (25.05.18), Miranda thanked her fans for their congratulatory messages and expressed her happiness at becoming a mother for the second time.
Posting a picture of wooden toys which spelled out the word "Hart", Miranda – who also has seven-year-old son Flynn with her ex-husband Orlando Bloom – wrote: "Thank you so much for all of your warm wishes. Evan, Flynn and I have been in baby bliss for the last 17days with our new arrival, baby boy Hart. We feel so very blessed. (sic)"
The adorable Instagram post marked Miranda’s first social media post about her second son, although she and her Snapchat co-founder spouse did release a statement after Hart’s birth.
The statement read: "Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family. Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. Thank you for the kind words and wishes during this very special time."
Earlier this month, it was reported that Hart was born on May 7 at around 11:50pm, but other details, such as the tot’s weight, were not made public.
Meanwhile, Miranda admitted back in December that her she had been struggling far more with her second pregnancy than she did when she was carrying Flynn.
She said: "I have been getting hormonal headaches, which I never got with Flynn.
"Apparently, my doctor said [with] the second pregnancy, your hormones kind of kick in a little stronger because they’re like, ‘Oh, yeah. I know what’s happening. I know what to do.’ So that’s probably why."
